This family restaurant has a wide selection of items on their menu to choose from! Have eaten here many times. Servers are fast & attentive! The food is great! Love the mural on the wall with the woods & bears etched on it! A great place to dine that has a “mountain feel”!

Great experience!As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile. They sat us down where we wanted, our waiter was super helpful and was always on top of things. All of our meals were delicious we will definitely come back.

We have returned several times to The Bear House. We enjoy the Friday night Prime Rib special. Our prime rib is cooked to perfection. We want to try other meals, but it's hard to not have the prime rib again. It's welcoming when we arrive, greeted by several staff with smiles and an inquiry about good to see you again and how are you. Service is prompt, food comes hot, the restaurant is clean. If your looking for good food and friendly and comfortable atmosphere, this is your place.

I heard that they’re taking over The Cottage and couldn’t be more disappointed. Really hope they keep The Cottage recipes. We do not need another Bear House, do they really think they are so popular that they need two locations?? Ew. The Cottage regulars will notice if the food is totally different, we’re not idiots and there ARE other restaurants we can go to. No one goes to the cottage OR the Bear House for the ambiance , but at least The Cottage has good food lol. Do yourself a favor and try The Cottage before it’s gone.

We dined in for Breakfast. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was plentiful and very very tasty. I nixed one point because my Shirley Temple needed a bit more Shirley to it. However the steak was cooked perfectly...and them country taters were bombdiggity.Definitely will.be back often.
Really nice people here! I had a mushroom swiss burger, and it was great. Crispy french fries.My brother had a Reuben that he liked a lot... And we had some beer. Good times.Harley is a great waitress, and super friendly!! Go check her out.Sergio seemed cool too.

We ate here twice while staying in Crestline. Both times the food was very good. The service was a little slow, but we weren't in a hurry so it wasn't that big of a deal. Staff was very friendly.

This place would get 5/5 stars if they stepped up their aesthetic a bit but this place has great food, an awesome menu selection, is down to earth, and has a bar area that is separated from the family dining area. Service can be spotty at times but for a small town diner that gets super busy I think they hold down the fort very well and should be given some grace! Have been here multiple times and will definitely be back!
