The food is excellent with fresh local ingredients and the service is always warm and gracious. We particular enjoy their happy hour. The happy hour burger and fries is the best deal in town for the quality of the meal. Everything is nice. I highly recommended this restaurant.

I admire this place! They prepare superb dishes, they have a rich menu, The chief cook in that restaurant is a professional, I like a lot eating all their dishes. The food is always good, the attitude towards the visitors is helpful. I visit often this restaurant and I was never discontended. Highly recommended.

The heirloom tomato salad was one of the best I’ve enjoyed anywhere. We shared a Mediterranean appetizer plate which was really terrific. The sausage and pepperoni pizza was small but very tasty. The focaccia bread and spiced olive oil was the best we’ve had anywhere.

We have tried the Beef Dip/Steak Sandwich offerings at several restaurants in the East Bay and hands down, this is the best! The fresh bread soaks the au jus without falling apart and the beef (and gravy) are perfectly seasoned. Fries on the side and this is an ample serving to share.

I had the beet salad and tuna sandwich. The beet salad was yummy. The hard boiled egg and avocado seemed to mask the flavor of the tuna. I ended up just eating the tuna with a fork.

Wonderful food! The food was delicious! My husband really enjoyed the chocolate cake! The ribs were very tasty and the goat salad so good! We had a nice visit with chef Chevalier who came to say hello. Our waitress Christine was very friendly. The only negative about our evening was when this waitress/manager, Geisha, came to our table and told us that they hold tables for 2 hours and that basically we needed to leave. We had not even been there for 2 hrs and we were waiting on our dessert to arrive! So rude and so not customer service like. She sure doesn't deserve to be a manager!

We've been to Plate and Vine many times over the years. I took my wife on Valentines Day. I was very disappointed. We were seated right away but we were given menus that didn't include the specials they had told us about. After 15 minutes, I had to go and hunt down the hostess as no waitperson had come to our table. We were seated near the entrance and there was a constant cold breeze making it uncomfortable for dinner. The slow service continued...we had to ask for bread, refills of water, etc. We finally left when we saw the manager asking the table next to us to leave since they'd been there over two hours. They protested because they hadn't even been served the dessert they ordered. A true meltdown on what should have been a special night out.

Really Good Food

Food was ok. Too salty. Service was amazing though

I like the restaurant, they didn't ID the cheeses on the cheese plate. I had to ask. The booths could use narrower legs for table top, awkward to get legs past. I'll continue to be a customer, I like the place.

We had our company dinner at Plate & Vine last night, and boy was it awesome!! Geisha and her team (Danila especially) were so helpful in setting up for our party, keeping in constant contact with me during the process of choosing the menu and booking the room. My boyfriend and I ordered the steak and the salmon. Steak was AMAZING!! All the food was delicious and the drinks were great. Thanks for the A+ customer service and the food.
