My wife and I decided to dine at Sevilla’s last night and it was our absolute best dining decision in quite a while! Let me start off by saying Sevilla’s has an amazing Happy Hour and it now goes until 7pm and on weekends too!!!!! $10 cocktails, 50% off their cold and hot Tapas, like are you for real!? On top of that… each dish was incredibly delicious so hats off to the cooks. We also had the pleasure of having Paul be our waiter while he had a new hire shadowing whose name was Bryan. Bryan was respectful and observant on how Paul did his service so props to him.As for Paul… Sevilla is blessed to have such a genuine and engaging employee who gave amazing food and drink recommendations… always knew when to check in with us and when to let us be… he walked the line incredibly well and thanks to his service, Sevilla’s food and lastly the business owners decision to have such an amazing happy hour policy - my wife and I will be coming back routinely now.Thank you Sevilla for a lovely dining experience!

I notoriously get terrible service, when I go out its a hit or miss just because of the prejudice I face. But this venue has exceptionally horrendous terrible service if you get any. I went on a rainy Wednesday evening, although the venue was dead there were no tables for walk ins so my husband and I were offered the bar. We were given the end of the bar close to the band, and we waited patiently to get served. If a manager is reading this, my bartender was an older latino with a confused and arrogant look on his face. If you re watch the security footage, I am sure you can spot us and watch this entire interaction go down. We were given regular menus, when we asked for the OC restaurant week menu we were first given a grimace and it was awkward for a second. Then he turned on his heel and handed one menu to us with his thumb and forefinger, literally dropped it and walked away. There was no summery of the menu, description of any food or suggestions on drinks. When he returned, I asked him for a suggestion for a drink and to have him speak to me was like pulling teeth, it was actually I that suggested a basic sangria. I was not offered any other choice, whether it was the white sangria or any other drink, so I took what I was given. We were waiting for a solid 15 minutes with our drinks, my husband needed a soda refill, I couldn't take it anymore so I called him for service. I asked him to please put in our food order and a refill on my husbands glass; again there was no suggestions, no descriptions, no upselling or speaking whatsoever. In my line of work we call him an order taker, someone who finished a shift at McDonald's and clocked in a Sevillas. Honestly he seemed like a nightlife bartender that only wants to get people drunk off two ingredient drinks and shots for his entire career. While we were waiting for our appetizers, I could clearly hear him candidly and gleefully talking to the guests directly to my right, suggesting and describing EXACTLY WHAT I ORDERED! (Croquettes, albondigas and the paella) Suddenly he was fluent with the menu and giving all types of service to every diner in the establishment except us. Our appetizers came and went; no silverware was provided, we were not checked on, no refills or waters whatsoever. Again our entree came and went, this time the server assistant was very attentive and brought us fresh silverware and plates. This bartender was literally avoiding eye contact with me and dodging me at every corner, I honestly don't know why. The best part of the night was when my husband told the bartender that the wine I got was "ta bueno". The bartender had the audacity to look at me and tell me "That means it's really good, in case you don't know. HAHA" And laughed at me! Bro, this is my husband and I am fluent in Spanish, how dare you come at me like that? If I wasn't working for a luxury hotel in this community, this def would have ended differently. Come for live music and salty food, dont stay for the drinks. I would rather drive all the way to LA and dance at La Floriditas or Stephens Steakhouse in Commerce than endure the travesty that is Sevillas. Hope ya'll survive this recession.

Fun place with live music (it’s loud so don’t count on conversation) with good food. Service was very slow (but it was a busy night).

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Seville Restaurant and Tapas Grill with my husband, and it was truly exceptional, thanks to our waitress, Tee N. Her warm welcome and genuine hospitality set the tone for our entire experience. The ambiance of the restaurant transported us to a Spanish-style micro vacation, with its seaside decor and cozy fire pits. Tee N went above and beyond, offering thoughtful recommendations and even arranging a special mocktail for me, the Tamarindo Margarita, which was refreshingly delightful. We opted for the "dividida - any two paellas* cooked in one pan" option and savored the traditional paella valenciana and the black seafood paella—truly the best choice ever! The paella was a culinary delight, with tender seafood, crispy pork belly, and perfectly cooked rice that provided the perfect bite. The addition of crispy pork belly added a delightful contrast to the dish, providing a savory richness that complemented the seafood beautifully. Each grain of rice absorbed the flavors of the seafood broth and aromatic spices, creating a flavorful base that tied the dish together. The spicy octopus ceviche was a standout, and the Basque cheesecake was a delightful treat with its delicate decorations. Tee N's kindness and care made the evening truly memorable, lifting our spirits despite some unfortunate news. Seville Restaurant and Tapas Grill exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to returning for more wonderful cuisine. Thank you, Tee, for an unforgettable dining experience.

I made a reservation for two for Valentine’s Day for Sevilla in Costa Mesa. I paid a non-refundable deposit to hold my reservation. We arrived on time for our reservation. We were then led by the hostess to a booth that was occupied by another couple. The hostess then had a discussion with that couple. They did not move. The hostess then told us that they were going to let the other couple stay at the booth, which she had intended to seat us at, even though, according to her, the other couple did not have a reservation and just walked in and sat themselves down at that booth. The booth was indoors where the live band was playing. We were then led to a patio table outside, in which the backrest is too far back and the table too low to be able to sit comfortably while eating dinner. Also, we couldn’t hear the live music or see the performance from the patio table.I do not understand why the hostess let the other couple stay at a booth that was supposed to be for us, when we had a reservation and the other couple did not. Why didn’t they ask the other couple to move instead? Why did they prefer a couple without a reservation over a couple that had a paid reservation? The food and the service from the waitress were both excellent.

Sat at the bar with my girl the other day and cesar the bartender took care of us, we had the empanadas and croquetas de queso and a few drinks, so glad he was able to help us out because we got no idea of what to order but thank god cesar guided us trought the menu and we loved his recommendations, 10 out 10 on the service, drinks, and food, so next time you sit at the bar look for cesar if you want peace of mind on what to get
