Been here a couple times to try different rice rolls. The shrimp one was my favorite. Service can depend on how busy they are.

They have a large selection of rice noodles, more than other restaurants. The rice noodles are very smooth and light. They also have a good variety of congee which was also very good. Service is excellent and there is plenty of parking.

Service was kinda slow even though it wasn’t packed. Food lacked flavor. First and last time coming here. Really wanted to love it here. Place was nice and clean.

Nice venue they have, very clean and nice room. Their Wonton Soup and Siu Mai was good but their chicken feet was a surprise from what a regular dim sum place has but other than that it's great.

it has a good selection of different types of rice rolls and congee. The rice noodle was very light and smooth. The pork in ours was very tender and it came with lettuce in it which was different from other places. The congee was very smooth and had lots of meat in it. All the food came out very hot.

Came in today to try their food. We got the congee sampler that had eggs, fish, shrimp, and bbq pork, also got a cheung fun with shrimp and pork and lastly got the har-gow. I think the best value would be the congee with a little bit of everything in it. It was nicely salted and had a lot of flavor. The cheung fun as ok, you can taste a lot of the ingredients but for a better value, the congee was better. The har-gow was only so-so. Service was ok, they got our order but it does take some time to make (20 minutes). Ambiance was clean, lots of Chinese people came in so we knew it was the right place . Other than that, give it a shot!

Good food. Small portions. Noodle bowl is a lot smaller than what I'm used to. Some nearby noodles are larger for the same price. Rice noodles hardly had beef in them.

What a wonderful find!! The food is delicious very much like Hong Kong style. The congee was delicious and has good consistency. The churn fen was tender and fresh. Yum! The beef chow fun seasoning was on a lighter side, and was very tasty. Definitely will be back again! Oh and the wonton noodles are perfect. You won't be disappointed. . Service was great, attentive and food came out fast. Family and I enjoyed a late lunch on a weekday got seated immediately no waiting.

Came for brunch on a weekday and service was quick and parking is easy to find. They took our order quickly and food came out fast. The rice noodle rolls were tasty! We also ordered steamed bbq pork buns and chow fun and both were just ok. I am glad there is a place with decent rice noodle rolls close by. And their variety is large.

Yin Ji Chang Fen is the newest addition to the Park & Shop plaza. There is plenty of parking around so that shouldn't be a problem. The restaurant is clean and the staff is polite but they don't come and check on you as much. They usually come to the table when you are going to order, or to give you the food or check. This is not really a problem for me but I think worth to point out. Now for the food, I will say the dishes I love from here are a 5/5. This has become one of my favorite places in the area. These are the dishes I've tried and the ones I recommend. -The beef congee with raw egg 5/5. This dish is my favorite here! It is such a simple dish but the flavor is delicious, and it is perfect during a cold day. I always make sure to order this when I come here. -Marinated shrimp and beef rice noodle roll 5/5. I was impressed by how good this was! It comes with a lot of beef plus shrimp. It's definitely a must try. -Shrimp noodle roll 4/5. We first tried this one and we loved it until we had the beef and shrimp one. It doesn't come with a lot of shrimp but the flavor is good. If you only want shrimp, this is a good one. -Dough Sticks 5/5. This is good for your congee. It is a fried doughnut. -Shrimp wonton noodle soup 3/5. This was not my favorite dish. I thought it was a bit bland but my husband loved it! I believe it is a preference, it was just not for me. -Shui Mai 4/5. It's pretty simple yet flavorful just like any Shui Mai. We usually get it just keep in mind it is a bit on the smaller size though. -Shrimp Dumpling 3/5. I did not like the flavor of these. They tasted a bit like store bought. -Beef fried rice 5/5. This was a really good dish!!! It had a lot of flavor. Definitely recommend. -Garlic fried wings 5/5. This was surprisingly good! The wings are small but the flavor is good! Overall this restaurant has some delicious dishes and some ok ones. It is worth trying!!! Find the dishes you love here, you will keep coming back!

I've been to their other location in Pleasanton but it's good to have a new location closer to my parents. We came on a Tuesday afternoon and there was no wait. It's located in a medium size shopping plaza so there is no shortage of parking spots. My parents each order a rice roll and I got the marinated beef rice roll. We ordered the Laiwan style assorted congee to be shared between the 3 of us. There was enough food even though we didn't go crazy with the ordering. My parents both liked their rice roll. The skin is thin and the meat was marinated well. My only complaint would be it's not hot enough as my rice roll was just lukewarm. They serve us complimentary tea. The Laiwan style porridge was just ok. The peanuts were a bit hard and the bbq pork didn't look very appealing; however, the texture of the porridge is perfect. Service was average. After ordering, it didn't take too long for food to come out but we had to flag the wait staff to get our check at the end. Clean and simple decor which makes it a good spot to have breakfast or brunch or a late lunch with family and friends. This is probably not a proper spot to take a date though. Cost was reasonable, 3 rice rolls and a bowl of porridge that was sufficient to be shared between 3 adults, came out to be around $40.

Food contained too much MSG and the atmosphere was stuffy. Prices were on the higher side for what you got. My friend got sick after inhaling some foreign particle while we were eating. I imagine there is no proper air circulation.
