Been wanting to try this place for a while finally had a night out to give it a shot. Gauge and Ashley were awesome super friendly, made us feel more than welcome. gave us some great recommendations. Will definitely be back soon.

stopped by this place in Covina, because a friend Brian recommended it. omg, so glad I did ! I had the brisket cheese , i was so satisfied!!! It also came with fries , however, I opted for the sweet potato fries which were a great portion and so tasty !! I really enjoyed the greeting, the wait staff were so awesome and friendly. I felt very comfortable enjoying my Sunday afternoon meal and listening to great music from my Era.!!! great music selection !! whi needs a dj !!! lol. I definitely will be returning soon. !! This is a local gem for sure !! highly recommended. the menu was great, got to come check it out !!! great ambience, great food, great personally, great drinks !!! what more can you ask for ?

First time here. I can say it was nice & clean. Bartender was very friendly and made excellent drinks. I order the short rib grilled cheese ( bartender recommended it), it came with fries. The whole meal lack flavor. It was so bland. I was recommended to come here by a friend so I was expecting good food. Won't go back. However the flat bread was ok. Thanks to the bbq sauce or that would probably be bland also.

"Horrible" is all we can say about this once great dinning/food/drinks/entertainment establishment. It's unfortunate the owners let it go to the wayside as we used to enjoy their food, drinks & Dj music on Fridays. A recent visit has revealed its since then crashed/burned as indicative of the lousy flat bread pizza, warm caesar chicken salad & absolutely appalling flat draft beer & green dye cucumber margarita! (disgusting/unacceptable) The only thing good they had to offer was the die hard servers that continued to provide great service but we do recommend they move on to bigger/better places.C'mon peeps cut your losses & go out in style with the legacy you built! Can't wait to see what's next in store for the City of Covina restaurateurs...We do not recommend this restaurant at all!

I enjoyed the service here but the food was okay. The dining experience was neither exceptional nor disappointing. While it has its moments of culinary delight, there are also areas where improvement is needed. The shrimp salad was lacking a little bit of a flavor.

Everytime I come to City Grill I get a burger... and everytime it's delicious! To be honest, I have never tried anything else here but I don't feel the need to because the burger is so great and fairly cheap. As far as the service goes, I once got offered a free shot on my birthday which was a nice surprise.
Had green chili fries and had meat but the meat chili and cheese were refrigerated cold. Had the blackened shrimp tacos but the problem with these is it only had 2 little shrimp per taco and everything else was filler. And finally also had 1/2 chicken which comes with mashed potatoes. It was mediocre at best. For $33 I expected great flavor but that's just me. Just not worth the $64. Food presentation was nice.

City Grill is the ideal spot for sports fans. Watching the Buffalo Bills game there was an experience in itself, amplified by the exceptionally friendly and attentive service from the bartender. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a game. The warmth and professionalism of the staff, particularly the bartender, added a personal touch to the experience, making City Grill a memorable destination for any sports event.

Swung by this place with my family after the car show today. Party of 10. The vibe felt cool, but once we sat down everything went down hill from there. I gave the waitress a heads up it would be 3 checks. 3 separate families. It took a while for us to get our drinks, when the waitress came over it was to take our food order, thought it was funny in my mind cause we haven't been asked about drinks yet. I ordered the $40 pork chop meal. It came with more fries, and 1 small pork chop! Was very disappointed. Both my sisters families got their meals, my wife and i got our meals, and it wasn't until we all were close to done eating and 3 heads up to our waitress that my daughter hasn't received her meal yet (a flatbread pizza). And through our whole meal, not once did our waitress check to see if anyone needed a refill. The waitress said that she didn't put in my daughter's order in yet; because she had a question. But in between everything she was doing, she forgot to come ask my daughter. Smh When I received the bill, she still had the audacity to put my daughter meal on our check. No problem, I paid it without complaining. Just will NEVER be back! And I would advise you all to try any other restaurant over there in the downtown area. Maybe only swing by here if you just want to catch a game and have a beer.
