Food wasn’t bad but also not amazing, there as much better brunch places in OC with better menu offerings imo. Price is also on the higher end for items. Service was great though.

Food was just ok. The potatoes were horrible. Our waitress wasn’t great. The prices were much too high for the underwhelming experience.

Great service and excellent food! The cinnamon roll was giant and it was delicious. They also have good lattes with great latte art on them. I got the steak and eggs, it was very good, the wrap also looked very good.

The food was delicious and I was shocked when I walked up with my reservation and I was seated right away. Despite a long line of people waiting and a sign stating it could be a 90 min wait. Finally a place that understands what a reservation is. I went to this place quite a few years ago and thought it was over priced and too cramped. Today I thought the food was excellent, prices were quite normal for the area, and the services was outstanding. The venue is sadly cramped they do a good job with sound panels and outdoor seating but that can only do so much. However now knowing what I do I will visit again soon.

Breakfast at Plums is always a great choice! Started with the cinnamon roll ... amazing! And HUGE! Our entrees were tasty, mimosas were perfect and coffee fresh and hot. Our server, Consuela, was friendly and efficient. If you're in the area and looking for breakfast/brunch, I highly recommend. ?

Maybe today was just a bad day as it was a Sunday brunch which is probably the worst shift for any restaurants. The server and host seemed frazzled and not super friendly. We had a reso and they wanted to sit a 3 top at a 2 top table in that weird spot outsid their gated patio. Instead we got sat right next to a huge obnoxious birthday party. The Giant Cinnamon Roll is always amazing. I'm and idiot for ordering a Turkey Burger because it was bad and tasted like a premade patty. Will stick to omelettes. It was a really stressful brunch.

I finally tried their famous Dutch pancake, I was very disappointed. It was very greasy, I guess they fry it and you need to pay $6 extra if you want to have it with berries otherwise it's just the fried flour bowl and it won't look as pretty. (Almost $30). It's a nice place, service is great and my eggs Benedict were good.

I had never eaten here before, when I googled a breakfast restaurant I thought the food pictures looked delicious. Well I wasn't disappointed. The food was amazing. I will definitely be going back.

This was my friend Crysta, and my first experience at Plums Cafe. I do a lot of research before I go to a "new" restaurant because it's difficult to get quality time with my friends and I want to make sure their experiences (as mine are) are positive. The MANY positive reviews and references don't even say enough about how wonderful Plums Cafe is in every aspect of a beautifully functioning and well-respected dining establishment. The service, food and atmosphere were beyond fabulous. The menu offered so many palatable options that it was difficult to decide what to get but ensured that we will come back many times to so many other things. The service is incomparable. They have multiple servers taking care of you, including expediting your food. However, our main server was so friendly, professional and made sure we had a very positive experience not even realizing it...he was simply just doing his job and doing it well. I wish I had asked his name because I always make a point of it but I was so distracted. Sigh... When Crysta's food was placed in front of her first, I immediately wished I had gotten their glorious display of biscuits and gravy. THEN, I got my chocolate banana Belgium waffle and was very happy I had chosen that. I instantly knew (because I tasted it) that it was homemade whipped cream, and it was THE BEST I had ever had. AND they were not skimpy on it. The waffle was actually Belgium chocolate. We exchanged a bit of each-others food and I have never heard such yummy moans from 2 large bites of anything like her bites of my chocolate waffle. And I thoroughly enjoyed hers. I also liked how hers was presented on her plate. The flavor of my dish was so enjoyed on my palate that I didn't even use syrup. Yes...that good. So, to summarize, Plums Cafe is not just an extraordinary restaurant, it was an entire exceptionally and positive dining experience. I have another reservation already to bring my friend Nicole next week. That says it all!!!
