Their breakfast burrito is something to die for. Loaded the burrito with meat and the person at the counter was genuinely nice. He treated us like we were regulars.

Got the wrong burrito. Paid extra for Carne asada but got home and it ended up being shrimp. Am allergic to shrimp would have gone back for a refund but it took me 20 minutes to find parking and I don't want to deal with that again. That's about $17 down the drain.

Really good food, can't complain about that. Although the price is kinda high for tacos, so make sure you have money ? in the bank. Bank buster $$$$

Cerveteca is a hidden gem for taco aficionados, seamlessly blending traditional flavors with a modern twist. Upon entering, the vibrant decor and welcoming atmosphere promise an authentic culinary experience, which Cerveteca undoubtedly delivers. The star of my visit was the Carnitas tacos. Each bite was a symphony of succulent pork, perfectly seasoned, and cradled by homemade tortillas that were both tender and flavorful. It was one of those rare dining moments when you wish you had ordered more, not because of portion size, but because the experience was so delightful.Accompanying my meal, the horchata was a revelation—creamy, perfectly sweet, and infused with just the right amount of cinnamon. It was refreshingly authentic, serving as the perfect palate cleanser between bites of the rich, savory tacos. No visit to Cerveteca would be complete without indulging in their churros. These weren't just any churros; they were a dessert epiphany. Crispy on the outside, yet soft and airy inside, each piece was coated with a divine blend of sugar and cinnamon. Dipping them into the accompanying chocolate sauce was the culinary equivalent of a warm hug.In summary, Cerveteca is more than a taco shop; it's a celebration of Mexican cuisine, where every dish tells a story of tradition and passion. A must-visit for anyone looking to satisfy their cravings for authentic, mouthwatering Mexican fares.

The breakfast burrito doesn’t mess around! STUFFED with eggs, hash browns, bacon, all very fresh / high quality. Even better than Tocaya IMO. Torta is solid but not mind-blowing. Agua fresca is pretty good. Their mild salsa is incredible. Salsa servings are super small but I was able to get additional ones for free. The aesthetic of this shop is pretty cool, reminds me of a San Diego joint.

I have a love/hate relationship with this place. I regularly order their breakfast burritos for delivery or take out on mornings after fun, late nights out. When they get it right, it’s SOOOOOO good. But unfortunately, there’s a 50/50 chance it turns out not great. The Madre sauce is a delicious, creamy hot sauce concoction that comes in a tiny plastic to-go cup. Definitely not enough for an entire burrito. You need 2 min.Whenever we order delivery, no matter what we say or do, we often get less than 1 sauce for each burrito. We put it in the notes. We order and pay for extra that never comes. We’ve called after placing the delivery order and asked them to make sure we get 2 for each burrito. Nothing works. So we’ve been doing pick up now so we can get the 2 ramekins required for each burrito. On to the burrito itself:If you don’t ask, the don’t thoroughly mix the filling. You end up with egg on one end, potato in the middle, and a clump of bacon and a small glob of beans in the last few bites. So we always include that in our instruction and again it’s 50/50 that it’ll happen. All the ingredients are super tasty (why we keep coming back + that sauce) but in a burrito all the fillings should be evenly distributed throughout so each bite is varied and delicious. The worst part is half the time the burrito is poorly wrapped and doesn’t hold together. The whole allure of a burrito is being it being a hand held pocket of yum. The attached pics are of my latest burrito. There’s a huge gash on one side and the other shows that all the ends are just mushed together and not expertly wrapped. I had to eat it on a plate with a fork and knife because everything just fell out.I keep going because it’s close and when it’s good, it’s really good.
