This is a very nice spot to drop by while shopping in other stores nearby. The service is excellent and very quick, and the prices aren't too bad. It's also a nice spot to take a break with a beautiful patio with many plants and very nice seating. The indoor seating is also very nice. The view is a parking lot, which isn't the most aesthetic, but they make it work. Overall a great place to stop by if you're in the mood for a quick sweet treat or coffee.Parking: It's right next to an incredibly large parking lot dedicated to the veranda. Some would say there's too much parking.
I'm a Peet's coffee Stan and this was my first experience not feeling welcomed. It's about 6:30 am and I just came from the gym so my shorts are short but who cares. I make my usual order of large americano with 5 Splenda and half and half cream. I had to repeat the order because maybe the cashier was just waking up. After paying for my order I come back to get my large americano. I peer into the hole of the lid and see that it doesn't look full. I open to reveal a space of 1" from the top of the rim of the cup to the coffee! No cream. When I asked for more and cream i felt like I had farted because she looked disgusted that I asked. It is $5.40 for my drink. You wanna get mad because you didn't fill it up and didn't put cream in it? I have never had a problem with Peet's as I feel coffee people are generally cool and inclusive. I couldn't help but feel othered because of who I am. I know that's in my head but that's how I felt. I will continue to visit my favorite location in pleasant hill. I'm not coming in to get judged just give me my coffee babe.

Loved this place, it had the best scones I have ever tasted. Service was awesome. The employees loved my dog. They were so so sweet. Wish I lived closer I would go everyday. It Service as it should be excellent.

Very crowded. There was a rude man out front. Someone took my drink. The lady working fixed it but it was already 15 min of waiting plus I had to come back to get my remake because I was going to drop my car off for service. So I had to walk back to the shop after dropping my car off. Not good. This place has always had the worst vibes and angry customers. And staff obviously has a high turn over. They need better management in the store esp on the weekend. When you walk in, it's confusing where the lines starts. Someone needs to run this shop because it's lacking good leaders who are assertive. The young man working there barely speaks. So weird.
Great customer service, very friendly, good vibes most certainly will return very clean lobby and restrooms, easy to find location.

The ambiance was pleasant and cozy making it a comfortable place to relax and get some work done. The staff was friendly. The coffee itself was great, flavors were well-balanced. Although the pricing is slightly higher than desired. The coffee was great.

This Peet's is located on the edge of The Veranda plaza. This is a busy area/plaza, so parking may be hit or miss. There is not too much seating here and it is not the best spot to study - it is a bit busy and loud. My go to drinks at coffee shops is usually matcha, since I do not particularly like coffee. I did not really like their Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte or Matcha Frappe here, they had a weird aftertaste and do not taste like matcha to me. Their Iced Caramel Macchiato here is pretty good, but I have to be in a mood for it, since I am not a big fan of coffee.

I'm a Peets over Starbucks gal so I go to my fair share of Peets around the Bay. This one is across the plaza from Whole Foods and has tons of parking. This one is pretty well kept with very friendly staff! I was there for a couple of hours and the whole time I was there the staff greeted each customer as they came in and when they left. They also did a great job keeping this cafe pretty clean!
