This is no way a peruvian restaurant as the food is missing the taste. The cost is too much for the size you get. And the food is like a mix of American food with no flavor. I will not be coming back as a peruvian this place is a spam trying to said this is peruvian food.

When my boss is in town, he eats here multiple times in a week. He loves it. He brought in a box of Alfajores to share. They were fantastic!!!

My favorite Peruvian restaurant. I drive from riverside just to have this craving. Favorite dish beef lomo saltado. Super delicious.

I completely agree with Ross. I have been coming here for 4 yrs. The portions on the protein have absolutely gotten smaller. I don't mind the extra charge because of inflation, I understand completely. BUT $24 and the majority is potato and rice? And we only receive 2-3oz. That's ridiculous. Cost of rice and potatoes isn't even that serious specially when you have a business and are purchasing in BULK. It's just GREED at this point and it's disappointing

It hurts me to write this review as I must have eaten here over 100 times, the girls there provide great service & they have some good green sauce. I understand there are price increases and no issues with that, but when they cut protein portion sizes that leave you eating a plate full of french fries and veggies drenched in soy sauce with white rice it becomes a problem. Last time my fiancée and I ate there she noticed and said "wow I barely got any chicken" (I also noticed it but didn't say anything). I had it again today and I am not joking when I say this - I am lucky if I got 2 oz of chicken! That's ridiculous. I had to tell the girl who works there. I don't think I'll be back and here's why.. She gave the right answer that the meat portions are always the same, etc but it's not true. 5 pencil-width 1" pieces of meat. Probably right under 2 oz. I'm now leaving to go get my protein elsewhere (after a $24 meal). As a business you can't take up your cost AND leave the customer protein-empty and carb full. Not right.

This restaurant owner Ana (per worker Reinaldo) is serving rotten dishes to delivery customers. This wasn't just a case of "bad quality and flavor". This is downright rotten hazardous and repulsive. The ceviche fish was so rotten it had an odor so smelly it made everyone want to gag and no good fresh ceviche should smell up a whole car and condo. This was evil. My kids were going to be fed this. You should be ashamed! Thankfully Uber refunded me this entire order of $110 plus delivery fee. Customer especially Peruvians yourself like me please beware.

The chicken chili, the northern goat, the marine duo and the banana for dessert were very delicious, the green chili with which all the dishes are served is really

The flavor of the food is Ok. While the portions were disappointing , but this is an issue of every single Peruvian restaurant in OC. My plate price was almost $18 and I was expecting a decent portions of chicken (at least 3 or 4 ounces) and the plate came with just ONE piece of yucca! Too price for the portions! Service was good. Furniture old, not well lighted inside. I do not think I will come back.

It's all about the green sauce! Good amount of spice and it goes with everything. Got the filet mignon saltado it was delicious. Place is on the smaller side so get there early before the crowd.

Did you know Peruvian food is popular because Peruvian dishes can be so diverse, with so many ingredients to choose from. I've been coming to Inka Grill one or two times a month I've tried mostly everything. The location of Inka Grill is 23600 Rockfield Blvd, Lake forest ,CA 92630. Inka Grill is a Peruvian cuisine restaurant that claims that 99% percent of their ingredients are fresh. It's surprising to me that they have been open for twenty eight years and even survived a pandemic which shut a lot of restaurants down.It was founded in 1996. It's a family owned restaurant inspired by her Grandmother’s cooking back in Peru. The first items visible when entering are some old antiques like cooking ware, old plates and designs on the walls. The first thing you hear from entering people just having conversations and the workers cooking at the back of the restaurants. When getting there the first thing you smell is the chiefs cooking food or the food the people are eating when getting seated you get a smell of buttered bread at your seat with this green sauce but be careful with its because it might look harmless but it has a good kick to it! My experience upon arriving was nothing crazy, just a regular entrance with a little bit of seating outside so don’t expect a crazy entrance. The typical customers that I saw when I went were mostly Latins and a little Peruvians. They were super calm and super nice. The ambiance is very positive and everybody that enters has a positive vibe when walking in the restaurant. Inka grill is worth a try when you have time to go to a restaurant. For example. The food item Inka Grill is most known for is their ceviche. There ceviche is a small dish that has marinated fish with this tangy spicy lime juice with just the right amount of crushed garlic to not overpower the dish with some perfect looking cilantro and perfectly cut onion.Another food item that I bought was Aji De Gallina. It has shredded chicken in a tangy Peruvian curry sauce served with perfectly cut potatoes and well cooked rice sprinkled with cheese. In my opinion it's something worth a try if you are going to try it for the first time and if you like more simple food. Another menu item is a drink called Maracuya. Maracuya Is a type of passion fruit drink that is sweet but not too sweet. It is also worth a try if you like passion fruit if you don't. I suggest getting a fountain drink.another menu item is a dessert called juanitas crepes. Juanitas crepes is a homemade french style crepes that are really warm andsoft filled with sweet dulce de leche served with there nicely fried plantains(bananas) and has a piece of cold ice cream that gets melted by the warm crepes. The restaurant is different from the others because it sells a diverse food you don’t see everyday in different restaurants around Orange County. The reason why i think it's so special is because its a fusion of local and international flavors.Inka Grill is a good restaurant to try because it has a lot of options to try and different menu items that most restaurants don't have. Inka grill is a good Peruvian cuisine restaurant that is all homemade and made by great workers. Inka grill is a place you won't find everywhere around Orange County, Buen Apetito!
