I've been coming here for years and it was my first time back in a few months. The prices were raised by almost $2 in the past year, even with inflation that doesn't really add up. I love their ceviche here and their Taco al Gobernador. This place used to be 5 stars for me, but my recent visit was a little off. I was able to overlook the increased prices, but what triggered me was the fact that though there are 3 workers, only one of them was able to ring me up and take my order?? I mean I've been working for the food service industry for a while now and it makes no sense to me why the two other girls working there aren't allowed to take someone's order at the cash register? (I understand if it was a traditional sit down restaurant, I would assume they're just not servers, but not for this one) The man taking my order is pretty nice, but he wasn't very attentive with listening. I was not speaking softly so I am not sure how he messed up my order twice. I was able to overlook the mess up in tacos, sure. But I asked for extra sauce which he says he would need to charge me extra, I said it's fine and I was going to pay for it anyways so I asked for 3 extra sauces at 25 cents each, he only gave me 1. At that point, I just left because he seemed to be in a rush with only 2 other tables. Food is still really good, that would be a 5/5 from me. Just the increase in prices and insincerity from the male worker that threw me off.

Food was not good got the shrimp enchiladas that had no flavor the beans wear gross. Everything seemed premade and warmed in the microwave. Should of known it wasn't going to be good when only one person was in the restaurant not worth the money. Nice place tho

I've been to this place a few times over the past year or so (thanks Mr. Bigs Menu for the recommendation) and had noticed the service seemed to start lacking over time.Anyway, after a while of not going, I went with my family last Sunday and was pleasantly surprised by the renewed service and the overall atmosphere. I didn't get his name but thanks to our waiter (I think he's new there) who was very attentive to all our orders (even my kid's 100 questions about the menu) and quick to get food to our table. Great service, authentic Mexican food (I had the molcajete of course), and even the music was on point with the atmosphere. Will definitely be back to try more delicious plates soon.

Waitress was nice and attentive. Food presentation was large and hot. Unfortunately the albondigas and caldo de res were very greasy. Just couldn't finish it. Maybe it was a bad batch? Try it for yourself and find out. Music was low matched the restaurant.

The place is unassuming, but the food was sooo good! We tried 10 dishes and we all were very pleased about portion sizes, flavors, and visual presentation was on point!

I have only tried the Menudo, but it was so so good. I was hungover so you know it hit the spot. They have a black chili paste that is very spicy. But the spicier the better. I've gotta try more of their food.

Camarones Marea are delicious & the bacon was crispy. I also had the Verde Bean & Cheese burrito. The Verde was very tasty. Definitely be back to give something else a try.

First time. I ordered Horchata (best I ever had!), chillaquilles with carne asada, eggs, beans and rice. Wife ordered bacon wrapped shrimp with beans and rice. My wife is an excellent Mexican cook....and she said the food was awesome! I loved it and I'm picky and don't usually go to Mexican establishments cause it's hard to beat wines cooking but this was delicious with nice and attentive customer service. Yes, it's pricey but well worth it. I'll be back soon with my wife and adult kids. so happy I discovered this place.

This place is overpriced and it's not even that nice. The food also tastes okay. I wouldn't go back again.

Food is flavorful, it has the Mexican taste living in it. Service feels like you're back in Mexico arriving to the local restaurant for breakfast lunch or dinner. Small, full of service and love to the customer. Ambiance is lively, music and video playing in background, server is in such a good mood that it makes you feel happy to even eat here! I'm usually a green Chilaquiles kinda girl but their red ones are the !! Seriously !!
