My first expression “Food was as cold as dead”. This was my first visit at grill city and we were so excited that we found the place and the presentation of food was great and the place was clean. I ordered squid and grilled chicken with rice. This was also my first experience eating squid.Me and my friend started eating and with each bite we started to complain more. Why? Because the food was not fresh cooked and I guess they prepared and grilled the meats around 5 or 6am and it was on hot area to keep them warm. We ordered the food at 12pm which is lunch time. The best time to eat grilled meat is right after the grilling not 6 or 5 hours later, the issue was not only the squid and chicken were cold, but also hard to chew (when you eat grilled meat right after grilling it, it is soft and juicy!) so we stopped eating the food on a half way!The spice was good and if only the meat was fresh and hot, it would be out of this world! But sadly the place of that cold dish was trash!I am big fan of Asian food, and almost in all asian resturant you can see soya sauce, salt and some other spices for customer to use! None were found there! So please don’t serve cold meat! Thank you!

The food this visit wasn't the best. The pompano (fried fish) was a bit soggy but still tasty. Must have spiced vinegar with this. The chicken skewers are always a good treat here. The soda I got was complete flat (fountain drink no carbonation at all). The kare kare was bland. So bland in fact that we walked into seafood city , bought the ingredients and made it at home (came out really good). Seemed like an odd day, our visits are usually good so we will continue to eat here for sure

Needs improvement in all locations throughout CA. This one in particular- I ordered barbecue, it was handed to me cold at 1pm. Not sure if it's left over from the day before. Seems like it was refrigerated. I asked for a refund, 4 workers had to be called to return my money. Why can't we have a decent Filipino food place.... So sad.

It's grilled Filipino food. A bunch is cooked and is warmed throughout the day. Food like this is decent if you know what to expect. Just like a hamburger from McDonald's, doesn't change. The BBQ sticks are great, fried Bangus (milk fish) is fire but is usually sold out at the end of the day.

Ordered longsilog, didn't finish it, but now have food poisoning. Never coming back. The youngest server they had was nice, you could tell the other ladies working there didn't want to be there.

I ordered the BBQ Pork and Liempo Combo plates. Both were cold, rubbery and tough to eat. They looked delicious, but looks can be deceiving. Overall it satisfied my craving for Filipino food. I was shocked by the prices too.

Please train your employees on how to handle right customer service. A number of your employees are moody and lack TLC when talking to customers. The cashier is HARD OF HEARING and gets your orders wrong just because she cannot hear correctly so she probably needs a HEARING AID. Some of the food is not fresh and one of our companions had an upset stomach from consuming it. I wish I could give a higher rating and review but this Filipino restaurant is plagued with the same issue as other Filipino dining places, settling for mediocrity and just barely maintaining quality.

Grill City needs to HIRE new employees... the ladies that work there are not friendly and very SLOW!!! Management really needs to follow up with their standards of serving and customer service. Training is much needed here. No smiles or greetings. They stare at you like you are bothering them. It's funny to note that management responds to the bad reviews of customer service, but it seems like they don't do anything about it. SHAME ON YOU!The only item I like is their GRILL Pork or Chicken Skewers. The entrees are hit or miss... Luke warm or cold... If you want delishes Filipino food... visit the Oriental Food Market in Concord. They have a small selection of Filipino food and it is "homemade with love." And, most importantly, very good service. Perhaps management should visit and learn.

We got pork bbq and the whole family had stomach ache after and also the restroom was filthy with paper on the floor everywhere and no hand paper towel available. The place was super hot like the heater was on and we can tell that the employees were not comfortable. Please check these and resolve issues. Thanks

Even though I've NEVER had a positive experience, I continue to come back because there aren't very many readily available filipino food establishments. Came in because my daughter wanted Adobo. The line has typically been slow, in my experience. But that is usually a mix of customers and staff just not really caring that a line has built up. I asked for the 5 stick BBQ deal but asked if they could be split into 2 bags because I was going to be bringing my husband dinner at work. The lady wouldn't do it at first-saying it wasnt allowed (and then she kept repeating it), then after repeating MULTIPLE times that I wanted pork bbq, she packed it in 2 bags like I requested. Why bother giving me a hard time if you were going to do it any way? Then I asked for the Adobo. It was the end of the day, but it was dry. Not just chewy dry, but when we got home, the chicken was HARD and lacking any sauce. I should have said something at the store, but I was just eager to get out of there. We ended up throwing it all out after a few bites. Once I FINALLY made it to checkout, the nice young man was actually very helpful and thorough. And just as he was finishing, another employee started ringing up another customer's items while my transaction hadn't been completed. And the young man who was helping me had to do my whole transaction all over again.

If you're looking for Filipino food then Grill City isn't a bad option. It's a restraunt inside of Seafood City and its really good. Food is great and the service is a little slow but it's worth since they make it relatively fresh. Atmosphere isnt bad for those who dont mind noisy malls. I had Pork Skewers and rice and my gf had Bangus and rice with Kare Kare. Our drink were calamansi and coconut juice.

Check your items! Went here to try their bbq chicken combo, when I got home, they forgot to give me the bbq chicken skewer! It was wrapped and brought to the register but some how the guy didn't pack it. SMH. Tried calling them to get a refund and no answer.

Wide selection of Filipino dishes but unfortunately some are just ok & not exactly a good value. However we do like their pork bbq so while we won’t go out of our way to buy it, we’ll take it to go if we’re in the area.

Very disappointed bc they are selling the dinuguan sauce only not even one meat in the container. Been telling the server that seems like there’s no more but she was not listening to me and I paid same price . Just found out when we ate at home at 9:00 pm. Please grill city when the tray is empty take out from the display and do not sell to your customers. Hindi tama nga ibenta pa parang niloko mo ako
