The food is pretty good although light on some portions of meat. This isn't a huge issue though. I consider this place pretty good eats for locals.

We have been coming to Emerald Thai Cuisine for over 10 years. Nid, is very welcoming, the food is very authentic, not to mention, really delicious. Since we moved out of the area, we try to make our way to Emerald’s.Kid-friendliness: My four-year-old has been going there since he was in my womb and loves the chicken Pad Thai.

The Mongolian beef dish had a piece of bright yellow plastic in it. The green curry dish was so artificially green that it was unappetizing. This green came from food coloring and not curry powder. Each of these plates cost $16. Utter insanity.

The Thai food here is decent for the West Side. The cup of water given to me still had lipstick on the rim. I would recommend the Panang Curry. I would not recommend the Chicken Satay, the chicken is not marinated enough and lacks flavor, the peanut sauce also lacks flavor.
I love this place. The workers are really kind and accommodating and the food is delicious.

Service was quick, but I did have to find the condiments, food missed on everything I got, veggies were bland, duck was all bone and tempura along with the Thai iced tea were the best part. Parking was difficult.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of options. Be sure to ask for specificsKid-friendliness: Not many ppl so kids can run aroundWheelchair accessibility: No steps but a bit crampedDietary restrictions: Just ask

Sorry to say, the food was awful, ordered Mongolian beef the beef was like leather, the Orange chicken was soggy. The rice was hard, Chow Mein had an aftertaste , Tom-Kar was very salty, Chicken Satay I want to tell you what that taste like! Last one Gang Ga- Ree Kai another one we don’t want to talk about. Again, sorry to say had some friends over and everybody gave it a thumbs down. One friend said panda express is a lot better than this. Called and spoke to the manager. He thought it was funny.

The food was flavorful and the portions were fair. The Thai ice tea was was sweet and Yummy. I loved the white rice, it was cooked to perfection. I had the wonton soup and it had a nice flavor. It had ground chicken, which tasted quite good.
