A gem of a place. This place was recommended to me by a friend so I visited the place with high expectations. And they didn’t disappoint.The food was excellent 10/10. We ordered the tikka kabob, chopan kabab, bolani and afghan burger. They were all tasty. The kebabs were juicy and tender.The owners and waiters were the nicest people I have met specially Haroon Jan. Adding it to list of my favorite places to eat at.

Best Uzbek Plov (Pilaf) I had in the Bay Area. Extremely flavorful, not dry at all. The portion is good for 4 people, with generous amount of meat.

I ordered for Pickup on doordash. Showed up to restaurant, the nice man behind the counter (seems to also be the cook), ran over and asked me what I needed. My order wasnt quite ready-- no problem I waited in my car. I was getting ready to go back inside and to my surprise he was running out to my car with the food and apologized again for the wait. Got home, and the lamb meat is very tender and tasty. Glad I gave this place a try and I look forward to trying more of the menu. Thank you!

This place has the greatest Afghan authentic food ?, I have been to a lot of Afghan restaurants in the past 10 years, none of them were good as Kunduz Kabab.

Service was goid, people very nice We had: 1. Quibili pillau 5/5; 2 lamb pillau 5/5; 3. Shornakdu (chickpeas) 2/5 & 4. Ferni 5/5. Our main dishes came w green salad 4.5/5 and flat bread 3.5/5. The chickpeas were vwry different thaan othwr v we rsions i have had or made. Some of the diah was pureed and it was served warm. Not my favorite version. Bot lqmb dishes were excellent rich and warming on a winter's day. Loved the ferni; not too sweet. Nice addition to the afghan restaurants in area. Looking forward to the expanded (not soft open) menu apparently available starting monday!

We took the family today to try this place out. Kabob was soo delicious and juicy. Naan was fresh and warm. Definitely recommend the lamb tikka kabob, can't find it like this anywhere. Even the fries are homemade and so yummy. Whole family left full and happy. We will be back soon!
