We came in as they were closing. We said we would go elsewhere, and the server/closer was so nice. Said it was not a problem and the food was fabulous.

Breakfast Republic is my favorite breakfast place in Orange County! The café de olla and protein lover scrambler is my go to order. The only downside is that they’re always super busy on weekend afternoons, I recommend going earlier in the day than later (the parking lot is small so it gets tricky finding a spot).

Amazing Food! The restaurant is a little on the smaller side but they accommodated my family of 6 well. The staff was kind and attentive. Everything bought to the table was delicious and fresh. Plan on visiting again.Kid-friendliness: My picky Kids finished every bite and even and said the bacon was the best.

Great service and good food. They have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. I had their tostada's without the eggs and they were extremely filling. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating to the customizations.

Everything was great, not too crowded considering it was Superbowl Sunday. Our waiter Jakhory was great too.

waitlist is atrocious, waited 2+ hours for a table, said I was next and called different groups to come and eat. Didn't even get to eat I don't have all day. I'm sure they're nice people but the Irvine location puts this place to

We had lunch on Saturday. There is much parking, though the entrance is technically off 17th Street, a tough turn on a busy day. (I wrote "technically" because we drove in from the exit. We had to back into a parking space.)The food was good. My son had the shrimp and grits, which was pricier ($18) but smaller than my sausage scramble ($13), which was tasty and filling. Service was great. Ambiance was interesting, with many sexual innuendos. (See pics.) The cup of coffee was interesting. It was large cup of steaming hot coffee that didn't seem ever to get cool enough to enjoy with my food. I even poured creamer in. I had only one cup of coffee, and never finished it.

Needed a close brunch spot on a late Sunday afternoon so our little group of 3 decided on Breakfast Republic. After a little bit of a wait we were seated inside. A little cramped and loud but nothing uncomfortably so.Service was alright, there were a few moments where we felt we were left hanging but was remedied by our server's great energy. The food itself was good and the drinks were strong! Great staples, but nothing blew us away. Would return if in a pinch!

My first time here and I absolutely loved it!! Everything was phenomenal, the lemon coconut pancakes were delectable and the shrimp and grits were so flavorful. The service was wonderful, our server Jack was on top of his game and showed what a worthy server should be. I'll definitely be back!!
