I've only been here once, and ordered take out due to restrictions and all. Decided to try it for once and ordered light lunch. One set of sushi, fries, and Rockefeller oysters sounded good for a hot summer afternoon. What can go wrong? When I saw the food I was completely baffled. I mean I couldn't believe that was what I had paid for. Main thing I was looking forward to was mediocre sushi roll. Roll was completely 100% bland. Oysters were topped with too much of a cheese I wasn't a fan of. Fries were way too oily and soggy just after 10 min of picking up. Maybe if I would've dined in rather than doing take out they would've served it better ? Eeeh, was afraid it was going to be that new overrated type of seafood restaurant, but had to give it a try right. If I want real sushi, or real seafood I know to avoid this place.

Finally got to try this place. It's a fun place for a hangout with friends! Came during lunchtime on a weekday and it wasn't crowded. We did outdoor dining. I like how their menu is a "no touch" one since there's a barcode on each table to scan to open the menu on our phones. My favorites are the black pepper beef mignon, calamari, and the tuna tartare. I like the Asian fusion foods they have here, very flavorful! The blossom mule tastes very fragrant too!

Beware: they stop seating at 0850 pm even though their closing time is 10pm. We came in, stood there for almost 10 minutes before someone came to us. There were empty tables available. They let this other couple right in front of us to sit and turned us away (also only 2 people). Totally not cool. The management needs to look into how to manage their kitchen better and change their closing time to 0850pm, not 1000pm. This restaurant is very mismanaged. Not coming back again even though was a regular customer. Unbelievable.

I first discovered EMC when I went to their original location in Ktown LA. EMC now has 2 NorCal locations, one in Concord at the Veranda, and one on Santana Row. I usually go to the Santana Row location, so this was our first time coming to the Concord location. We decided to come on a Monday because it was our first time eating out with our newborn. The restaurant seemed baby friendly as I saw a few strollers and babies. They had indoor and outdoor dining available. Happy hour is every day from 3-6pm, and all day on Mondays. We usually order: oysters, truffle salmon roll, scallop carpaccio, cucumber salad, truffle fries, garlic noodles, crispy pepper calamari, soft shell crab sliders, and uni pasta. The uni pasta is our favorite! Creamy rich pasta topped with fresh uni. Sadly, they ran out of uni the day we went. Service was a bit off, the server kept trying to clear away plates that still had food on them. Overall, we had a fun experience out with the baby and will be back soon!

After a long day, I thought it would be nice to treat the family to a delicious dinner. Because we have the little one with us, we thought it would be easier to receive delivery. Placed an order via Uber Eats at 9:36 pm with an expected delivery time of 10:15. Over and over, the order gets delayed. Okay, understandable. Eventually, it's 11:20 pm. We are still waiting. The estimated delivery time has been pushed back to 11:45 pm. A driver has even been lined up. Still nothing. Suddenly, our order is canceled. The response we get from support is that the restaurant was closed when we made the order. Oookay, so... 1. Why was this not made clear when we made the order? 2. We double checked and it looks like this statement is inaccurate. The listed hours on Google were until 10:30 p.m. and we ordered well before then. 3. Why did it take two hours to cancel? By the time we were informed that we needed to do something else, most of the other options had already closed. Overall, I've found the response and the handling of the situation to be more than subpar and indicative of how much priority customer service seems to be these days. Incredibly disappointing and such a waste of our time. Now we have to figure out something else for food...

(Saturday before Mother's Day) We decided to pick up dinner from EMC Seafood tonight. This is our first time dining with them. The online ordering system does not appear to work so we called. Given that it's Mother's Day weekend, they were very busy so it took us 3 tries before we could place our order. No problem. The person who took our order was very courteous. Our order was ready for pick up in 15-20 minutes! Picking up was easy. Fantastic! The Lobster Garlic Noodles was delicious! I love that they chopped the lobster to make it easier to pull the meat from the shells. The Hickory Smoked Salmon was generous to say the least. It was cooked correctly. We also ordered Yang Chow Fried Rice, which was tasty too! Their menu has a lot of variety. Can't wait to try everything! Next time, we'll dine in-person!

Chick, Chris was a superb, fun server, excellent food, even on the happy hour menu. We shared appetizers--roasted Brussel sprouts, garlic noodles, dumplings, seafood wontons, cucumber salad! Dining outside or in.

Everything ordered was fresh tasting and had really good flavors. Although it was a pretty busy evening, the service was efficient and our waiter was really nice.

