Food was sooo good! Truffle fries were chefs kiss! Crème brûlée was amazing. Super reasonably priced too. Very kind and attentive wait staff! We were inside, kind of an older style, outside in the courtyard it's beautiful though!

I give 4 stars due to the courtyard's authentic resemblance to downtown New Orleans, not quite French Quarter but they did great with the architecture and ambiance. Food is 3 stars, type of flavor you can get anywhere. Service is 4 stars, attentive. Price is 4 stars, reasonably priced. I would come back, I just wish they had better tasting food and a better crafted French-inspired menu to match its ambiance.

Exceptional food and service offered at this beautiful restaurant.Breakfast offerings are many and the omelette I ordered was delicious and plentiful. Juan our waiter as well as the other waiters were very kind, professional and friendly. I have stayed here on several occasions and definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant! The happy hour in the evenings is amazing too and the courtyard with its beautiful garden is gorgeous! I look forward to my next visit.

Don't put too much expectations on the food or venue. Pictures are deceiving. And see how close the restaurant / hotel is from the airport and highway, and just imagine planes taking off every 5 minutes with noise and local pollution associated.

Such a hidden gem. This place is really pretty and puts off a French style vibe. As expensive as everything is, this place has very reasonable prices and really good food

Le Chateau is conveniently located inside the Ayres Hotel. We were in town for the OC Winterfest at the end of last year. The ambience is very nice. Outside is a water fountain. The restaurant was decorated for the holidays and they have this amazing bookshelf-like decor. (Refer to photos.) For dinner I had the fish and garlic fries which were kinda tasty. Soup and Caesar salad preceding that were okay. My husband likes getting pot roast and he thought it was good. It was the eve of my birthday on NYE and I got a slice of cheesecake which was delicious. The service was polite yet a tad distracted and it was not busy in the early evening. Just 3 stars, A-OK!

We went here for brunch and it was not busy at all, so we actually did like the peace and quiet since we sat outside. The outside itself is very nice and clean and the fountain makes it feel very calm. The server was very nice and attentive. I was disappointed with the food. I was not expecting top tier food but it was very underwhelming. I got the Pot Roast Scramble and the pot roast was soft, but again very underwhelming in flavor. Not sure if I would come back again.

Wowowowowowow. What a time we had. The place is in the oddest location, in the back end of a hotel, but man does it pack a punch! Walking thru the courtyard felt transported to somewhere happy, the charm on the inside was just awesome, boats, France, pub, elegant? Let's get straight to it. The prices are SO GREAT my goodness, we took advantage of the happy Hour and walked out with full Bellies and a $65 bill! The service was awesome, our server Miguel was so great and hilarious we had a blast with him. The food was just perfect. Fried shrimp were HUGE, fried cauliflower was crunchy and spicy, truffle fries were alright, French onion soup AMAZING! I can't wait to get back and try the brunch, $5 mimosas?!?! Come on! This is a GEM!

I asked for a French Onion soup and Cesar salad but they were out of Romain so they offered other greens, and I never received my soup.
