The pupusas here are pretty good! They give a generous portion of toppings and they are fresh to order. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

I had the worst Salvadoran food I've ever had in my life here. I've waited a long time to receive greasy bananas with black bean water with a side of a sorry greasy masa pupusa. Please don't even step foot in this nightmare of a food establishment.

This is hands down the best Salvadorean food in the Covina/Azusa. I have tried multiple different spots and this is always the one that I compare them to. I am Salvadorean and the food here taste just like my mom made. Everything is delicious but the pupusas are the best I have ever had. Got three Pupusas and an agua de ensalada! Very delicious! My bf and I love it here! Definitely a must have! The service was amazing everyone is very nice and are greeted as soon as you walk in!

I found this place to be delicious. I've only tried the pupusas revueltas and plátanos con cream y frijoles. They were both delicious. My partner also enjoyed the pupusa de queso y jalapeño, says it was good. It's hard to find an authentic Salvadorean restaurant around this area, so I recommend this place. The only downside is, it's really small. Only a few tables, so maybe call ahead if you have a large party to dine in. They seem to be low in staff as well but be patient! The food is great :)

I come here all the time when I crave pupusas. I usually get the bean and cheese pupusas with ensalada, and they are always freshly made. They have plenty of other dishes that I have yet to try and they have a good seating area. It is a bit of a wait but if you want to avoid that, I recommend calling in advance so by the time you get there your food will be ready and fresh! Also, prices are very inexpensive so that's a plus!!
This was our 1st time eating at this place we placed the order and picked it up to eat home the curtido had no flavor and the cabbage was not fermented enough it was hard. The pupusa was very thick under cooked with very little filling. Not worth trying sorry. I will continue to drive out to Duarte to el salvadoreno. I did call the restaurant to advise them but they were hesitant in offering a solution and honestly I wouldn't even accept them to remake it. I have tried it out and I will not go back either way

The place has old chairs and tables and I think it just opened. Ok, they are starting so maybe they will take care of the anesthetics later. I decided to try it anyways. I ordered 1 pupusa, plantains with beans and cream, and empanadas de leche. The pupusa was good but not great. But, it was fine. The curtido needed help. I added salt to it but it still needed more flavor. The plantains- some were hard and not edible. Some were perfectly cooked. The beans were no good. They were runny and no flavor. Definitely the worse thing I tried. The empanadas... the plantain part was dry. The custard had good flavor but all together they needed more sugar inside... more flavor. They were dry and plain. I didn't even eat 1 whole one out of the 3. If i see good reviews in the future i would try it again. They just opened. Hopefully, they will read reviews and improve the food. There is room for improvement. And then, replace all those ugly tables and chairs.
