Food was phenomenal, we always gone to Pollo Loco for years but now we found this hidden gem and doesn't compare, definitely spicy which I love. Service was terrific as well and chicken was juicy! Coming back for sure

The chicken here is amazing. Ordered the spicy quarter chicken. got 3 breast and I leg with it for a little extra. it actually had a good spice to it. The meat was tender and juicy. It came with tortillas, and I got potato salad and rice. It came with 2 salsas also. I called it in to go and when I got there it was ready. Man working was incredibly nice. Prices are great for how much food you get

Los Pollos del Pueblo is a delicious chicken restaurant. I have stopped by on several occasions to pick up lunch or dinner. The flavor of the chicken has been consistent. The owner is usually at the front helping customers. He is nice and always asks how I am doing. I usually get the 2 piece combo with potato salad, rice, and tortillas. The chicken is spicy and juicy. They also have a non-spicy option. Their salsas have a good flavor. The red one is spicy. The inside is spacious with plenty of seating. I like the bright yellow walls and decorations. I will stop by again when I need my chicken fix.

Had a great first experience here! Friendly service. Quick turn around time. We had spicy and regular 16 piece. The Chicken is moist and so flavorful. Spicy is actually spicy so if you don't absolutely love a kick get the regular. That was my personal preference. Also, get the beans. I made the mistake of only getting one container because I thought they would be your average run of the mill pintos but I would seriously go back just for the beans. Rice too actually. Soft, fluffy, perfectly cooked and delicious! $44 dollars fed three of us for two days so can't beat the value.

This is like El Pollo Loco, but two steps up. Higher quality, pieces are larger, and the insides of the chicken are always moist and full of flavor. They have an eight-piece (whole chicken) meal for about $20 that comes with two sides. The side options that they have are rice, beans, potato salad, and coleslaw. This place has perfected the sides, too, in that they're perfectly seasoned. The meal comes with salsa and choice of corn or flour tortilla.

Very good chicken. Like that they have the spicy chicken option and that you can order half spicy and half regular for the kids :) the sides were good as well. I bought it for a party recently and everyone was impressed with the chicken !

It was late, about 20 minutes before closing. I walked in and was greeted by the gentleman there in a very friendly manner. I ordered the 8 piece with sides. Got home and my wife and I absolutely loved and finished every bit of it. Great food, great service. Will be back soon

This mom's and pops chicken spot is . I got the spicy chicken and the flavor packs a punch. It's not too spicy for the other people who can't handle spicy food it's just the flavors and spices are spot on. If it gets spicy just add a lil lemon and pow there u go. As for the sides, the rice was good, potatoe and macaroni salad were good as well.Give it a try if you in Covina area and forgot Pollo Loco.

I've only been here once but the chicken was far better than any experience I've ever had in my many years of eating at El Pollo Loco and Juan Pollo. This will be my new go to spot for this type of chicken. It was juicy and flavorful. ( I got the spicy.) I haven't had a chance yet to try all of the other menu items, but the chicken is delicious. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.
