The Whiteside pizza was excellent, garlicky and the ricotta cheese was a nice creamy addition.

A nice little spot in Coronado. Employees were great. I ordered a Sicilian sausage and pepper pizza, pizza knots, an Italian chopped salad. Everything was very good. I think in the future I will ask for extra cheese and garbanzo beans in the salad, just because I like them so much. Refillable soft drinks are available, you just have to go to them to refill which was not a problem at all.

We had a big salad and a BIG pizza and some garlic knots. The salad and pizza were delicious, can’t wait to go back! The garlic knots were having an off night, I guess. They cooked them up twice and they still didn’t have enough garlic or texture. They were helpful and remade them so A for effort! Very nice location, great spot for people watching while waiting for our food. It was just before Christmas so the square was will decorated and full of people. Take a big appetite and a few friends to help you eat the giant pie! So good.

The good things: Size of pizza, value for money, vibe of the space. The not-so-good things: Pizza is overbaked + their “Sicilian” is like eating a thick piece of cardboard without enough substance. Garlic pizza knots were oddly sweet, and that sweetness overpowered the jalapeño, pepperoni, AND the garlic.Additionally, the Tabasco sauce on the table was watered down and consequently inedible as a topping. The location of this spot is incredible, but the quality of the pizza? Not so much.

Phone I visited on all day Tuesday happy hour. I got a couple of their menu specialty slices and then iced tea. The service was very welcoming and the answer to couple of questions I had. When I paid the prices seemed a little lower than I was expecting. Which is always a good thing. Other customers who got more substantial meals than I did, the food look good while being delivered and they all look very happy while they were eating it. Shout out compliments to Mary for very friendly free refills on the soft drink. I'll definitely be going back.Parking: Village Pizzeria is in an area that has a few different restaurants and small shopping. The parking lot can look full but I've always been able to find a spot either in the free lot or within a block on the street

We went to this restaurant last November and enjoyed the fresh pizza. A few days ago, we decided to go back for lunch, around 1:30 pm, and the experience was disappointing. We got warmed over pizza, with extra crispy crust. It seemed like the pizza was placed in a toaster oven.

Location is great for pizza near the beach. Staff are helpful and friendly and the pizza is good. I just wasn't impressed. I think for a top notch pizza, I would go elsewhere. The patio vibe is chill, and the clientele seem to be locals having a nice outing with the family.

I rode a great trolly ride to Coronado Island and jumped off the trolly to check out the sights. I was hankering for a slice of pizza and came across Village Pizzeria. I decided to check them out cause they do serve single pieces of pie. I actually ended up ordering their special that day, which was a chicken Parmesan type sandwich. I can’t remember what they called it, tho. It had a special name. And the sauce was a vodka style tomato sauce. The sandwich and sauce were delish! That paired with a nice cold water, it was a wonderful lunch. The pizza also looks excellent and I wished I had had room in my belly for a slice! Thin crust, large pieces and a lot of toppings to choose from. There is a small seating section indoors and plenty of tables outside under the porch. Great place to people watch. The counter gal was friendly and brought my food out to me! Be confident picking Village Pizzeria as a place to check out if ever visit Coronado Island.

I had high hopes for this place but unfortunately, it was a disappointment. Pizza was lacking in flavor and the crust was tough. Also, the price was outrageous for a half cheese, half meat pizza for takeout. I was told by staff that their policy is to charge a half and half pizza as the more expensive half. Bad policy. Pros of this place are nice staff and large portion of food.
