Okay-ish pricey gelato (tiramisu flavor was icy instead of creamy, the popsicles were good), served by sour faced employees, and rudely asked to tip on top of that. Agree that this is a tourist trap.

The reward for waiting is great. Don't miss the joy of imagining while waiting in line. Don't look at it as a small ice cream shop. It's really good. It was so cold, but I couldn't resist the temptation. I strongly recommend you to taste it once.

Cute little gelato shop inside the Hotel Del. It was convenient and nice to have a cold treat after walking along the beach.Small selection of gelatos and a little pricey. I got the banana gelato to try something different. The popsicles were good but also a little pricey at $8 each.

The lemon pound cake scoop was to die for. The strawberries and crème along with the Banana Nutella popsicles were the icing on the cake! Chiefs kiss! The staff was also so professional and kind. Thank you!Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly staff and locationWheelchair accessibility: No stairs to get to the shop or in the shop.

They won’t let you try the ice cream, not one sample. Don’t worry the ice cream attendant will describe the flavor to you. For instance the lemon pound cake was more pound cake…. But of course that’s relative to taste. Also please be aware that is you don’t know the name for popsicles in Spanish you will be shamed like the nice lady behind me who wanted to know the price of the popsicles but didn’t realize they were listed under their Spanish name.

Growing up I used to come to Moo Time Creamery at the Del. It was fun, yummy and inviting. This new place was beyond sub par. The prices were extremely high which I’m not opposed to paying for a quality product but this was not that. The worker who served us was rude & the gelato was not cream or tasty and felt very cheap. Very dissatisfied.

Super long line for average tasting ice cream / gelato. The prices are outrageous. We paid about $50 for 4 scoops in 3 cones!!!! I felt ripped off. Worst part was that it didn’t taste super great to warrant that price. It’s the price of being in Coronado.Vegetarian options: It’s ice cream = vegetarian right?Parking: Street parking or be prepared to pay a lot at the hotelKid-friendliness: Absolutely kid-friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Would be hard to navigate with a wheelchair m, but doable.

Ice cream is ok, nothing special, it’s very expensive and you can’t even have a taste of the few flavors. For $8+ a cup, tasting one of the 8 available flavors should be the minimum.

It’s alright ice cream, bad service (no samples for $8 ice cream) and extremely high prices. Avoid.

This is a cute convenient ice cream shop if you are at the Del. The ice cream honestly isn’t anything special I think there’s better but it was good, not great: the staff are very nice. the prices are what makes this only a 3 star. $36 for 2 treats but you pay for the experience at the Del. For a one time experience totally go for it, but there’s much better in town for much less.

We got Popsicle, 2 scope on cone and 2 scoop in cup. They tasted OK. It is very pricy for what it was. Staff were very friendly.

Gelato is icy and not creamy- tastes like store bought ice cream. No sampling and very expensive. Definitely worth it walking into town for yummy gelato!

I was excited to visit Mootime Creamery after a delightful afternoon exploring Hotel Del Coronado with my wife and our 2-year-old daughter. Sadly, our enthusiasm quickly turned to disappointment upon discovering that Mootime Creamery was no longer there. It appeared to have been replaced by Sundaes at The Del. Hoping for a similar ice cream experience, we decided to give their offerings a try. Unfortunately, the ice cream at Sundaes at The Del fell short of our expectations. We ordered two scoops, an Italian cookie and a Caramel Apple Cheesecake, but both lacked the delightful flavors we remember from Mootime. Not only was the taste underwhelming, but the prices seemed excessive. However, there was a shining moment amidst our disappointment - the Strawberry Popsicle with condensed milk. This delightful treat was a burst of flavorful bliss. While I may return to Sundaes at The Del in the future to explore their other offerings, it is a shame that Mootime Creamery is no longer available.

I got lured in by the array of refreshing looking popsicles. The Strawberry kiwi popsicle, though probably the most expensive popsicle I’ve ever had was also the most delicious!
