We came in with a large group of 8 without any reservations on a weekend, and they were able to accommodate us right away (although i do recommend making a reservation when possible). The food is great! I love their omelette's and french toast! Will be back again!

Wonderful little spot, perfect for a Brunch Date en route to the MarVista farmers market. Great customer service and flavorful meals.

I have eaten at this cafe numerous times when it was on Overland in Culver City and in its new location in Mar Vista. Food is always excellent, staff is friendly and helpful. One of my favorites.

The food was great, the service was very friendly and warm and the cafe was lovely. I wish I took more photos, the potatoes au gratin was excellent and crepe was perfect! Great spot in Mar Vista, this is definitely one of my favorites! Angel and the rest of the crew made us feel at home

Love this place! The portions are large and the food is delicious. My only comment is I wish they were open for dinner!

Service is a little slow but the servers are very friendly. Food is good. Place is a little crowded though.

Just wanted to be sure you try their raspberry jam! I hadn't been back since the restaurant moved to its new location (miss that gorgeous patio!) on Venice and can't say enough about their homemade raspberry jam. Worth a visit for this alone! Sadly they don't sell it. Maybe someday...

Service was good but the pancakes were nasty. Very bland, no flavor, and the syrup was acidic.

Super duper good. Kid's menu is great. The people working here are very nice and profesional. The only downside is the music, doesn't feel like it is aligned with the vibe of the restaurant.

Robby and his staff are top notch! Excellent food and service. Love that they call Ann, (my MIL:) their favorite VIP. She's a regular!

I loved this place post swim when they were in Culver. We were super excited to see them a block away. We eat breakfast at the restaurant pretty regularly now. Sometimes order take out lunch. The staff are always attentive. Food has been consistently great. My only complaint is they do not say anything to ppl who park in the bike lane verse the metered parking when picking up food. As part of a community, helping customers understand what they are doing is dangerous to others would be a great help to the community their restaurant is a part of. Maybe they do not understand the danger to a cyclist or want to upset a customer or inconvenience them in moving their car, yet it is an important responsibility.

This is our favorite brunch spot. Jose is one of the most friendly waiter. We use to go every Sunday for brunch, but we moved. We came back after 1 year and a half, and Jose is still there serving with a smile and remembers us. The food is amazing, great espresso, and the obvious great service. I wish they would consider opening up one in the bay area .

We loved Cafe Laurent. Had a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs, potatoes au gratin, crisp bacon, baguette, chocolate almond croissant, coffee. Everything was delicious. Service was great and it's a cozy place with easy street parking.

Venice has no shortage of cafes to choose from, and in living here I've come to have very high expectations for brunch. I've probably tried most of the area's options, from the mediocre-yet-somehow-popular places like Urth Cafe and Superba, to the more solid options like Bluestone Lane and Zinque. Cafe Laurent stands out from the rest, and is the only place where I can be a regular for these reasons: 1. Unique - most cafes fall into two buckets. In bucket A are the options prepared the same way at every other restaurant. Boring. In bucket B are the restaurants that try too hard to be creative, and in doing so compromise the taste of their menu options. Not only is Cafe Laurent creative, but all the flavors and textures in their dishes complement each other. To the extent of my knowledge, you won't find this type of uniqueness and execution elsewhere. 2. Consistency- I've eaten here enough times to be able to expect that whatever I order will be good, every single time. The food is always well prepared. Never under/overcooked, never stale, and always fresh. Special shoutout to any of their bread options. They make their bread items with the quality of a dedicated bakery.
