The people are quite nice yet the food is not authentic Mexican food. They use chili beans for every burrito and there is hardly any meat in it. For the expensive price of $15 each, it was not good at all.

Very eclectic Mexican restaurant in a vintage, totally redecorated, old taco bell building.Wet chorizo breakfast burrito and Pacifico beer...it was noon...both hit the spot, as they say!!The guy at the window, possibly the owner, was pleasant, friendly, and helpful.Heated enclosed patio area.It was a brisk day.Salsa bar area.Don't let the exterior of the building deter you from trying the place...in reality, the decor is interesting and entertaining, in its own right.Good meal, friendly service, entertaining atmosphere ? ?

Service is 0/5. They will serve people they know first; even though that person ordered after you and have a larger order than you . Food is good though.

Love this place. Often eat here when I work in Costa Mesa. It's quaint, the crew there are super friendly, and they remember your name. I like that. The food is delicious and plentiful. I always have leftovers. Would highly recommend!!

Al pastor tacos were good. They’re as close to the pastor I had in Mexico. The service was excellent. The people in the back had a great attitude. The food was great. I was overall very happy with my experience. 8.7/10Parking: Park in rear

So much love here... Everytime we walk through the doors on a Taco ? Tuesday evening you can feel the energy as you're greeted with a smile from the staff ready to take your order. Tacos are amazing and affordable, place is very accommodating to host our large recovery group after our meetings to feed our tribe. We have made this our new go to spot for fellowship. Thank you Taco Mesa for always being awesome ?? ????
Ultra mediocre food. The burrito was just meat and beans. Everything was priced very high given the bare bones basic flavor in everything. But I you like weird random stickers this is the place for you.

Love the tacos. Only outside seating and the parking lot is small. We usually park on the street and walk. You won't be disappointed! The shrimp tacos are my favorite!Parking: The lot is very small and it's usually full...because the food is so good!
Super friendly staff! Stone of the beast guacamole I've had at a restaurant - big chunks off avocado ?. The huevos rancheros was delicious and came with what looked & tasted like homemade flour tortillas - fabulous! The flan was very different from any I've had but, it was good - the creamy sauce with the flank was wonderful - I dipped my spoon into it before I thought to take the picture! Churros were very good and the chocolate dip was yummy.