Oh EMC. What a shame it is that the kitchen and hosts are absolutely.... bottom tier. The food here is tasty, and fresh. The service... well, let me say this... our waiter was named Leo. He was an extremely friendly and personable guy who did his best to correct the errs of EMC's service ways. Sadly, it just didn't do enough to overcome the myriad of glaring shortcomings that EMC has, and that ultimately led to a disappointing experience. Let's kick things off. We got in around 5:30pm on a Saturday. My girlfriend walked in to a laughing gaggle of hosts who were uninterested in anything beyond the latest told joke. Big sigh. But okay. We took our seat, and surely things would get better. They didn't. Our server was a super nice guy. He did his best to listen to our large happy hour order and brought out our drinks and apps quickly. Sadly, the kitchen failed to send any of our entrees over the 2.5 hours that we spent here, and we had to remind our sever multiple times that we had requested them. Additionally, we never received a couple of your Happy Hour items for which we were charged. Which is a huge red flag. It is too bad, really. We had heard the rumblings of the lousy service here more times than once from friends and online reviews. We thought that we hit the jackpot with our server. But it is really the kitchen here that is beyond clueless, I am afraid. It seems to be too small and understaffed to even handle a limited capacity seating, which really makes me wonder how they ever plan on dealing with a normal restaurant evening ever again. The food here is good, make no mistake, but the real question mark is whether or not you will ever even get it. Might be worth a roll of the dice, but with fresh seafood in no short supply in the Bay, I can't say for certain that I will be making that gamble again any time soon.

Tasty fusion seafood restaurant. A little pricey but the food is good.

Happy Hour EVERYDAY 3-6 MONDAY ALL DAY Incredible Brussel Sprouts, Crispy Pepper Calamari (Jalepeño yumminess, needs a little less breading), THE SOFT SHELL CRAB IS TO DIE FOR, Oysters are yum, Salmon carpacio is exquisite (like butter), Sashimi great!! Wednesday is 1/2 off bottle of wine great date night Happy Hour! Soft shell crab not pictured ( we devoured it too soon! ) Women's bathroom leaves a lot to be desired... broken door handles and overflowing sinks... the inside needs revamping but bar looks cool (usually we would sit there but COVID) Go to in the Veranda Concord and Santana Row! Update: Changing my 5 star review to a 4 star review because the manager made a poor decision. We were told 1/2 price Wine Bottle Wednesday but our order didn't qualify because apparently we didn't order 2 "ENTREES" PLEASE READ THE FINE PRINT. IMO poor management decision, is the principle. Enjoyed but the end of evening left us with a not so great feeling.

I went out my city and met with family here. My cousin spoke highly on this restaurant. The wait was super long that was the only downfall for ca covid restrictions have to do with that so I'll give that a pass. Our waiter was fantastic I've never had a better waiter I wish I got his name. The menu had so much from sushi rolls, garlic noodles (shrimp, lobster, crab), orange chicken, fried rice, calamari, cocktails, and more. I couldn't decide. I loved the calamari and garlic noodles. It is on the upscale side. I find it perfect for any birthday celebration etc.

First time coming here was a pretty good experience. Got there 30 minutes after they opened so we was seated right way. By the time we were done there was a line outside. So I suggest you get there early. We sat outside because of the good weather that day. Tables are socially distanced. Staff wore mask and gloves and helped out with drink and food suggestions. First we had the grilled garlic oysters..they were just ok. Then we had the California roll..it's hard to mess that up so it was good. The Mongolian Beef was and spicy and tender I throughly enjoyed it. Very good! King Crab I would definitely pass on it next time especially for the price. It's a version of a crab boil. Just didn't sit well with me. It had like butter garlic sauce that was almost water like...just had corn and potatoes no sausage..but ok Young Chow Fried Rice was good..it's an combination of chicken beef and shrimp..needed some more soy sauce was a little on the bland side..just mixed it with that Mongolian beef and that made it better Lobster Garlic Noodles..was very good tasty scrumptious and whatever mouth watering adjectives you can think of..some say I might be a little too excited..but it was good to me cause I don't even like garlic noodles from any restaurant or homemade. It had a whole lobster including the head and little lobster thingys..it had just the right amount of garlic to butter to noodle ratio. I would definitely get it again. Suggestion..get there early and sample, sample and sample

Ok so let's talk. I came to this place for lunch. Wanted to sit down but was told it was a 20 minute wait just to get a table. Didn't have that kind of time so I figured forget it I'll order to go. Only thing is in person I was told you couldn't order from the lunch menu to go. But the strange thing is I was told (by my co-worker who wanted to order it online and just pick it up) if I had ordered online for pick up I could order off the lunch menu! Strange right! So now we are ordering from their dinner menu I guess! But I'm committed to trying the place so I go forth with the ordering. I get the lobster garlic noodles and the jalapeño wings. Almost sixty dollars later! And now the food review. The wings were pretty good, but only 6 came with the order (not a deal breaker but) then there's the lobster noodles. Listen this dish was good BUT!! I pictured the combination of lobster and garlic noodles being an epic pairing. But the way it's served the dish was lacking. Why? Because, the lobster is still in its shell, it's wasn't cleaned to my liken. I had to navigate shell, gills, and all other things to try and get to the meat. And if I'm working to get to the meat then I'm eating the meat separately apart for the noodles. So the dish just doesn't fit. The noodles were flavorful, the lobster was good. But the two didn't mesh together! And at the price it left a lot to be desired. So moral of the story, if you go for lunch; sit down.
