I recommend the Sand Dabs and Trout Amandine for the best value for your money. They are delicious and satisfy a hungry appetite. If you order the cioppino, depending on the day, you may have to order something else or ask for more bread. Overall, great ambience, service and food. Also Jim, the manager, is customer focused and wants to ensure every patron is happy with their experience.

I had the lobster roll, it was very fresh and tasty. Our server was very professional and friendly and the restaurant had a great view of the bay.

What a lovely place to have lunch or a nice get together with the family and friends. Everyone that works there is so accommodating and professional - our time spent dining at Bluewater was so enjoyable. Hats off to Angie (hostess), Harvey (waiter) and Damien (busboy) as each person's work ethic was the icing on our seafood dinner cake. Ha! We thought the food was delicious (We had the miso sea bass and Bouillabaisse). I would suggest getting a different kind of green bean as the side vegetable for the fish. The green beans or haricot verts were stringy and unenjoyable. What was really enjoyable were our drinks! The Mai Tai and Manhattan we ordered was top-notch - kudos to the bartender!

Great coast ambience. We only went for beers and appetizers. We loved everything. Wanted to stop in a historic/ coast vibe spot and we loved it.

Food was great! Came here for New Years- Friend and I may have gotten food poisoning from the amount of shellfish consumed but nonetheless was delicious

We had an excellent meal here last September, but our most recent experience was completely different -- service, food, and ambience were mediocre at best. Service was slow. Crab dip was not heated all the way through. Fish was overly breaded and soggy. Server kept referring to us as "kids." (We're in our 60s). Staff used brooms to sweep the carpet around us while we ate, kicking up dust. (How about using a carpet sweeper/vacuum before opening or after the restaurant closes?) Will not be returning.

Such a lovely spot away from Orange Ave crowds. We sat outside, so spacious, no rushing. Such a better option than Brigantine. We had such a lovely lunch. Highly recommend

Food was cooked well. The appetizer was fine, too much bacon and not enough sauce. It didn't really match the description on the menu. Meals ordered were fine, not amazing. Side dishes were terrible. Didn't eat them. We had wanted to order dessert but didn't want to pay those prices and be disappointed with that as well. So we walked to another restaurant close by and ordered takeout dessert there. Wait staff was nice. Food came out quickly.

The food was great. Fish was very fresh. Noise level was high and difficult to carry on conversations. But I have seen much worse. Service was excellent. Did I mention food was excellent. I had the Rock fish wife had sand dabs. Both local fish. Highly recommend either.

This was our anniversary dinner celebration. Pros: Excellent host and waiter. Very attentive to our needs. Calamari, Salmon and New York Steak were all delicious We requested a high top reservation via open table. We had a nice view of the marina. The food was reasonably priced. I would probably go back again. Cons: The sourdough bread was so hard that it was difficult to chew. Although we indicated that we were celebrating an anniversary there was nothing to celebrate it. And small desert would have been nice. The heater was extremely hot that couldn't be lowered. We had it turned off and it was a lot better Overall 9/10 and would definitely recommend.

The service here was impeccable ! Our server was so attentive without being overbearing. : ) The scallops dish....Amazing!!!

What a wonderful experience. We went for lunch. Had a great table at the window on a beautiful Coronado day. Our server was attentive and efficient. Lunch was delicious. It's not cheap though... it is on the bright side fresh yummy seafood and that comes with a price.

I've been to a few different Bluewater Grill locations and I'm happy to say the quality has been pretty consistent! This location is located on Glorietta Bay in the historic Hotel Del Coronado Boathouse with water views! I tried the mixed New Amsterdam Clam chowder with the Manhattan chowder. Personally the tomato base of the manhattan chowder was a little overpowering, I'll be sticking with the regular clam chowder! The crab cakes could have been slightly bigger but overall all the food was fresh and tasted great! New England Clam Chowder 9/10 Caesar Salad 8/10 France's Bouillabaisse 8/10 Italy's Cioppino 8/10 Gemelli pasta with shrimp and scallops 8/10 Crab cakes 9/10 Java mud pie 7.5/10

Food and service is always excellent. Jake was our server and he has a great attitude and ever so pleasant and efficient. We often ask to be seated upstairs or outside, when the weather is pleasant. The downstairs is deafeningly loud! Upstairs can be loud as they often place large parties and children up there. Unfortunately that was the case last night on both counts. We were able to move to the other side of the room away from the large party with loud kids but it was still a bit noisy. Suffers people go during the week!
