The food was delicious…worth the wait!Scallops, halibut, and truffle pasta all get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Staff was super friendly and incredibly accommodating- made my kiddo a grilled cheese (off the menu) that she declared was “the best, ever!”

If the service wasn’t so good I’d give this 1 star all day. The drinks were poorer by a rookie, the swordfish was overcooked, the truffle pasta was wet and bland. Thank god I live near by so I can salvage this night.

Our experience at Crown Landing for dinner was top notch. The service was excellent and all employees were so kind and friendly. We enjoyed the excellent Coronado Clam Chowder (it has jalapeños but not enough to create heat), beatifully presented Roasted Beet Salad, and bread to begin with. For our entrees, we chose the scallops and short rib stroganoff. The seared scallops were served on some asparagus with some pancetta and potato puree. It was about as good as scallops get. The stroganoff was so savory. It was shredded short rib beef served on chewy housemade casarecce pasta with a dollop of sour cream, and mushrooms and pearl onions. Probably the best I've had. We highly recommend this restaurant at least once, especially during a stay at the Loew's Coronado resort.

Ate there last night while we were staying at Lowe's. My sister had the chicken and I had the Salmon with clam chowder before dinner! The salmon was so fishy tasting I couldn't eat it. My sister ended up having food poisoning from her chicken dinner which was very chewy. What a waste of 200 plus dollars and a weekend to have her up all night coming out both ends!! What a disappointment. We advised the front desk to tell management so that they would be more cautious in the future.

We ate here twice for dinner and once for breakfast during our stay. Recommend the steak frita, scallops, and rigatoni. For breakfast, the corned beef and hash as well as the omelet were fantastic. Service was always very friendly and welcoming. The food came out timely and everything was great! Looking forward to visiting again in the summer and enjoying dinner and breakfast on the beautiful patio!

Happy New Year! My fiance saw this on Resy and thought it would be great! I got two Ds- disappointment and diarrhea!!!!! The truffle pasta had NO truffle and barely any cheese. It was milky pasta with mushrooms. I had to ask for pecorino and salt and pepper to salvage it…$27 I think not. My beau had the seafood stew and the seafood was NOT seasoned at all. He said the broth tasted like they took a cup of sea water and mixed it with tomato paste. They had the nerve to present it by pouring the half of cup over the seafood at the table!!!! Lol and for $55….I think not. Look I am from Chicago and I know food. This wasn’t it. One star cause the waitress was nice and the wine was decent. Save your time and money- don’t do it.

Christmas dinner. Staff was very nice. However, the description of the food on the menu did not match what we got. Not to mention the quality of food was subpar. Not what you would expect from their establishment. I wanted our family to go out to eat to avoid cooking and cleaning. I wish we would’ve stayed home. 4 of us ended up sick after dinner. I’m not sure what has changed with Crown Landing, but they should reevaluate their chef, menu and quality of food they’re serving. I used to think the world of them but never will I visit again or recommend them. It’s really too bad because they used to be top notch.

Went for Xmas buffet. All of our steaks came out bloody red and about 2oz and lobster tail same very tiny and terrible flavor and a small scoop of mash potatoes no flavor even my 5yr old neice said, you know makes mash potatoes taste good, is some butter, and 2 pieces of Asparagus. We had to ask for salt and pepper shakers a few times as our food gets cold. I had to ask for A1 steak 3 times before I got it. The hen is not a hen its a very dry and tasteless chicken breast. The all you can eat sides were very simple. They kept running out of things like shrimp n lemons etc. Desert bar ran out of vanilla icecream and cream carmel and cannolis. The excuse was its the end of the night, so than why charge 17 people regular price of $100 if the others got everything we paid for and didnt get what everyone else got. We had to gather our own dishes in a pile the entire time and go look for the waiter or anyone to remove em and we would keep having to ask for water. One waiter waiting on 17 people. All of our food didn't come out at the same time and we all had to send back our steaks to cook them more on top of that, by the time they came back we were so frustrated didnt eat em, half of us were done eating and the other half are still waiting on our food that didn't come out all at once from the get go. That many people at the table they should of had at least two servers bringing out all of our dinners at the same time so our family can enjoy eating our Xmas dinner together!! Service was terrible and food was bad!!!! Not worth $100 not even half of that. Manger gave us 20% off. Being 6 steaks dinners and 3 dry so called hen dinners weren't eating and most of their desert was out and having to clean our own table n begging for water the entire time!!! And top it all a 22% tip is added to our bill for that horrible service and food!!!!

We had a lovely time at this restaurant for dinner and breakfast. I will start with the service. Erika did a fantastic job in all areas. She knew her menu and was able to answer all questions for both dinner and breakfast. All of the people at this hotel (Lowes Coronado) were really good and made us feel special. We had scallops, cauliflower puree and asparagus for our main dinner. The scallops were cooked just a little over but were still tasty. The French onion soup was one of the best I have had. The broth was so rich and had a deep flavor. It was not too salty and had a nice balance of onions, bread and cheese. For breakfast we had the bagel, cream cheese and smoked salmon (two times). The bagels were lightly toasted. The cream cheese had bits of green onion that were perfect. The salmon was plentiful, fresh and tender. It was served with capers, sliced red tomatoes, red onion and lettuce. The only comment I have is that the first time there was plenty if cream cheese and the second time there was not enough. Not sure if it makes a difference but the second time was room service and the first time was in the restaurant. Drinks were good. Great wine choice too.

Service was great. Location/ambiance were great. Food was ok. Everything tasted good, but the menu is super limited and for some reason nearly every dish had truffle-something.

I'd give it 0 if I could and it's what it deserves. We never saw a waiter at all. The hostess said she would be right back with a high chair and we never saw her again. Everyone around us had the same experience. When we told the hostess we were leaving she didnt seem to really care. A hotel this nice can't even afford enough waiters to make sure people can order food. I would recommend going to the continental breakfast at a holiday Inn because at least you'll get food there.

The food here was surprisingly delicious. We are found New Hampshire and haven’t found seafood or clam chowder that compares or even come close. This was even better than New Hampshire. .
