“I love this restaurant so much. I’ve been ordering from this restaurant since I went to school before covid, and during covid. Their food is always good quality, the restaurant is always clean. They always serve food fast and nothing is expensive!“

“This place has a special kind of vibe. It’s not about flashy decor or a high-end atmosphere, but it’s definitely cozy and welcoming. The food is surprisingly good for what you pay. It’s not the kind that will make a food critic go crazy, but it has its wow moments. That said it rivals some of the best in the North Bay. The real deal here is how much care you can feel all around. They keep the menu interesting with new kinds of fish and sake, which is pretty cool for a place that’s been around for a while. The staff is great at explaining the menu and sorting out anything you need to make your meal just right. Oh, and a nice touch – the owner was at the door to wish us a good night when we left. Made us feel really taken care of.“

“The food was delicious, very fresh, looked beautiful. The robot is a neat tool for delivering sushi. That's pretty cool. There was one server literally sprinting upstairs and downstairs to try to help everybody. On one hand, we didn't get the correct amount of silverware for the people at our table and didn't see our server for 15 minutes at a time. On the other hand, the poor lady was trying to run the whole ship herself. So based off of one person serving an entire two-level restaurant, it would be a seven Stars out of five. As far as my actual experience receiving service not so great. If I were to do this again I would just get my food to go. Also, I have no idea who picked the music or the volume for the music but both were a bad choice. It was the strangest loudest music. We had to yell to hear each other over the table. Also heads up the miso comes in like a double wall stainless steel bowl maybe so it feels safe to eat touching from the outside but it's way hotter on the inside.“

“My family and I came in to celebrate my niece's birthday. We had such a wonderful experience! We were seated as soon as we walked in and were able to order right away. We were impressed by the cleanliness, the ambiance, and the kind service. They even had a robot delivering our food to us. Besides the service and ambiance, the food was exceptional. The sashimi was so buttery and fresh, serving sizes were pretty big and overall prices were fair! My niece got a huge cup of green tea icecream for her birthday that was delicious. Another bonus is that they offer military discount! Overall, such a phenomenal dining experience and we will definitely be back!“

“Hana did not disappoint, as we were recommended this place by multiple people. We ordered the chawanmushi, a variety of nigiri, spicy edamame, maitake, shumai, finished off with the cheesecake & black sesame icecream. Everything tasted fresh. Can’t wait to come back.“

“A few weeks ago, I was in the area for work meetings. I wanted Japanese food but I'm not a big fan of sushi or sashimi. I did a google search and decided to go to Kyoto based on their menu options. I immediately knew I made the right choice when I saw sukiyaki on the menu. I also ordered the hamachi kama & goyza. The food was delicious authentic Japanese cuisine. I've traveled to Japan numerous times and the food was very reminiscent of those trips. The service was also amazing. I noticed that every customer (dine in/take out) that came in seemed to be regulars. They knew the staff by their first name. Although I did not have any sushi or sashimi, I did see a lot of people ordering/enjoying those dishes, so I don't doubt that their raw options are yummy as well.“

“Best sushi in Santa Rosa! We always get fast and friendly service. The sushi is made with fresh ingredients and you can definitely taste the difference. We appreciate they don't smother all the rolls with a bunch of sauce like other sushi restaurants. The ingredients are always fresh and clean . We pick up all the time and we've never been disappointed. I have two young picky eaters and they love Kamura! They won't eat sushi from anywhere else ( I've tried) ...but they gobble this stuff down quick! This is our favorite restaurant.“

“Come here with $15-20 sometimes and really enjoy myself. Never too crowded, never too sad here. I really enjoy their food and feel it has gotten better as well as their service. Sometimes it’s hard for them to crank out 10 orders and DoorDash but bro, it’s two people 95% of the time.Anyways, hope this place does well. I enjoy it and for something quick I think it sets in really nice for where it’s at right now. Hope they continue to improve! Accommodating staff, decent food, good vibes! ?“

“We wanted to try a new sushi place, this is going to be our new favorite! We tried the gyoza, Dragon Roll, Hamachi Lovers roll, and the Tropical Dream roll. Everything was delicious and very fresh (which is saying something since we went towards closing time on a Monday night). The service was very friendly and the prices were very reasonable. Great spot for date night!“

“We were looking for a local place to have a nice sit down lunch today. After reading the reviews we decided this would be the place. It did not dissapoint; the food was delicious. It was also an extra special treat to see the owner cook us our meal. I had the Salmon & Avocado Bento. My wife had the Chicken Ramen. We will definatley be back. They have a lot of menu choices that look tasty and filling.“

“I'm a new resident to the neighborhood and after a visit here tonight, Bluefish is now on my list of local go-to spots. My partner and I shared a seaweed salad, a few kinds of nigiri, an albacore roll and a hamachi hand roll - all was fresh and generously portioned. I especially appreciate that for the hand roll they dice the fish and so it's much easier to eat and handle compared to what is usually a sashimi cut rolled up in a sheet of nori. Here's the thing one should know about Bluefish - the fish selection is pretty limited and standard, which could be a little boring for those wanting nigiri or sashimi. That said it's all very fresh and the nigiri is the right fish-to-rice ratio. If you really like rolls this is your place as they have a couple dozen options. Being a Tuesday evening the place was quiet with just a few tables - the service was attentive and competent and the food came out quickly. The dark wood and warm lighting make it easy to forget you're in a strip mall next door to a CVS. I will definitely be back.“

