Bad service. Blaze tonkotsu soup was watery and didn't have much flavor. The pork belly bun was ok.

Food is fine. Customer service is sometimes another story. I accidentally placed an order at the wrong location (Sunset Blvd. in LA). My mistake, one I did notice immediately after though and tried to call the location before the order could even be processed. Phone line was busy- okay, understandable, especially with it being a Friday. Figured they were busy & would try again... We tried calling every few minutes for about an hour, and the line remained busy. My partner managed to get through ONCE, but all he heard was some background noise before he was abruptly hung up on, which told us one thing-- someone was intentionally keeping the line open so the phone didn't have to be answered. We eventually made a separate order to the right location, but when asked about the other order at their sister location, they told us there was nothing they could do on their end & advised us to either call Silverlakes's helpline or fill out the form in the contact tab on their website. There was no helpline number that we could find, and filling out the form only gave us an error message when attempting to send one out. This isn't the first time we've had issues with a Silverlake restaurant. One time we sat down & the waiter had actually forgotten to place our order. We sat for over 30 minutes not realizing our food wasn't coming out. These issues always seem to stem from the fact that nearly every location is always busy, and it's likely most of them don't have enough staff to compensate the crowds. Again, food is fine. I'd say their broth alone is what has us going back each time. Though it is on the pricier side compared to other ramen places which is why I'm more than miffed we were unable to get someone on the phone at the Sunset Blvd location. I used to work in customer service. Phones are annoying to answer & I'm pretty sure the restaurant staff are likely overworked and/or underpaid. Trust me, I get it. However, all I wanted was was a quick refund before the food could even be made. (I should probably note that through trying to call this place that we discovered my phone was having network issues, making it difficult to make & probably receive calls. The first order was placed under my number so I don't know if anyone from the restaurant eventually attempted to call me. Regardless, it still doesn't derive from the fact that we did in fact try to call them ourselves multiple times (through my partner's phone) & that they shouldn't have purposely kept their line busy.)

This place is a rip. We ate on site and they brought me the wrong order. Then you have to put everything together yourself but there is still an option for tip which makes zero sense. The food itself was mediocre in quality. Potstickers were definitely frozen previously and the chickens quality was on par with dog food. The insulting thing was this whole experience was nearly $20 for slightly edible fast food. 2 stars because the tonkatsu broth was pretty good but never again!

Got the spicy chicken ramen... got thin 2 French fry cut chicken pieces, broth and noodles. Paid about $16. It will be our first and last time visiting this place Your better off making this stuff at home with a ramen packet.

Dont mind my name..Okay, Ive had many other ramen places (mainly out in San Jose) and I was craving some ramen after heading out of DnB. I was a bit skeptical of ordering it because what ramen has spinach and american brown mushroom and not woodears? I went for it since it was after 8pm. I ordered the classic ramen with pork and the soup base was absolutely bland, and it also makes you extremely thirsty. The meat was dry and most of them contains a lot of fat. Lastly, the noodles were obviously packaged and instant. PLEASE AVOID, I WISH I GOT A REFUND. ALSO, I ORDERED A SPRITE AND THAT WAS THE BEST DECISION TO ORDER FROM THEM LOL

The staff are okay but the food is beyond delectable. The broad noodles are great and the drink selection is perfect. If the staff were nicer and there was more seating this place would be a hotspot

Food was good but nothing to write home about. A bit pricey for what you get but understandable due to the area it is located.

We were here just to the the Churros with ice cream. Churros were good. Soft and the ice cream was a nice addition.

First of all, their staff is not keeping tables clean. They ask for tips but they hardly take care of their customers. Customers have to clean the table pretty much themselves. I will never come to this place ever again. It is not worth a price tag they charge. For such a small place, I would imagine it would be easy to keep it clean and look after. It looks like they have one person doing everything in there.I give it 3 STARS for dishes.

Saw some negative reviews but decided to give it a try since I wanted to order their rice bowl. Food arrived on time and fairly quick. We ordered all of their flavors: chicken karaage bowl, pork bowl and spicy tuna bowl. The chicken karaage was so good and crispy, perfect with the sauce and the right amount of rice. Tuna bowl was definitely a bit spicy but not too much spicy to what I expected. The pork bowl was a nice surprise as I didn't expect that much about that, still good even when you reheat it the following day. We didn't try any ramen since I don't want ramen delivered but we might have it next time we go to Veranda.

A new ramen fan, I don't have a lot of experience to compare to, yet what I can say is this place is delicious and has great options for carnivores and vegetarians. I loved the vegetable Raman bowl and my son loved the pork gyoza and original bowl with pork belly. It is a filling and healthy meal in a bowl! Bonus that you can sit outside and enjoy the water fountain view as well as listen to the music playing at the Veranda.

This is a no-frills Japanese take-out place. I have yet to try their ramen but so far I'm pretty happy with their generous karaage rice bowl. I am also a big fan of soboro and honestly thrilled with their ground chicken version because I'm cutting back on beef. It's a nice, quick and easy go-to lunch place.

The pork bun and gyoza pretty good appetizer! The pork bun was a good balance of savory and sweet. Gyoza are gyoza nothing special. The chicken karaage was Bomb. Pretty good serving and with the sauce on top was very flavorful. And if your looking for a spicy ramen the blaze is a good one to pick. Silver lake my go to quick ramen spot!

I have this server Kate D who is so mean!!! I already told her I don't need the receipt and she came all the way to our table throwing her attitude saying THIS IS YOUR NUMBER. She doesn't even want to give napkins. Customer service is horrible!!!

Silverlake Ramen is a small kiosk located in the Veranda Shopping Plaza near the theater. It has a few small tables for you to enjoy outdoor dining. The tables are not serviced between customers, in case you are covid conscious. Alternatively, the ramen is packed in such a way that you could easily take it to go. In addition to ramen, they serve rice bowls, churros and ice cream, and fries. On a base level, I usually assess ramen on 3 things: noodle (texture), broth (flavor), chasu (texture, flavor) and, if available, onsen egg (runniness, flavor). I ordered the classic with pork belly and, in short, the ramen is not good. I think due to the nature of Silverlake - "fast food" equivalent of ramen" - the noodles are packed in a to-go bowl separated from the broth. The noodles were compressed into the bowl, making them stick together like a dense noodle brick. The noodles were thin and did not have a high QQ score. The broth was plain. That's fine though, because as I said this is a fast food equivalent of ramen and it does come out quickly. Because of this, I don't imagine they have the time to brew the stock to pull out a ton of flavor. The egg was a bit more than soft boiled but not yet medium boiled. I prefer my yolks runny or gel-like in texture. You only get one half egg per bowl. The egg is not marinated so not much flavor outside of the broth. The pork belly was overcooked and dry. The flavor simply was not there. I couldn't even make myself finish my food as it was really not palatable and I am generally particular about how I like my ramen. I just ate enough so I wouldn't be hungry. Also because this bowl costs ~$15-17, which is close to how much I would spend at a legit sit-down ramen spot, I didn't find this place to offer good value. My friends also did not finish their food. We treated this as quick pit stop before catching a movie nearby. I would not come here again. This place gets plus points for having fast service, convenience, and offering outdoor seating.
