Fun place to visit for sweet or savory baked goods. Breakfast and lunch style sandwiches available too. Service and coffee was good.

Don’t list your operating hours displaying closure at 7pm only to close at 6:30pm on Nov 1 2022. Don’t appreciate a long drive only to find the shop closed. - Updated review after owners explanation of employees emergency and the necessity to closes the shop.

The service here is great and the ambiance is quite busy and bustling they have a really great display of the items they offer. It is a little pricier than some places but overall a solid spot.

I was in a pinch and needed desserts for my company's potluck. I got 4 adorable tarts that the staff recommended and they were delicious. I went early in the morning and service was quick even though there was a line. The bakery has seating inside or outside of you want to enjoy your treat there.

Blackmarket Bakery is a gem, offering a cozy ambiance and top-notch coffee. With ethically sourced beans and skilled baristas, each cup is a delight. Their menu features delicious pastries and hearty sandwiches, all served with a smile. A must-visit spot for coffee lovers and foodies alike.

Live this place. Decor is very inviting. Large parking lot. Sandwiches and coffee is great. I used to come here 2-3 times a week when I worked in the area. Sadly, I am not in the area much anymore and hardly can make it here anymore.

Honestly, paying $15 for a sandwich is not worth it here. I got the uncle sandwich and they added a $1.42 tax. I don't know about the average person but $15 for an average sandwich without flavor is crazy. It seemed nice in there but I would never come back. This is obscene. I know it looks delicious but the bacon had a lot of the fat and it lacked flavor overall. Maybe it was so expensive because of the quality of the food. But honestly the quality wasn't even worth the lack of flavor for me personally.

Let's just say I waited over 30 min for my order I kept asking the employees if my order is ready. I asked 3x times. Til again 4th time now they're saying it was send out I was waiting for my name to be called or even the sandwhich name order.... Neither of those were called.. I see customers getting their orders except mine.... I just asked for my refund and asked for the manager nothing.. if you have time to waste come here. I hear the same thing happened to couple of my friends with their orders take forever, people take them it's ridiculous! Place is dirty anyway, they don't clean, dust everywhere, food crumbs on tables and some sticky and greasy stuff too and seats also dirty.

The cream was very dry and the cake was overly sweet with unmelted sugar crystals. The sweetness over powered the subtle vanilla flavor. As a baker myself, I think the $26 cake does not have the quality that I expected. I don't know if I would buy cakes from it again.

I have been coming here for a while now. I love their breakfast sandwiches, cookies, drinks and etc. I actually got some of their cookies for Galentines and that was a hit. Came in today for brioche bread, a cookie, and a muffin. The people were kind. It was chairs and tables and overall very friendly staff.

Came to Black Market Bakery for a photo-meet in Oceanside. This place is really great for baked goods! They make all their bread in house! I think is the only place in Oceanside with freshly made in house bread! They offer all sorts of baked items and sandwiches and of course tea and coffee! I ordered a kouign-amann and an iced matcha green tea latte. The pastry was a sugary delicious texture of soft, crunchy, layered perfection! The matcha green tea was pretty good - nothing fancy. They don't add sweetener to their drinks so you'll have to add it yourself to your liking! There is lots of seating, inside and outside. Inside has a cute little nook for sitting. And there is lots of parking in the lot and on the street.
