My mother had ordered Chinese food from this restaurant. Unfortunately, my mother became massively sick with uncontrollable vomiting and stomach ache. She wasn’t able to eat a lot, but what she did eat made her sick. I saw that the rice looked old and refried. The food was soggy and not looking good. I hope they improve on their food quality and kitchen safety. I don’t like to make a bad review but I am very frustrated that my mom had to go through that.

The food was so authentic! My grandma was first generation American from China and used to cook at all of our holidays. This food was as good as hers! Large portions too. It is a low key environment but the proof is in the pudding. Thanks Red Dragon!

The food is ok for Chinese food. The portion is small for the price especially when you order to go.

This is a bars bar!! Good to go! Friendly. I like it! Small, not super loud. They have TV's for sports. Very cool, little joint. Oh, and there is a restaurant attached if you get hungry

Sorry to give one for atmosphere, but there is no atmosphere. It is just a very simple building outdated and is what it is. The food is great. Eggplant dish is spectacular.

It was very nice to have the bag tied in a way where we can feel safe about the food, but at the same time such a hassle to open the bag. In the end, I had to rip the bag open like a broken cabbage in order to get to my food. Got an order of crispy chicken with orange sauce. First impression was that this might taste good because there was lots of sauce all around the chicken and even some orange peels. Took a piece of chicken and bit into the meat. The chicken was really dry and the outer skin was not crispy , but rather very mushy. The flavor had a light sweetness texture, but didn't taste any orange. White rice had to be ordered separately and came in a small box. The rice was very mushy as if it had been soaked in water after already cooked for quite a while. For the price, rice was not very filling.

So this place is hit or miss. I have had it at a 5. I mean AMAZING. I have also had it at a 2....really yucky. I wish I knew which nights to go because It is ON when it is on. It is not cheap either.

This is by far the best Chinese food in the east bay. I travelled from Oakland to have lunch with a friend and their crispy orange chicken was calling our names. We dined in the bar area not the restaurant and got to enjoy conversation with locals and the owner chef. We always over-order because it is all so good and reheats well the next day since we had lots of leftovers.

Was in the area and saw this place. Ordered a few BBQ pork fried rice. Jaw dropped when I got the bill. It wasn't the standard take home Chinese boxes, but very small trays. Each ran about $12-13! Usually it's around $8-9 for a primarily rice entre in all the places I have visited. Food was okay, but portions were extremely small for the price. Left feeling ripped off. Won't be coming back. To the owner, your prices are insane! No wonder this place is empty.

Love it. I order the chicken without vegetables every time and its still so yummy and it comes so fast. Appreciate the good food :)

I moved in to a neighborhood very close to this restaurant, I read the reviews and for that reason never gave this restaurant a try. Today as I drove by I decided what the heck I'm gonna give it a chance. Unfortunately the ratings for this restaurant are true, the food was terrible. The chicken was literally like cardboard, something it tasted like it sat in the freezer for four years and then went into a deep fryer for 30 minutes. The fried rice was horrific, and the chow mein was barely edible. I don't cook a lot of Chinese food but I can't imagine it's too difficult to make decent Chinese food.
