This place was a literal dump, the smell when you walk in is a mix of vomit & old beer spills that never got cleaned off the ground. The bathrooms should be shut down by the board of health, it’s disgusting in there. The staff is also rude & miserable. I would not recommend this bar to my worst enemy, it’s that bad.

Can't beat the selection and that enclosed outdoor patio is perfection. The coconut stout was like a boozy almond joy and knee-buckling it was so good!

Last night I visited this location with my wife. At 1:45am they were closing and one of the security guards approached my wife and used derogatory language toward her telling her she needed to leave. I got in between then and told him he could not talk to my wife or any customer in that manner. He then proceeded to start yelling at me and got so close to me that it provoked me to push him away from me. Then 2 security guards came behind me and put me in a choke hold and carried me out of the establishment and threw me on the sidewalk. Causing me to get the back of my head hit and elbow scraped. I'm not sure why security at a bar thinks they can physically hurt their patrons but I will be pursuing legal action against this establishment. We were waiting outside for an Uber and security was still harassing us as we were boarding the taxi. It's unfortunate to see a business allow this behavior from their employees.

Nice place with power tripping , worthless attitude giving security guards. Solve the problems at home then get a job, dude

First time at Goat Hill and Rob the bartender greeted me immediately. He is the sweetest most genuine bartender I've met. Made me feel safe which is extremely rare with bartenders. He's there every other day but Tuesday and Wednesday. I love Rob.

Goat Hill is my favorite OC bar. A million taps of interesting beer, always something I haven't tried before. Joe behind the counter is friendlier than anybody working at 2:40 in a bar ought to be, and gave me a breakdown of several of the beers I was interested in trying. Also, if you're a fan of the kitsch aesthetic, no place down here does the "fill every part of the wall and ceiling with cool stuff" thing better. Love it here, highly recommend.

This place allows "the regulars" to run the place and put their hands on women. Get my post deleted, im coming back everyday. 86 GOATHILL.

Fun place to hangout, the prices are great and if you don't like your drink they will redo-it. It's nice that they have different areas.

Stopped in again for a pitcher of Coors…they were out of High Life. Love this bar. It hasn’t changed hardly at all since the first time I went back in 1988. Too bad their peanut supplier has been shipping them stale peanuts cuz I always get some to go with the beer and leave the shells on the floor. Always playing great music too. Hope to be back next summer(June 17) for their 55th anniversary. Was there for their 50th and it was great!!
