Went to tasty Szechuan today its is not 4.8 stars more like 2. Our rice and broccoli beef, came out first and they were lukewarm. The rice had no green onions nor eggs, the glazed ribs were little knuckles. Don't waste your money

Delicious dishes and generous portions, Tasty Szechuan is a great place for families.

Good, solid neighborhood restaurant with Chinese cuisine. The staff were friendly, and provided me with tea and shelled peanuts while I waited for my pick up order. There is a wide selection of items to choose from, and our order of a rice dish, noodle dish, salt/pepper ribs and cucumber salad was very good. I was there on a Saturday night, and even though the restaurant was well attended, my order came out very quickly. I would recommend this this restaurant :)

Fridge was completely empty. Wanted to have Chinese food for takeout and settled on Tasty Szechuan. Our online order was fulfilled in around 25 minutes. Steamed Sole Fillets with Tofu and Chilies (剁椒鱼片) was pipping hot when we unwrapped it: meticulously cling-wrapped and covered by aluminium foil, beautifully laid out in a large aluminium pan. The fillets (swai) were shiny, with smooth texture, not too salty and had a great mouthfeel especially when paired with dashes of chili/bean paste (no ma) toppings. The gravy/sauce was neutral tasting, quite oily. Tofu underneath the fish was soft (not the silky variety). Enjoyed napa cabbage slices underneath as well. Would have preferred the dish to have more spice elements to it. Salt Pepper fish fillet (with plenty of garlic) was good sized, but lacked crispness (can be rectified with a stint in oven). The staffs (and owner) were very friendly during pickup and reminded me to be careful with the liquid in the container.

I love the flavor of the food and it's not salty almost like home cooking The owner and the server is also very friendly and knowledgeable with my orders. Will be back again to try the other dishes

Stopped in for lunch and very impressed by everything. Excellent quality food, great service and really nice restaurant. Both the owner and his wife came by several times to make sure all was OK. Now definitely our go to Chinese food place!

New Szechuan restaurant in Walnut Creek / Concord area that could satisfy our cravings for Mala dry hotpot. You can pick what you want for your dry pot and we love that. Everything was good and not too oily as usual Szechuan food. This is their second location after the first one in Hayward. On top of food, the owners were awesome and gave us one of the best service. You can choose to see a Mandarin menu if needed.

Hands down the best/authentic Sichuan restaurant in Walnut Creek/Concord/pleasant hill area! We have tried their spicy chicken wings 香辣鸡翅 and deep fried pork intestines 香辣肥肠. Both are very good and very spicy. I think I can handle some spicy food but it is a little bit too much for me, so please be mindful when you order.

Service was amazing and quick and the ambiance was great. The dry pot has a lot of great flavors and was not too spicy. There is a bit of numbing spice to the pot but it was not overwhelming. The beef tendon noodle soup was delicious. The noodles had a nice bounce and chew to them while the beef was tender. The wonton in chili oil was nice and juicy on the inside. To me the there wasn't enough spice to them but still good overall

The best Szechuan i've ever had! The staff were friendly, the vibes felt authentic, and the foods were excellent! I've been here 3 times and the experiences are consistent. I ordered lamb cumin, the watermelon soup, the fish and the chicken wing. They are all good and delicious!

The most authentic Sichuan restaurant in Conk, a small town in Beiwan. The color of the entire restaurant is very warm and fashionable. Green chairs and marble texture tables. Enjoy delicious food while pleasing the eyes. Everyone here is very welcoming And they are patient. If they are free, they will personally ask you how you feel about the dishes and chat with them cordially, making you feel at home. This is a restaurant that you want to go back to again.Parking: Very convenient parking locationKid-friendliness: Suitable for children
