Garlic salmon roll and Shrek roll were both so good and had the perfect amount of rice. And the salmon teriyaki x grilled basa were cooked perfectly and so flavourful ?

Really good food! The baked mussels were a must. I also had the Gold Rush with cream cheese ?The chicken & pork katsu were good cuts of meat but seemed a bit bland.

Very large portions, the rice was a bit overcooked, hence the 4/5Large selection, served very quickly. Cozy place and nice service.Parking in front of the premises. Prices moderate.I recommend

Ozora Sushi used to be our go to restaurant if we don’t know what to eat. But this place is definitely going downhill. Food portions get smaller (especially the chicken karaage!). Services are going down due to short of staff. Sushi rolls are too sourcy. We probably will not come back..

Great garlic edamames! My Lion King roll was good. Half the dishes arrived fast but the other half took too long- the other folks were almost done with their meal. But overall good so I will return.

This place went down hill. Last few times I was there the service was horrible. And then finding out they got closed twice due to rodents was the mail on the coffin.

Enjoyed appetizer of their Special of the day- crab, jalapeno, cream cheese, fried and with crunch topping. Was good but jalapeño was raw, would have been great if jalapeño was par cooked in this deep dried roll. Raw was clunky.Great vegetarian options that were unique, especially the yummy yummy roll, vegetarian roll, Japanese pickles and side salad.Guest had bento box chicken teriyaki, chicken was dry, not great. California roll standard. The rolls were great but bento was not my cup of tea. You may like it.

This place is very nice atmosphere. The service is in impeccable. I recommend the sushi rolls very much. I did not care for the udon soup as much as I thought I would. But the Bento box and the sushi are not to be believed. Excellent date place with lots of big TVs if you like to watch sports.

I usually try to avoid bashing a small restaurant at all costs. The industry is up against all odds trying to survive in CA right now. This is our go to restaurant for sushi. Until now.The last 2 or 3 times we went it has gotten worse and worse in every category. Long waits to be seated. Long waits for food. Long wait for the check. Luke warm miso soup and scalding hot tea. But the final kicker for us was the “raw” teriyaki beef we got last time. We let our server know and he delivered cooked meat on a plate seperate without taking the entire bento box and redoing the order. So we had no table room for anything.I am giving 2 stars because I’m really hoping they get it together. This is (maybe was) our favorite restaurant. We’ll give it one more chance probably in a few weeks. Please hire servers and/or cooks to meet the seating capacity!

Let me preface this: the food portions are HUGE! You get really big platters of food and the sushi tray is no different either. I would be more sparse with the appetizers if you're in a party of four or less. That said, everything tastes amazing and high quality, and the presentation is always meticulously crafted. And the place is a nice blend of modern and traditional Japanese aestheics. The service is always solid, but it can take a while sometimes for them to get your food to your table (but honestly it's not really something that's always on them, since peak dinner hours are a thing). Definitely a place to check out for fans of Japanese food!
