Great vibes and options!

Great place for unique pizza at Gary's Woodfired Pizza in the food court. Unique pizza with Brooklyn soul and California ingredients. Music, outside seating, roof-top bar and dining, informal and fun. Ask for the 'white pizza' for something special.

Great food & drinks. Lots of options. I love the roof-top patio. Great spot for gathering friends.

Found the portions to be small and the prices to be high. Food quality was little better than ordinary fast food. Refusal to take cash adds to the general inconvenience of the venue. If one kiosk has the food, you have to go to another kiosk for the beverage you want. Seating is minimal and rustic (chairs invariaby wobble on the uneven floors). Overall feeling is like eating at food trucks pulled together in a parking lot. Though food trucks often have a better quality of food. OK for a younger crowd maybe, but very disappointing if you are looking to enjoy a real meal. Would not go back.

Yesss another dope food hall! LA never fails to impress me. Citizen Public Market is newer and smaller, but makes up for its size in style and quality. Entering the former news bureau, you're immediately met with twinkling lights and lively merriment, an animated scene all around-- the food hall definitely breathes new life into this block. Cuisine variety is great, plus a rooftop bar to follow. The place is pretty tidy for a food court. The only thing I'd wish for is more seating...! People watch like hawks to snatch up seating as soon as it opens up. NOTE: During our short visit, we had the misfortune of being accosted by an absurdly drunk regular. L O L. I mention this only to praise how discreet the staff were at deescalating and diverting her attention. They were clearly trained in this situation and prioritize other patrons feeling safe.

Went there to meet up with some friends. I only got an iced cafe latte with oat milk. They make their own oat milk and that is nice! The pricing was fine. I can tell it was with fresh beans. Overall the drink was real thick and tasty! The atmosphere was real friendly and comfortable. My friends and I were there for about an hour and it was great! We were only outside on the first floor, which was great! However, we all decided to walk upstairs when we were done and realized there's a total area to hang out on the second floor! Next time I think I'll take advantage of that next time! Thanks for a great drink and atmosphere!!

Cute place for a date!! I loved the bar upstairs and it's a good place to go if you don't all want the same thing.

A pretty cool market with different type of restaurants inside. Vibe is cool and a nice place to grab some food and hangout. A lot of the food looked pretty good.

Came at 9pm on a Friday because the Google listing says open until midnight. All the food spots were already closed. Wish the listed hours were accurate and specified when the options become limited.

This place is so cute! The restaurants here are delicious and there is quite a wide array of chooses to choose from. All of the staff that I've encountered have been super friendly and are excited to give recommendations. You absolutely have to try Bang Bang Noodles!

Sometimes this place reminds me of a child's pretend tea party. I mean it's all lovely and they have cute little cups and everyone smiles and pretends that it's a grand time but you don't go to a pretend tea party for the food. Let me tell you about our last visit. We wanted to go to Jolly Oyster. They were out of most items. We thought we'd settle for the steamed clams or tinned fish (which they did have) but were out of bread which comes with those dishes. Maybe this place could be called The Crestfallen Oyster. This wasn't the first time we went there and they were out of food. It's hit or miss there. We looked at the places in back to see what they had. The new pizza place had a handful of options but kale pizza or kale salad didn't really sound appealing at all. The chicken place was CLOSED. It seems it's always closed when we go there. What's up with that? You've heard of ghost restaurants. This place ghosts you! I got a glass of overpriced wine at the sausage place. Tiny child size cup not much larger than the little paper cups in your bathroom that you use to rinse after brushing your teeth. My friend wanted to get wine from the wine bar but we were ghosted there too by their CLOSED sign. They have a large cool Wine Bar sign but they're actually a coffee place with a large cool Wine Bar sign, and is closed in the evenings. We ended up at the handroll place. We were the only customers there. We asked about the Chirashi on the menu. The employee told us they only had it when the owner was there and he hadn't been there in a long time. I could tell that the owner hadn't been there in a long time. The place was empty and the people who worked there didn't seem to give a f-ck. This building is beautiful outside and in. I know the developers put a lot of money and attention and love into it. They had researched details about the building's long past as a newspaper publisher. I wrote this too long review because I want this building to succeed. I love this building and want to spend time there and bring friends. They just need food. If you go, enjoy the architecture but know that you may need to eat beforehand.

I love the concept of this public market where independent businesses could probably not afford to own their own building, but they can have a food stall. Definitely want to come back and try all the different options. Had the bang bang noodles and was so delicious and such friendly service. The only downside is the driving situation in downtown Culver city to get to this location. It took me like 30 minutes to go two blocks and it was an absolute nightmare. I hope they fix the downtown traffic to not deter people from going to these great local businesses.

What is here is tasty, and the space is cool, but the restaurants within seem to change somewhat quickly. If you're coming from any distance I'd check what's currently open first.
