Don't be intimidated with the location of the shop. This is my go to whenever visiting the area. Their sandwiches are absolutely delicious!! My favorite is the El Diablo but you really can't go wrong with anything you choose. Lines can get long but service is fast and friendly. Highly recommend

The sandwiches here are good. I recommend stopping in if you're on the island. There's usually a line but it moves fast. Service is good. The sandwich shop is located in a liquor store, but you don't need to walk all the way to the other side to find the deli counter (like some other sandwich shops I have been to). For me, that's a plus.

Park Place is a classic Coronado stop. They have such a huge selection of wine, beer, hard spirits and alcohol. They have something for everyone, including an impressive selection of energy drinks to choose from. This is the perfect place to to stop on the way to the beach! You can get all the supplies you need including great sandwiches that are fresh made.There is wheelchair accessible parking right up front and a ramp to make it easy to get inside. Limited parking spots in front. However there is lots of street parking around the area, so usually you can find something in walking distance.If you are a wine or hard spirit enthusiast, they really have a big selection. You will not be disappointed. There is also a huge selection of snacks for something quick. Stop by, you will find everything you need.
best sandwiches in coronado. the big kahuna is phenomenal and enough for two meals. i would always order online and pick up, so i can't really attest to the service of the employees beyond that - but it was always ready on time and everyone was friendly.
