We have them come by our shop everyday, and usually I buy something every week. They give a menu for the week on Mondays. Food portions are great, price is great, no complaints at all. Ive read other reviews and their basically personal needs complaints, and intolerance to the nature of business. Not everything can be perfect, but i can tell you that the food is great, fresh, and its nice to have it delivered right to my service bay! They young lady is very nice, always polite, and informed about what shes selling!

The workers were very kind and it is a very good environment. I especially love the butter beer.

3/13/13FRESH IS BESTLike clockwork, each morning a young girl (only a couple times has it been a guy) stops in our office with a rolling cooler of lunches. Each selection is $7. (Entrees recently went up $0.50). This is a really wonderful service for people who often work through their lunch and don't have time to bring one from home. One of the attorneys in our firm purchases a salad every day. Another attorney purchases entrees from time to time. I have tried a few of both. FFT has a variety of selections (March menu listed below) but I really like the salads best.Today's lunch is a Chinese chicken salad. The dressing is much too oily for me, but that's usually not the case. I feel like most of their dressings (while given far too much) are still healthy - often more vinegar based. It's very good though and everything in it tastes very fresh. From time to time the owner comes in our office and always seems very rushed but is overall pleasant. I always leave a tip with any purchase. I don't believe the employees are compensated all that well, especially with how hard they work, rain or shine. Plus, they are generally very friendly and always happy to pull out each item from their cooler and describe it for indecisive people with visual appetities. I'm sure I'm not the only one who requests this. Sometimes I don't even want lunch but I like seeing the options. Everything always looks delicious!March Menu as follows (I listed Monday and Tuesday only - options change daily):Chinese Chicken Tiger WrapSzechwan Chicken with NoodlesAsian Chicken Salad w/ Peach Ginger VinaigretteBBQ Chicken SaladMango Chicken SaladChicken Taco SaladPot Roast with Mash PotatoesHomemade Pork Tamales w/ Spanish RiceCali Chicken wrap w/ roasted bell peppers, spincach, cream cheese, cucumberMacaroni and cheese with BBQ Chicken fingersChinese Chicken SaladGrilled Sesame Chicken SaladFiesta Chicken SaladNOTE TO OWNER: I HAVE A SUGGESTION; INSTEAD OF INCLUDING A PLASTIC FORK IN EVERY CONTAINER, HOW ABOUT A ZIPLOCK FULL THAT THE EMPLOYEE CARRIES. S/HE CAN ASK SALAD PURCHASERS IF THEY NEED ONE. SINCE MANY OFFICES HAVE KITCHENS, AND SINCE PLASTIC FORKS ARE NOT REUSEABLE, THIS INCLUSION SEEMS VERY ENVIRONMENTALLY UNFRIENDLY. I KNOW OUR OFFICE APPRECIATES YOUR REUSABE HOT MEAL CONTAINERS. JUST AN IDEA...

My son's school uses this company for school lunches. Worst website ever. So phenomenally bad, I'm going to have to quit using it. My son has now twice not had lunch because the checkout system is so bad I didn't realize he didn't have a lunch ordered. I've emailed the customer feedback and clearly the owner doesn't understand that the usability of his website matters. Honestly, unless they hire a designer it will continue to suck. I've asked my school to switch to another provider. Fingers crossed!

I just started purchasing salads from Food For Thought as they conveniently come to my work every day. I was very pleasantly surprised by the size, freshness, and creativity of products they provide and am now obsessed with their creamy balsamic and mango vinaigrette dressings. My only complaint is there are only a couple salads/plates in each category, it would be nice if they could bring in a little higher quantity with them as they are quickly snatched up. Everything has been delicious so far!

F4TC Recently added new options for ordering. With an Updated website and billing options for easier use. I've been utilizing the service more for my daughters. Meal choices continue to provide balanced and healthy ingredients. As a nutritionist, when I do not make my girls their lunches, I am confident that they still receive a very healthy and balanced meal when a lunch is ordered The variety that is offered is awesome.

Don't even bother. They don't think their customers need to know when they're closed and won't be making scheduled stops. Our entire office went without food because they didn't let us know they were closed Columbus Day. Which HELLO is that even a real holiday anymore if we all have to work? Once I realized that they weren't coming, I called to confirm that they weren't coming and spoke to the owner who didn't even so much as apologize for the inconvenience. When I explained that it was a MAJOR inconvenience, she still didn't apologize. I used to spend $28 with them per week (4 days of meals) and now I'm not even interested in spending my money with them at all. In fact, I'm encouraging basically everyone I know to also stop giving them money. If they don't care about us, the customers, then I see no need to give them business. They also have a new girl making deliveries for offices and she never knows what's actually in the food. And if you ask her, she literally continues texting on her phone until she's done with her sentence. *then* once she's hit send, I know bc I heard the sound confirming it was sent, she'll look up and tell you what kind of food you're looking at is. Just go to Englunds on port Chicago instead. Much better service and prices are close to FFT. And they are at least reliable!

Every day on the dot Debbie from food for thought drops in, with a smile on her face and a cooler full of salads. Even though I have only purchased salads she also sells wraps, as well as a few other things. The second you tell her you're interested she starts taking them out and lining them up on my desk, explaining what each one is as she sets it down, and even gives a suggestion when you're having trouble deciding. My first two times I've ordered it was the fiesta salad. It's filled with strips of zesty chicken, shredded cheese, tomatoes, corn, black beans, tortilla strips, and a red pepper dressing. It's so good I usually have it right away instead of waiting for a normal lunch hour. The portion doesn't look huge when they're packaged, but once I put half in a giant bowl I realize it can easily be two meals. My last salad I ordered was really good as well. Chicken again but this time it tasted like it was Cajun spiced. These salads are amazing and as long as she keeps coming by I'll keep buying.

Great option for lunch! They have delicious salads and entrees. Portions are good for the price. I have tried the following: Steak Atkins Salad - My favorite! Great dressing. Chinese Chicken Salad - Very good battered chicken, there's usually only three to four pieces though. Wish there was more! Spinach Salad with Cranberry and Feta - I like spinach, but this had a TON of spinach in it. The sweet cranberry vinaigrette dressing was good, but this wasn't one of my favorites. Sichuan Noodles - Carb heaven. Breakfast Burrito - Good, but needs a bit more salsa. Hot sauce would be greatly appreciated too! Call them to find out if they'll drop by at your building or cater for you! Very nice people.

Food For Thought continues to provide delicious meals! I doubt there is a day that Mitchell (the delivery man of the past several months) doesn't sell out. Everything I've gotten has been full of flavor, and listening to Mitchell describe the items in his British accent is a lovely experience in itself, haha! He makes everything just SOUND so good! Most meals will also easily get you two servings, making this a very cost-effective lunch.

Caught them delivering food to the Department downstairs and placed an order for 20 meals for my two clinics. My staff greatly appreciated the food, it was tastely, of a good size and value... and best of all they deliver to your office. Their menu items change by weekday so they offer a good variety.

Delicious, fresh, healthy foods. They make all their own salad dressings in-house and I like them all, especially the Cesar! It's a great lunch at a reasonable price, and they come to you! Highly recommend!
