Fish, soups, and service were good. Agadashi tofu was great. The biggest downside was that they didn't offer a sashimi combo platter. If that's not what you're looking for, then I highly recommend.

We called ahead to reserve a table. When we arrived, our server admitted she had given our reservation to someone else. It ended up okay because we wound up at Wafu Sushi instead, which was a truly lovely place with extremely sensitive service and beautiful decor, but I can't remember the last time I had service so bad.Parking: there were a few spots on a Saturday night, so there's ample I'd say.

My husband was Japanese and he always said this is the best sushi and sashimi he'd ever having his life. Sherry and her staff will take amazing care of you. The freshest fish and dishes I've ever had. This is a regular stop for me.

Had a really nice intimate experience here at Ango Tei. We had the omakase and it wasquite an experience! The last dish was a very creative truffle salmon belly. I didn't think you could make salmon belly more delicious than it already is. The restaurant is a bit bright, but the quality matched the price and it was such a great time!

It's alright. It's a good 2nd choice when Hachi is full. Decent selection of food, authentic enough and fresh enough.Apparently it's been here for a while but I never noticed it until a few days ago, right after I was told by Hachi that there's a 1-1.5 hour wait.Nonetheless, the service here was reasonably quick, price-wise not terrible.Maybe I'm knit picking but the bright light and the vibe can be improved and that'll make it feel a lot more authentic... if that's what they want.

[Food]- Oyster Shooter: Yum! Amazing flavors amongst the oyster, ponzu sauce, tobiko, green onion, and quail egg! Most oyster shooters are usually a hit for me. I like that their oysters are a decent size compared to the other components. - Shishito Peppers: Sometimes when I order this some places don't give you a dipping sauce but I really like that they do here. A nice savory dashi sauce! - Chef's Choice: Fresh and decent depending on the piece. I could've done without the tamago as I feel like that was the one that kind of dragged the overall dish down. I enjoyed the variety of nigiri so I'm content! (: The sweet shrimp nigiri comes with the head fried. My favorite! - Nigiri: Salmon was average but the yellowtail was pretty good. Nice sweetness of the fish along with complimentary toppings[Service]- Fast, friendly, helpful[Ambiance]- From what I read they moved locations but just down the street. - Has indoor and bar seating. [Overall]- Would come back again to try their other dishes!- Food is fresh and delicious

I'm glad we decided to try this restaurant. Despite our initial reservations due to its external appearance, it was a reminder not to judge a book by its cover. Every dish we ordered was excellent, from the agedashi tofu and soft shell crab house special to the uni sushi, spicy tuna hand roll, and eel. The staff were welcoming but service was quite slow. The establishment was clean. While the ambiance could be improved, the outstanding food quality still earns it a 5-star rating from me. Forgot to take pictures so will definitely come back.

The parking lot is always terrible, especially on weekends or during dinner time. The service is friendly, but for the first 10 minutes, no one had smiles on their faces. The front door sign is written with a marker and sloppily taped with Scotch tape. The indoor decoration is quite funky. The bamboo lamp looks chic, but there is no light bulb inside; they didn't let it function as a lamp but as a decoration. They are using all the ugly spotlights on the ceiling, which makes the dining area's lighting resemble that of a hospital. The tables look terrible with chipped glass edges.+++ Monkfish liver: The highlight of the night, the fish liver is fresh, not too chunky, fishy, or stiff. It's like a perfect fish foie gras.---+ Soft-shell crab: It's over-fried, tasteless, chewy, and dry, but at least it's not fishy.--- Salmon, Kanpachi, Aji sushi: The salmon's temperature is room temperature or slightly above, and it has a fishy smell. Kanpachi is dry, and the fish is also at room temperature, lacking flavor and moisture. Aji sushi is dry and bitter. It's quite disappointing for a sushi place to serve sushi with hard rice, stale, bitter, and dry fish meat.--- Agedashi tofu: I've never had agedashi tofu as bad as this before. The tofu is cut in giant pieces, almost like they horizontally sliced it from its box. There is a transparent, gluey coating on the tofu, and the tofu has a texturing similar to Taiwanese oyster cake. It's very unpleasant, and I've never seen such sloppy agedashi tofu.--+ Tempura: Kitchen scraps, tiny 0.2" carrots, 0.3" sweet potato, frozen shrimp that triggered my allergy, half an imitation crab stick, and here's a first for me - broccoli tempura. Quite surprising, considering the times of inflation.I'm okay with a sloppy-looking interior or tableware and even mediocre service as long as the food is amazing. However, the food here is as sloppy as the rest of the restaurant.Their prices are not over the top during these times of inflation, but the quality has definitely dropped."

The food and service are great. The only improvement I would like to see is the dirty table cloth.

I'm glad my fiancé and I had dinner here tonight. I've heard many good things from my colleagues and clients. It looks like they might have just moved here or did a remodeling because it looks pretty modern. I was expecting an old school looking Japanese decor haha. The service here was really attentive, it felt like there was more attention because it was a pretty small place. A couple of tables and bar seating. Everything we had here was delicious. The sushi chef really put in quality work and watching his art creating dishes was a cool experience. If you sit at the bar, it's mostly order as you go. We ordered salmon, yellow tail, Japanese red snapper, amber jack, and a couple of hand rolls. I highly recommend ordering amber jack and the red snapper. All the sushi we had tonight were really fresh. I was in awe. Also, if you get a chance, order the blue crab handroll! It was inexpensive and I think for about 20 pieces of fish, couple of hand rolls and miso soup was less than $100. All about quality when you have sushi. We only live a couple of miles from here so we found our new go to spot!
