My husband and I had a great dinner at Brigantine. Our server, Fernando, was really kind and helpful with recommendations - along with suggestions on places to visit while in San Diego. All of the food that we ordered was great. The jumbo crab cake was our all time favorite! We also had the grilled oysters, the chopped chicken salad, and the blackened swordfish. Everything was fantastic!

We stopped in here for a quick fuel up after a few hours on the beach. The table Tuesday menu combined with the happy hour menu made for an affordable afternoon snack. We enjoyed the potato skins, artichoke fitters, and swordfish taco. The local beer was also delicious and the brig margarita was delicious and a great value.

Loved the half baked oyster. We tried a bunch of other items but they all felt a little too greasy/heavy for us and did not hit the spot. Service, atmosphere and location are great for a brunch.
Beautiful location to eat! Food was on the pricier side, but we knew that going in. We were disappointed to hear another server relay specials to a table that was seated behind us, when we were halfway through our meal. Especially with some of the specials we heard…had I known about them, I would have ordered one of the specials I had heard.I enjoyed the swordfish my husband got more than the macadamia crusted mahi, but bother were good!

The food was very good. Ashley, the check in / Maître d, was great in helping ensure my brother didn't pay and I got to treat him. Great job on selecting/ training staff who can have fun and interact so well with guests!

Over this place, totally gone downhill. Meals are always missing ingredients. The only mainstay is the calamari tbh.

Ate there on March 14, 2024. $120. for two mid-priced entrees, an appetizer, one salad and a beer. Staff was nice, but very slow service. No water view. The patio is on a busy sidewalk with homeless people seated on a park bench adjacent. We both got food poisoning and had diarrhea all night. Won't return.
Excellent choice a seafood. Swordfish was superb.
