Saturday afternoon lunch: Not busy at all. We dined outside in the patio since we had a dog with us. Due to a lot of people dining and dashing out in the patio, they asked for a credit card to hold on to. Totally understand. Ordered a few rolls -crunch roll: shrimp tempura, cucumber -yuzu roll: spicy tuna & cucumber inside, yellowtail and avocado on top on the outside -salmon tempura roll: cooked salmon inside & cucumber -edamame with garlic -beef gyoza that free with yelp check in Everything was good. I didn't know that all the rolls had cucumber. I'm not a fan of cucumbers so I wouldn't opted without it. The garlic edamame was tasty. The prices were decent. About $7-$8 for the specialty rolls. Regular maki rolls are $4-$5. Service was friendly. Overall, good food with decent prices and service so I would come back. I wish they had more yellowtail based rolls.

Don't do it!!! They have only 1 waitress! She is running around all over the place. The phone rings off the wall!!! They are so busy taking care of phone orders, they ignore customers sitting at booth. The service is terrible! Go somewhere else or you will be sitting at your booth all night ! Or, order take out, you would be better off

Tried to give this spot another chance the website says it closes at 10:30 got her at 7:30 and there was a sign saying closed. Walked in anyway to see if it was really closed. The host didn't even make eye contact and was all mad that I even walked in and asked if it was really closed gave attitude and was like yeah we're closed, this was the second time this happened!! I was so frustrated especially with a crying baby in the car waiting. You guys should really update your hours online. I don't recommend this place the customer service is horrible.

Usually our go to spot. Was not good tonight . Everything was served in to go containers . Odd . Everything was smaller . And did taste as fresh . ... bummer . Time to find a new place

First time! 50% off all rolls, had the 911 roll and spider roll, both were outstanding! Service was fast and friendly. If you order the edamame, get the garlic one! Delicious!

50% off all rolls and sushi now problem is the prices increased on rolls up to $18 a roll so more like false adverising to me

They have changed their menu and the items they offer. Not super excited about the rolls they offer. I enjoyed the Summer roll the best which of course is not on the menu anymore. Our waiter seemed a bit tipsy and forgot things we asked him to bring. I ordered 2 hand rolls and ended up getting cut rolls instead. I did enjoy the Poki salad but when we asked for extra dressing we had to ask 3 times before they remembered to bring it. I don't think this place has made the right changes recently. I might go again but wouldn't make en effort if I'm not close by.

We order to go almost every Friday. Love the shrimp shumai. So disappointed it has been taken off the menu.

This place is amazing!!!!! Look no more. The service and food is great. The sushi is . Happy hour is amazing! For the price, it is worth it.

First the good. The sushi is tasty. Fresh and the rice is delicious. Probably too much spicy salmon for my taste, but otherwise the food is tasty. The problem is the service. We've eaten there a few times and I don't think we have ever been served in under an hour. Its not because its particularly busy. Just seems like the kitchen is inefficient. You will find yourself reminding the servers to check on your order, and the appetizers and entrees will be served in random order. (Edamame after dinner?). If you go with a group (or your family) some of you may be served long before others. We go with the hopes that we'll catch it when no one is there. With the location off of Harbor, thats never the case. So, Prepare to wait... a lot.

I usually scout out where to eat in advanced but we just moved to the area and on a whim decided to spontaneously eat somewhere. First off it was freezing and I heard customers around me saying the same thing but they kept all of their doors open. They put floor mats on the booth seats. The quality of everything we had was subpar down to the wasabi and ginger. The plate settings they gave us were really sticky. We had the double dragon roll and titanic roll. The rice had way too much mirin or sugar in it to where it was mushy and I could taste the sweetness. My boyfriend used their restroom and said his foot stuck to the floor with every step. The girls serving did a good job though but we will not be coming back.

Just okay. I wanted to try this spot for a long time eve tho my friend told me not to go after her experience but I dint listen so I went. I'm somewhat disappointed. Food was okay and prices were kinda high. Chirashi was $21 and should only be $12. Unagi was pretty good but the rolls was just okay. Service was so-so. For the prices I don't think it's worth it. There are much better places for the price. If fact there's a Maru Sushi (only same name) in Westminster that have the option for ayce for mid $20s and their food is very delicious.

Used to have the best happy hour around. Unfortunately, the prices, selection, and quality have declined over the past 2 years....I'd wager due to Covid. Still, it is not terrible...just not my favorite anymore.

Maru has gone down in service! One waiter for several tables , often forgot to bring us our sauces and drinks and this during happy hour. Food is probably the only saving grace

Rolls were fresh and very tasty. Staff was very welcoming and attentive. Glad I stopped in for lunch.
