I walked into this place one evening totally spur of the moment, and since then it has become one of my favorite local places to eat. I eat here all the time now, they recognize me every time, the food is excellent and frankly the prices are great too. Yeah I cannot recommend this place highly enough, seriously. I like the tostadas, but everything they have is really good. 5 stars for sure.
I'm happy I returned to Pepe's today in West Side Costa Mesa. The Mulitas and tamales are delicious. This establishment is clean and welcoming with a friendly staff. I will continue to support this Costa Mesa family establishment.

I recently tried Pepes, and although they don't have a taco Tuesday special, I ordered some fish and shrimp tacos for the family and it was fabulous. Will definitely be going back. If you're a fish, shrimp/taco fan you got to give it a try. very hearty tacos and quality food. John.