“The guy at the register was personable and helpful. We had a large order, so.it took a little while to get our food, but it was well worth the wait. They gave us some extra spicy sauce for our spicy bowls, and it was very good. The spicy pork bowl and spicy chicken bowls were both large serving and impressively seasoned and flavors. The gyoza was crunchy on the outside with a fairly large amount of filling. The Thai rolls were great. My wife loved the chicken katsu. All of the food seemed to be fresh, and prepared well. The salads had a sweet vinegar type dressing, and the vegetables were fresh and crisp. Last but not least, their sushi list is lengthy and full of diverse options. Overall a great place to get thai/korean food. I will definitely be a return customer.“

“This is really a good restaurant and it’s located on Farmer’s in Santa Rosa, CA. I had originally gone to another restaurant but they were so “full” and I just wanted to get a meal to go and be out of there. I ordered the Shrimp & Chicken Udon Noodles box which consisted of the Udon Noodles, kale, bean sprouts, steamed rice, side salad with cucumbers and tomatoes with a Japanese dressing. A soup with tofu & green onions in a bone beef broth. Also, I order the Jumbo Tempura Shrimp and it came with a teriyaki sauce. A very good meal with large portions. Friendly staff & a clean environment which is very important to me.“

“Really good sushi, fresh fish, veteran sushi chef Gilbert takes great care of his customers at the sushi bar. As far as menu pricing goes, Makizushi lands on the affordable side of the sushi spectrum. New owner is a young entrepreneur, doing a great job!“

“Thank you to all of the reviewers, we also loved this delicious, clean, friendly restaurant! Everything was super fresh, delicious and carefully presented, plenty of food. Hot food was piping hot and Chirashi Bowl was full of fresh, nice & cold sashimi. Just an FYI; the Korean vegetable pancake while delicious is a bit greasy and tea very flavorless (pass on tea). Restaurant, tables, seats, all plates and cups were modern and super clean! The restaurant has large flat screens on each wall to watch sports (golf/soccer were on 02.13.24).Thank you so much!!!Photos;-Chirashi Bowl-Korean Vegetable Pancake-2 Item Bento (Tonkatsu & Tempura)“

“Hands down, this place is my favorite sushi spot ever! ? Why, you ask? The freshness of the fish is something you've got to experience to believe. It's like they pluck it right out of the ocean and onto your plate. And don't even get me started on their fresh wasabi – it's a game-changer, elevating every bite with that perfect kick.Yes, it's a tad pricier than your average sushi joint, but trust me, it's worth every penny. The quality, the flavors, the whole experience – it's just really, really good. You can taste the care and craftsmanship in each roll and nigiri. If you're a sushi lover looking for that next-level taste experience, do yourself a favor and check this place out. The combination of fresh fish, real wasabi, and impeccable sushi craftsmanship makes it an unforgettable dining adventure. Worth it? Absolutely!“

“This is hands-down my favorite sushi spot in Petaluma. The quality is always great and the prices are very reasonable. It's a kid-friendly spot to introduce them to sushi, with great vegetarian options in addition to the fish. The staff is the friendliest in town and they really go out of their way to make everyone feel like family.“

“This place is exceptional. The miso soup is usually an afterthought at many places, but it really shines here. We got a variety of rolls, including some daily specials (California roll topped with Eel was a stand out) and some standby rolls. The Carburetor roll, while not the most appetizing name is worth ordering. My favorite roll at any sushi restaurant is Salmon Skin, and this was probably the best I have had almost anywhere. Little bits of nicely seasoned belly meat and crispy skin were honestly the star and everyone at the table really liked it. The pink lady was the only roll that didn't rock me, but the quality of the tuna in there was undeniably good I had just never tried the soy wrap and I missed the seaweed flavor. All in all fantastic quality and price. Would recommend.Vegetarian options: Vegan rolls and specials abound with a few other options.Parking: Small on site lot, on street parking.Kid-friendliness: There were plenty of kids in there early. No kids menu, but they had some kid friendly rolls like fried chicken and veggie rolls.“

“Tiny little place. Slight look of horror when asking for a table of 6. But while a bit tight the service is second only to the quality of the food. Which may be some of the best in SR. Should note I had Korean BBQ not the sushi but I definitely have made this a special occasion destination.Parking: Super cheap garage right across the street. Maybe 1.25 for the time I was there.“

“I recently visited Oyama and tried their tonkotsu ramen, gyoza and dragon roll. While the food was delicious, I must admit that the service was not up to par. Once seated, I had to wait for an extended period before a server came to take my order. Despite the lackluster service, the food itself was exceptional. The ramen was flavorful and had a rich broth that was perfectly seasoned. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the toppings added a nice touch to the overall dish. It was evident that they put a lot of effort into creating a delicious bowl of ramen. While, the food at this restaurant was undeniably good, the subpar service left a sour taste in my mouth. It's a shame that the lack of attentiveness overshadowed the delicious ramen. I hope the restaurant takes steps to improve their service in the future, as it would greatly enhance the overall dining experience.“

“Food is really good, the price seems to me a little steep, but doable. The atmosphere I kinda felt like I was unwelcome just a really bad vibe, I'm thinking it's because my skin color is different, other than that I would eat it again. Just this time I will call it in, so I can be in and out without much “

“The food here is always fresh and hefty. I had the dinner all you can eat special. I was full. I wish I had more room in my tummy to fit more food during the time I was there. The service was good except for that other tables who ordered after us got their meals before we got ours. They have a restroom for the customers and metered parking is available when it is not during peak hours for the area. Thank you.Vegetarian options: There are definitely a few vegetarian dishes to choose from and are really delicious too!“
