You have to really REALLY love shrimp to enjoy the soup here. I only just love shrimp, and the broth was overpowering for me. My review is just for my own personal taste buds. Everyone else in the restaurant seemed happy with their noodles. The service was great, the restaurant ambiance was nice, the decor was attractive. The noodles themselves were delicious. It was just the shrimpiness of the soup that was too much for me. I would go back and try a rice bowl or different soup base though. If you absolutely love the taste of shrimp, definitely try this place. If you are not a seafood person, try the non shrimp base or chicken over rice.

A unique take on ramen, Le Shrimp Noodle Bar is the 1st restaurant in the US to focus on shrimp broth ramen & noodle dishes. It's located in the Collage food hall in Bloomingdale's at South Coast plaza underneath Paradise Dynasty. I ordered the A5 Prawn Chicken Wonton Noodles on my most recent visit and my bowl was delicious! The broth was rich and creamy and full of shrimp flavor. I added a side of chili oil on the side for a bit of spice. The noodles had a great chewy texture and clung to the broth well and the wontons had a good amount of filling inside and the skin had a great texture on the outside. Overall, I had a delicious meal here and the service from the staff was friendly and quick. The ambience overall is quite relaxed and there's usually a decent amount of people dining throughout the day. I'll be back again soon to try the rest of the dishes on the menu for sure!

I was curious about this place because I like seafood and I liked the concept of using shrimp broth in ramen. I got the A1 since it was my first time. It's not a bad price for seafood, but that means the portions are pretty minimal unless you pay for more toppings. There was a lot of cabbage fillers which I wasn't really a fan of because they used some thick slices that weren't really cooked through. The noodles were alright. It wasn't soggy nor was it very al dente. The broth is VERY rich and thick, almost to the point of being creamy. I wouldn't say it was very mind blowing in terms of flavor but it was a unique experience, though I think I would have enjoyed it more if it was thinner in consistency. Unfortunately, I think the broth was too rich for me because I ended up with a bad stomach ache shortly after.

Ordered the chicken shrimp wonton soup. Got food poisoning from the food here. Terrible. Unclean food.

Delicious and decently affordable food compared to everything else at South Coast! The soup is extremely flavorful and has a strong shrimp taste. Everything tasted fresh and the noodles were springy! The braised chicken was so tender and soft - the noodles had a lovely soy sauce flavor. Would love a more crunchy texture since it's mostly soft chicken and soft noodles - maybe even some crushed peanuts? Will be coming back to try the other dishes!

Stopping by for a late lunch early dinner with my hubby during their happy hour. What a steal from the happy hour deal for dinning in! Our total came out to be around only $32 before tip with 2 bowls of trio shrimp noodle, extra egg topping, braised tofu appetizer and a hot tea. Take out is still regular price though. The bowl size is a very good portion, actually a bit big for me. I could only finished half of it. I had the tossed noodle and hubby got the broth one. Although the tossed noodle has good flavor, I have to say I prefer the broth one better. I can taste the flavors of the shrimp peels being roasted before shimmered into the broth, so much depth and richness. Now I know which one to get next time. Will definitely come back again to try other dishes and bring my boys along as well.

Wasn't feeling like broth so I got some shrimp tossed noodles and YUMMMM! The texture of these noodles were PERFECT. Minus 1 star though because for some reason the shrimp balls were really cold??? Service is pretty do it yourself. You scan a menu, order and pay on the website. There's a lot of seating including a big table in the middle so it's good for big groups. Nice place to eat at after exhausting your wallet from shopping!

String deep flavored shrimp ramen noodle with wontons. Service was fast and friendly. Ambiance is casual and is located inside the Collage food hall near the entrance to Bloomingdale's at South Coast Plaza. It's own by the Paradise Group so it's more Chinese tasting than Japanese. Come early before the long line at lunch. Highly recommended!

This place is very comfy, decently priced and the ramen MMMMMMMMMMMMMM. The broth is soo good, creamy, perfectly seasoned, the noodles are perfect and not very heavy on the stomach, the service is very friendly and quick, you'll need a smartphone to order but it's very easy either scan the QR code or tap your phone 10/10 I recommend. And this place goes on the clean plate list for me

It was an interesting experience. I was able to order on my phone. I was able to make changes on what I wanted to order. It was my first time going to this location and it was an interesting food hall. I was also able to pay online and split the check.

Le Shrimp Noodle Bar is one of my FAVORITE places to eat in all of Orange County. Seriously, if you're a shrimp lover and a ramen lover, this restaurant will leave you more than satisfied. The broth is so rich and flavorful, and has the same creaminess that traditional ramen has. You can tell that shrimp heads have been simmered for hours to make that broth, leading to the delicious complex flavors in every single bite. You can choose your noodles here, but I always go for the ramen noodles. The noodles are always cooked so perfectly, are bouncy, and grab onto the flavors of the broth so perfectly. Also, PSA: They have happy hour! I was able to get my bowl of shrimp noodles for only $13, which is largely discounted and a huge steal! I highly recommend checking their instagram to find the happy hour times, and to periodically see what other promotions they have running. I'm so excited that Le Shrimp Ramen is opening in Irvine Spectrum -- I really hope that it's just as good as this location. I will definitely be reviewing their new location once it opens up!

big prawn noodle (4.5/5) the broth tasted very shrimp-y and rich, i enjoyed it but not sure i'd be able to eat an entire bowl by myself. the ramen wasn't overcooked & i like how it included cabbage. the shrimp were big, perfectly cooked, and i loved how they keep the heads on! chicken shrimp spicy wontons (4.2/5) not pictured, they came out really fast and i forgot to take a photo. i personally don't love wontons, hence the lower rating but i do think this restaurant has better wontons than MANY other places. the wontons weren't overcooked, the shrimp in the filling was fresh and plump, and the sauce was pretty good too. i wish they were served hotter (temperature wise) and that they gave additional chili oil and vinegar to add though. overall, this place has very fresh and quality ingredients and i'm glad i got to try it out. the restaurant is smaller and more casual than i expected, you order through a QR code and you can pay right after ordering as well. service was really quick & i was in and out within 20-25 minutes!
