Best ceviche around and they have Pisco sours! Great table snack of dry roasted Inca corn too.

I would rate it 0 stars if I could based on the initial customer service because there was none. The moment I walked in with my husband and 2 kids, the woman was not kind and lacked customer service. She stated that they only take reservations but on the website it does not state that. She said that we could wait for 15 minutes but it was no guarantee that she could sit us however there were empty tables. This restaurant lacks people skills for families and does not clearly state that it is reservations only. Shame on management for not offering clear instructions and not accepting adults with children.

This is a Peruvian restaurant with passion and execution. It merits a Michelin Bib Gourmand! The food is nothing short of astounding! This is from a New Yorker who has spent time in Peru and loves that cuisine. They have really recreated true Peruvian dishes with just the right mix of spices and really fresh fish and seafood. I could have been dining at a fine restaurant in Cuzco!! The Branzino scallop clam and shrimp mage with jasmine rice and spicy cilantro tomato broth was otherworldly! And the classic ceviche was just that, classic. The Barman was a genius with the Pisco Sour and the wines by the glass were good accompaniments to the food. My hope is that with more people discovering Costa, it may find a somewhat larger spot, and expand the wine by the glass choices. But I haven't had a more authentic and brilliantly prepared Peruvian meal outside the Sacred Valley!! A must go!!

Solid Peruvian food in a small trendy restaurant; perfect for a date night, if you're staying in the area, or for dinner before a show at the adjacent performing arts center. Although they're only beer & wine, the cocktails were delicious. I got a pisco sour which was very enjoyable. To start, the pulpos (octopus) was served cooked, however sashimi style and chilled. The wife and I really enjoyed the sauce it was served with; reminiscent of a southeast Asian shrimp paste but mild and creamier. For entrees we did Aji pasta with Filet Mignon and Pescado a lo macho. The pasta had a great creamy, savory sauce which was hardy but not heavy. Filet was cooked well and tender. The Pescado dish was great; think of it as a Peruvian gumbo. Came seasoned with a nice kick and a decent piece of branzino, just wished the calamari and scallops were a bit more substantial pieces. Service and prices were as expected in the area. Best part was our stomachs were content and we caught our show at Segerstrom just a 5 minute walk away! I would definitely recommend reservations for dinner, especially before any show times... it's a small place and not made for large parties.

Great dinner, drinks and service last night. Our server Nancy was very knowledgeable and provided great recommendations on the appetizers and entrees. For appetizers, we tried the causas and classic ceviche. For entrees, we tried Pescado a lo Macho and Aji de Gallina. All the food was excellent and beautifully presented.

Absolutely outstanding!!!!!!!!!! The Lomo Saltado is deliciously authentic and the signature cocktails Hector makes are done with attention paid to the minutest details! Thank you for always making this a truly phenomenal experience.

Kinda average Went last Wednesday (slow night) ... totally creepy we are the only couple in the restaurant. Server was amazing and so positive Drink pours were average/small - Chardonnay - Whiskey Food: Empanadas were okay not a Wow! LOMO MAR Y TIERRA was horrible. - The filet mignon was so tough and cooked overdone - The shrimp were small and overcooked - french fries and rice were to fill up the plate TALLARIN VERDE CON FILETE was very good - Sautéed noodles in a spinach basil cream topped with parmesan cheese was excellent - the sautéed filet mignon was plentiful and tender Atmosphere was cold and miserable

This place is a gem and I'm a little late on this review but hey, better late than never. I've gone here on various occasions, including my birthday and it has never disappointed. Service/Ambiance: The staff here are always very attentive and friendly. Each time, I was greeted with smiles and amazing recommendations. I couldn't ask for a better experience. The restaurant is quite small but the decor is tasteful and sleek. I would recommend coming here for a weekend dinner plan! Food Consensus: Everything that I've tried so far has a ton of flavor and that element of freshness that's hard to find. The ceviche is a must for the table!! The ceviche is very citrusy and the quality of the fish is spot on. I love the large corn nuts that are in the ceviche, it adds great texture. My favorite dishes are the lomo saltado and the aji pasta. The lomo saltado has amazing flavor and the meat, onions, and tomatoes are stir fried well. I'm not the hugest fan of the fries but they're not bad. The aji pasta is just WOW. I absolutely love that dish. The flavor is creamy and savory in an almost mushroom way. I've never tried anything like it before and I'm glad I took a chance on the waiter's recommendation. I've also tried some seafood dishes that were also great. Flan was a solid dessert. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. It'd be a perfect place to grab dinner after going to the OCMA (museum) or before a show at the Segerstorm center.
