i had been here 1 time w 2 other frenz previously but left after just grabbin 1 drink cuz it wasnt exactly our vibe + da crowd is much older fast4ward a year later, somebody who had been chattin w me from online asked 2 meet me in person a few times & we finally met up inda plaza kinda across from this place & after couple drinks, we challenged each other 2 couple games of pool ~ he picked this place cuz it was nearby still not really my vibe but da bartender seems kool & i asked em 2 turn on 2 espn, as im a huge NBA fanatic ~ pool table takes coins 2 play & da table itself + da cue stix r just meh but da crowd that late afternoon was friendly/nice

Came In here after having dinner next door for my boyfriend's birthday. I heard decent reviews about this bar so I was looking forward to checking it out for the first time. As soon as me and my fam walked it, it felt like all eyes were on us. We immediately got the dirtiest look from the bartender (older lady) and was stared down as we approached the bar. She asked us for ID's right away which is understandable. I guess we were on the "younger" side 27 years old and up from the average crowd inside but she was so dam rude I couldn't believe it. I used to be a bartender myself so I was really thrown off the way she was speaking to us. Didn't enjoy our first time there. Hopefully next time I do try it out, there's a different bartender.

Looking for a place to have some drinks on Christmas night not many places open we came to elvies. Let me tell you I've never seen this bartender before her name is Alexus. She was absolutely amazing. Handled the whole bar by herself. Her energy was amazing. Greeted us with a smile. I don't get that very often at this place. Besides her being busy we were never waiting on drinks something I usually do a lot at this place. Coming back just to see her!

Alexus closed by herself on CHRISTMAS!! she did an amazing job ! Busy but super attentive!! By herself with a packed bar!! Unbelievable!! She kept smiling her entire busy shift!

It's a great bar , good vibe . I always have a good time but Kat the bartender is so unfriendly and grouchy. I don't understand why an owner would allow a bartender to represent their business that way. There are many qualified bartenders that truly enjoy their profession . It's a shame that an employee can ruin your patrons night where we spend our money. I think it's time that she retire and leave the bar scene to someone that will make our experience fun .

My very first bar 23 years ago and still a favorite of mine to visit. Always a chill crowd and drinks are strong and reasonably priced. Also shout out to my old high school classmates that currently run things up here now!
Walked passed by it and decided to go inside and have a Long Island iced tea. Cat who was the bartender made my drink from scratch. Each single alcohol shot poured into a highball. She was also very nice and friendly. Definitely coming back.

Came here a couple weekends ago and it was PACKED! couldn't even walk through the place. There was a DJ playing and it was one of the bartender's birthdays so that's probably why lol but the drinks were cheap and strong. They have a pool table and darts. Might be a good hangout on another day when it's not so crowded

I'm new to this side of town, and I'm a huge bar goer, but I've never experienced an unprofessional experience like I did tonight. After contributing to this establishment for more than 3 hours, I was met with the bartender Jasmin, who refused to serve me one more beer after their last call announcement shortly after. I waited for her to address me for my final drink,and she refused; even though I kindly waited for her to finish serving all the other customers. The gentleman I was talking to all night sitting next to me asked for another drink and reminded her of my order, and she brought his scotch shot and totally ignored my requests. I relished she was too occupied and probably didn't hear, or she suffered of a hard hearing disability; hence there was no loud music playing. I mentioned it to her once more when she locked eyes and she then took the shot of the guy sitting next to me away and stated she can't serve him. I then assumed she really couldn't serve us anymore, and she closed my tab and had me sign off. She immediately handed the guy's shot back to him after I had closed my tab and laughed. I was beyond upset and disturbed. I still don't understand her motives for conducting such inappropriate behavior. I believe I was targeted by her inability to treat each customer equally and this type of service shouldn't be praised nor accepted. Individuals like Jasmin should not be working at these types of businesses if customers are their top priority and reputation. I will definitely spread the word about Jasmin and her disgusting and inappropriate behavior. No one should experience an unjust experience at such a cultural and diverse establishment. Jasmin echoes the attitude and behavior of an individual that lacks training and experience. I hope this business addresses this issue with the most common sense and action.

Quite surprised how clean, nice & roomy this bar is! Expected to see bar flies, sticky counters & have a musty smell. To my Surprise I was totally WRONG!!We happened to stumble in while waiting for Brunch @ Mexican restaurant next door. Very friendly female bartender on a Sun. Morning made us a killer spicy Bloody Mary. Cool place w/ plenty of TV's to catch a game & a pool table for your entertainment.

Elvie's Inn has really great drinks at a great price. The bartender was very sweet and the service was great. It's always 5 o'clock there thanks to the broken clock on the wall. The decor is very cute and they have a pool table, which is really all a dive bar needs. It's no wonder they've been open for so long!
