2 of us dined there Valentine’s Day without reservations. The restaurant had many seats left, but the service was very slow. We waited a long time to order and get our food. It took over an hour to get our food. And the booth benches were very hard after waiting so long. The food was good though.

Really a hidden gem. Loved the attentive staff and quick service. We ordered Veg and Shrimp Tempura, Grilled Edamame, Spicy Tuna and Salmon Avocado rolls. We loved everything but spicy Tuna was my top choice. We will be back again to try more options.

We had never been here. I took my wife and 10 year old daughter.Sushi was outstanding. Service - our server was very kind and friendlyAmbiance was AWFUL. The music of choice was absolutely embarrassing. The lyrics to one song, "Twinkle, twinkle little B*tch, Im so F'ing over this." Repeated over and over. F words throughout the song. I went up and quickly asked if they would turn the song off as I had a young daughter with me. The sushi staff chuckled and eventually turned it off to the next song. Which was no better. Again, we asked them to turn it down or off. They finally did. I have never in my life gone to any establishment where I had to listen to the garbage that was on. It was incredibly uncomfortable. Do better!

Had a fantastic experience at Kinja Sushi in Concord! It's a great local spot around the Todos Santos area. If you're craving delicious and fresh sushi, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!

Absolutely recommend! The scallop city was my absolute favorite, I could eat that every day. We ordered 4 different signature rolls (sorry I don’t remember the other names) and definitely would eat any of them again. The stuffed jalapeños were also super good. The waitresses were SO kind, especially with our baby too. Overall 10/10 experience and will be back!

Love the food and service here! The concord location is great, and they always take care of you. We were pleasantly surprised to see that they are opening a San Ramon location and hope the food and service is the same as the Concord location!

Asked a friend for a few sushi place recommendations in the Concord area and this was our first pick, and we are so glad we did! Came on. Saturday evening and there was plenty of street parking around the corner. Seated immediately and very nice hostess/server. Got the Grilled Edamame ($6.5), Firefighter Roll ($18.5), and the Three Kinjas sushi roll/sashimi combo ($32) and all were perfectly delicious. Looking forward to come back here for sure!

I would have given 5 stars if my chirashi didn't include mackerel, which I find too fishy for my taste. Otherwise, all is well and service is great. Parking does get crowded in Concord's business corridor on Willow Pass Rd, so plan for snug parking.

Ordered ramen to go... Enjoyed the care in packaging. The pork was delicious! Broth was good. Would try other dishes here.

Had an order of the Kappa Maki ($7): cucumber wrapped in pounded rice. Food was delicious, staff was engrossed (both in making sushi & watching a bit of sports on a very large LCD panel), and an the ambiance was chic.Vegetarian options: Plenty of animal-free optionsWheelchair accessibility: No issues with changes in elevation etc.

Good sushi, a little pricey for the area it's located in.Random crackhead hurled curses at me as I entered the location.
