Wow, my tastebuds did a dance just now thinking about last nights meal. The atmosphere, upscale casual, very classy. But not so much that we were in casual shorts attire. First class service, I swear you have 5 amazing people waiting and helping you. But not overly hawkish. The Italian water , I think Panna, is definitely a must try. We also enjoyed the Tomahawk, then a boneless ribeye, the lamb...mmmm cooked to perfection! Of course the garlic noodles and garlic rice to accompany the feast of meats! Calamari was a non chewy hit! Thank you for the delicious Asian flare on the Sashimi. Okay, my final, and my most favorite of this amazing dinner, drum roll please......filet mignon potstickers! There are no words, just pure delight. We all had a cocktail with dinner. The price for 6 adults and one child was about $820. We chose family style so we could enjoy all the delectables.

This restaurant is a must!!! Some of the best vegetables I have ever had. When is the vegetable the star. Here !!!! I ordered the cauliflower and broccoli vegetables made with turmeric. It was the best vegetables I have ever had in my entire life. I also ordered the fish with red rice. It was excellent. My husband got the lobster with garlic noodles again another excellent dish.

Delightful dining experience smaller plates fairly high prices I have to admit but everything was delicious and the service was superb and one of my pet bugaboos is when you're in a restaurant they come by and use a broom to clean up the floor which annoys me beyond belief because of the potential of what they're sweeping that's going to end up on your plate but they simply used to keep the floor spotless was a wet wipe the dried instantly so the service and the restaurant were wonderful and so was the food we had wonton soup that had plenty of delicious wontons in it and also hot and sour soup that had very tender pieces of pork in it and as an appetizer we had a flawless fried pork chop that wasn't greasy at all and had no bones in it so it was either cut away from the bone and then prepared or it was a slice of loin but that was also absolutely wonderful and then we ended up having a wonderful sweet and sour chicken that was so tender and the sauce was perfect and it was fried again the no grease was on the plate so everything that I ate there was great and I'm sure anything you order will be wonderful and you'll enjoy yourself enormously by Stephen ValentinoVegetarian options: There are a good dozen or more selections.Dietary restrictions: I can't eat anything that's hot and spicy and the accommodated me when they prepared dishes so there was nothing hot or spicy or any green peppers in anything.Parking: Parking was extremely convenient and easy as this restaurant is in the South Coast Plaza Mall which is in Costa MesaKid-friendliness: I saw plenty of kids and younger people with their parents or family in the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: It's a building in California it must by law have wheelchair accessibility and that they do.

So this is has been favorite restaurant for years. But I’m really disappointed that they have removed so many of the best items of the menu. The curry coconut noodles were amazing and my fav dish here but that’s no longer there. They also used to have a phyllo samosa sort of appetizer which now is no longer there. Really disappointed that they keep removing the best items from their menu. Hoping that they add it back in! Or else, don’t think I will be coming as often as I did.

Fantastic food with great flavors. Came here last Saturday specifically for their famous garlic noodles and roasted crab. Unfortunately for some reason they had no roasted crab available this particular day. Had to settle for the Umami crab which was still good, but was really wanting the roasted crab. But everything was delicious, filet mignon potstickers was a huge hit for the table as well as the garlic noodles (had to get 2 orders) and the kung pao eggplant was also a very pleasant surprise. The only downside was this particular day they were very busy and very understaffed. My wife's main dish came out before the appetizers which we thought was odd. So she was slowly eating her main dish before everyone else had anything. They brought out the same dish for her when everyone else's main dish finally came out, so something was really miscommunicated behind the scenes. Waiter apologized for the long wait times and lacking service. The lunch did take about 2 hours. Overall a great food even if we missed out on the roasted crab, but service was lacking this particular day.

It was a rainy day so many people were at South Coast Plaza on a Saturday afternoon. My husband, son and I stopped by AnQi Shaken & Stirred Noodle Bar for a late lunch around 2:30pm. We decided to sit at the bar tables located outside of the restaurant on the Plaza floor. The menu is much cheaper than the main dining with more bar food selections. Our server was friendly & attentive. There are a variety of menu choices & vegetarian dishes that looked delicious. We ordered the Micro Cucumber & Tomato Salad @ $5, the Filet Mignon Beef Bowl with Noodles @ $20, the Shaken Filet Mignon Beef Bowl with Rice @ $20 and the Shaken Firecrackers Prawns with Rice for $20. I thought the prices were reasonably for the amount served. The dishes were tasty, flavorful and nicely presented. My husband, son and I gave AnQi high marks for overall delicious and friendly staff. I would definitely come back to try the other dishes.Vegetarian options: Variety of vegan dishes to choose from.

First time visit after a long time hearing about the famous garlic noodles.I ordered the fillet mignon pot stickers - these were very good, then continued to the garlic noodles with grilled shrimp.I waited quite a while for the main course, even though it was late lunchtime and the place was quite empty. The garlic noodles were ok. Perhaps back in the day they were quite an exciting idea. But fusion cuisine has come a way since then and I found the dish to be a bit boring. The grilled shrimp were good.In terms of value for money, I'm afraid I was paying for the reputation and past achievements and not for the experience I actually had. Will probably try other places the next time I'm in the area.

Great for pics during Christmas time. Food is good but last time I went there I was seated at main dining sec and service was great. If you seat towards the backend you won't get such good

When we first walked in we were greeted with a warm smile but after being seated it was different. Our server didn't seem too welcoming. He didn't really come back to ask if we needed anything.

I dined at Anqi for the first time last night, taking advantage of restaurant week and I will definitely be back soon. Almost everything about the experience was phenomenal. The service from the front staff to our server was excellent, the food was outstanding, the noise level was energetic, but we could still hold a conversation, and overall we really enjoyed ourselves. My only disappointments were the salad was soggy and overdressed, and the appetizer choice I wanted was sold out. This seemed odd because by the time I ordered, it was a little before 6 pm, which is early for a restaurant to be out of something on a pre-fixe special menu, but I still enjoyed the food immensely.

Music was way too loud. We complained and they lowered but it was back up later. Hard to keep up a conversation. Our favorite desert, Banan Fritters, was no longer on the menu. We visit a few times a year, but we might not return even though the food is excellent.

Went for the first time during OC Restaurant Week and I don't know why we haven't been here before. The food is tasty (the starters were perfect little bites and the catch of the day was a Dover sole over jasmine rice that was so buttery and tender), the ambience is beautiful and the service was excellent. Looking forward to coming again in soon.
