Stepping into Bawarchi Tandoori Halal Restaurant was an absolute treat for my taste buds and a warm embrace for my soul. Tucked inside a grocery store, this hidden gem offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere that’s as unique as its location. The moment you enter, you're greeted by the wonderful aroma of spices and the welcoming smiles of the people from Hyderabad who run this charming eatery.I had the pleasure of trying their Nihari, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The flavors were rich, the meat tender, and the spices perfectly balanced - a true testament to the authentic Hyderabadi cuisine they're serving. Every bite took me on a journey to the streets of Hyderabad, and I savored every moment of it.But the delights didn’t stop at Nihari. The kababs were a revelation - juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It's evident that everything they serve is halal, reassuring us of the quality and care they put into their food. What makes Bawarchi Tandoori not just a restaurant but an experience, are the people behind it. Their warmth, hospitality, and genuine smiles make you feel right at home. They’re not just serving food; they’re sharing a piece of their culture, and it’s an honor to partake in it.

The chicken biryani was not good. The chicken kahari was pretty good with a lot of flavors but there was more bones than the chicken. It was pretty spicy but good.

Food was good but there was no proper place to sit and eat, if you want catering then I recommend this place

The food is combination of pakistani style and Indian which makes it good . It’s inside grocery store so sitting is not proper .

Awesome grocery store! I am 99 percent sure the owner is the same as the super American farmers market which got closed last year in Riverside

[NOTE: It is hidden inside the C-Market.] My husband is a sucker for Indian food. I kid you not, he tried the food there this week and had it 3 days back to back to back. That tells you how much he likes it. Anyway, I went to pick up chicken biryani from there yesterday. For one, that definitely has to be their most popular menu item. For $12.99, the quantity and quality of the biryani looked amazing. My husband loved it and said it was one of the BEST biryanis he has ever had. The people working there were also very nice and provided extra chutney on the side with the biryani. There's no better feeling when I see that my husband is enjoying dinner. I love little hidden treasures like this. I know my husband will continue going back. Thank You !!!

Food was just okay, not excellent in my opinion. I was disappointed because it was more expensive than I'd expect for such a place and not worth the experience. I paid $45 before tax for two entrees for 2 people. It's approximately $16 per small entree, and all sides, including rice and bread is separate, and the portions aren't massive. I took the food home & just felt robbed.

Usually Food is good here, this time I went for the Breakfast, I heard that they started serving Cholay Puri on weekends for breakfast, Cholay (chickpea Curry) wasn't very good, Potato which they also serve with the Puri was good, Nihari was okay, not great, I had better Nihari her before, as usual the meat was lacking in the Nihari, Gola kabobs were the best, Puri they were bringing looks like not coming directly from the Karhai, they made ahead of time and bringing out time to time, don't expect any service there, they use the cheapest paper plates, actually they use the Styrofoam plates and the cheapest plastic spoons available in the market, this place is good of you want to take out and eat at home, they barely have four tables for eat in customers, place is dirty, don't take your guests there.

Delicious, best chicken tikka masala I’ve had in the city. Garlic naan, fresh and satisfying. Chicken biryani is spicy, and very tasty.

If you want some authentic Pakistani curries and food… this is the spot you need to visit! It’s in a ethnic grocery store, so don’t expect a beautiful setting for a restaurant, but they do have several tables out and chairs for you to sit and dine. The service is decent, but admittedly, we were there for the food, so we didn’t care much about the venue or service… it actually reminded us of the typical joint you’d dine at in Pakistan! They are primarily a catering business and you can order what they’re making for their catering business as specials for the day, as long as they have more to serve. Aside from that, they have a menu with biryani dishes, curries, kabobs, naan, etc.I enjoyed many items, from their beef pulao to their nahari and beef gola kabob, as well as other items and all were excellent!I highly recommend stopping in here!

It's inside the C-Town Farmer's Market -- all the way in the back next to the meats. Several tables to eat at inside there. Flavors and spice weren't bad on the chicken karahi. The chicken was also cooked perfectly -- super tender. Beef nihari was like spicy brown gravy. Food wasn't very hot unfortunately. Will have to be back to try more food.
