One of the absolute best meals I have ever eaten. Great service and the atmosphere was incredible. If you are looking for authentic food in a fun setting STRONGLY consider Casablanca!

The restaurant owner was very unorganized, our table was not set up, he was rude, and I was shocked to find out he was the owner. When I told him I was surprised the tables were not set with a reservation a month in advance he said will set them up as people come in. I was the one who moved the tables together, which was ridiculous! When I saw the owner just walking around, I called him over and ask him if someone could bring us water, he made some nasty remark, to me, that my friends who hear all commented about. The food was excellent, but 4 of my 18 people left because they couldn't find parking, and they charged me $20 for a corkage fee, when I was told it's $15. The belly dancer was very good, Charlie the server was a sweetheart, the fan was broken, there was no back up air conditioning, and the place was so warm and uncomfortable, they had to keep opening the door with the cars on PCH whizzing by. Between the owner's nasty personality, the heat of the restaurant and no parking as guests drove from Dana Point and drove back home in frustration, I would not return here again!

Always top notch food with outstanding service. The staff are attentive, the food is fresh and cooked to perfection, and the ambience is festive with their authentic decorations and with talented dancers.

Service was subpar, having to remind the waiter/owner several times for our drinks. Took a long time to order.

It is a delicious meal at a wonderful restaurant. The ambiance is beautiful and the tea is so good! The chicken bastilla and lamb tagine were wonderful! It will become one of my favorites when I'm here. The baklava was very yummy, too! The service is really great. Nice staff!

Our first time at this restaurant celebrating our anniversary and everything was delicious. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and the rings were breaded and fried to perfection. I ordered the couscous royale with lamb sausage, chicken and beef kabob along with stewed vegetables and it was absolutely delightful. My boyfriend got the lamb which he thoroughly enjoyed. The service was good. The restaurant was not very full and it's very small inside. Overall, we look forward to going back.

Such a fun and delicious experience, we went with 11 people for our son's 16th birthday the food was amazing, the atmosphere and decor and the belly dancer was delightful to watch. The owner and staff were so nice to us all. Parking is so so it doesn't have a parking lot so just park across PCH in the city Parking lot if there isn't street parking. The

Took the family for a birthday dinner. At first, we were the only diners which made us a little nervous, but the restaurant filled up later. The service was great. The ambiance is beautiful and dark. We tried many dishes. The kids were open minded although they complained the whole way there. They ended up enjoying the new experience. We are going back!

Very nice welcome. Algerian atmosphere. The meal was excellent. Only negative: Our aperitif came with the starter. If you are looking for something different, this is the place to go.

Casablanca is a MUST VISIT if you are in the Newport/Costa Mesa area! This little restaurant is so full of energy and color, just walking in you feel transported to a new world. The aromatic scents of the kitchen are waiting for you, and while it may feel crowded, you can still have a conversation with your companions. The food is tremendous and the portions generous. If you want to have the full experience, try all the food! And yes, there is live entertainment :) Enjoy the entertainment, the music, the ambiance, the everything. 10/10

We LOVE this place! The food is always amazing and the atmosphere is beautiful. Fridays and Saturdays you even get entertainment with the beautiful belly dancers! Highly recommend.

The food was great but they may have been short staffed. We felt ignored many times and a three hour meal should have been served in at least half that time. Many times the staff just kept walking by the table and not checking in. Other parties were in and out way faster and one of the parties was about the same size as ours. Parking also is very difficult.
