First time Pho'. Loved it. Excellent food, great flavors and WOW a lot of food for your dollars. We will be regulars.Had the number 2, with skinny noodles. Make sure to add all the additional ingredients placed on the table. Thai Basil, Serracha, hosin sauce, pickled onions, jalapeños and bean sprouts.It was like fresh stir fry in a deeply rich beef broth that was not over salted. Thank you for that. Salt is way too over used but not here. I strongly recommend this place. If you're not real hungry you can split the number 2. We took it home and had it for leftovers and was still awesome!Enjoy!

Pho is a bit sweet, not as good as the other 2 locations.Service: the Mexican waitress was very cold and impolite. The Vietnamese guy was more welcoming.Would not come back.

C'mon phoholic, don't cut corners. You have the ability to make 5 star pho. Take the time to thaw the meat properly before serving. You wouldn't want to eat pieces of steak that are stuck into a ball and can still taste the bloodiness so neither would your customer. Take the time to cook your broth because it could be the best in OC but don't water it down when it gets busy. Also watch out for old veggies, I'd rather get a few less leaves than those that have turned brown.

The food is very good. However, the restaurant needs to educate their servers not to touch the food with their fingers when they serve the food. Apparently the server soak their thumb into the pho soup when they served the bowl of pho to the customers. This is very unhygienic.

Never disappointed by this phoholic location! I've tried the Stanton location twice and never thought it was that great but I've also tried this location at south coast twice and loved it both times! Not sure what's different between the two but glad I didn't give up on it! The service is great here, very fast to take our order which I like because we know what we want to order at this point (phở tái). The broth is full bodied and the meat is tender. If you come with a group of two you'll probably be seated at the bar which is really nice and intimate and has buttons to call the staff in case you need them. If you come with a bigger group you'll be led to the tables in the back which is more comfortable to socialize with friends or family. If you sit at the bar you'll pay at the counter where you checked in.

i've had phoholic at the original locations and was shocked to find that the broth at this location tasted completely different. it was way sweeter for one, but also very greasy and gritty like it hadn't been skimmed properly. i was shocked at the difference in quality especially since i've been to phoholic a number of times. you cant beat the price but definitely very disappointed to find the consistency is different among locations
It has to be quantity and price over quality and flavor that has people loving this place. I ordered the #1 steak pho and was not impressed. The broth was muddy looking and flavorless, maybe that's why people are dumping the chili oil in it. The steak tasted like the Steak-uum's frozen "meat" my mom bought in the 80's, it was also fatty and all stuck together in a clump - not very appetizing. The single seat with mini blinds is a cute idea but it felt awkward and prison like. I'd rather pay a few dollars more for a smaller better tasting bowl of pho than come here again for $13.

My go to! I live in Costa Mesa and 9/10 times I am super lazy to go to the original in Westminster or Rodeo 39. They open early and their food never disappoints. Even my father loves going to go eat there and he never ever wants to go anywhere. Their service is quick, the staff is super nice and I will forever keep coming back. And the place is super clean.

Really cool experience, never been to anything like it. They have shutters that they close when they're done talking to you. For privacy and to hide the kitchen area, I thought it was cool. Pho here was 10/10 I got the oxtail and steak wherever the popular one was, really yummy! It's tucked away in a corner at south coast plaza. Small spot, but wait wasn't bad. Service was nice and prompt as well. Food literally came out 5 mins max, very impressive!

Came here prob around 12 ish or earlier. Its like all the way in the back through bloomingdales and theres other food places like a mini foodcourt so its pretty crowded. We had a party of 5 and we had to wait but like half an hour tbh. But when we got seated we ordered pretty quickly and the food came out right away ngl. The pho came out before the side veggies lol, like the bean sprouts pickled onions and greens stuff. They gave ALOT of that stuff. The pho broth was honestly really good had great flavor. My only complain is that the noodles to meat ratio was not good lols. I ordered the steak one with the flat noodles and there was alot of meat and not enough noodles but its okay i guess. I dont remember how much it was but it wasnt too pricey im pretty sure. Service is decent, they are very quick and dont waste any time bc they are so busy and crowded.

This was a new spot for my husband and I, we really loved it. the broth was so delicious and the variety of choices of meats they have sound so good, the add ons for the pho really brings it all together such as the bean sprouts and mint leaves. The service was super fast too, they were really nice and very organized. I would really like to come here again to try something new from their menu!
