“Public school 310 is a great chill bar / restaurant in the heart of Culver City. When you walk in, you definitely see the school vibe that the name is based off of which is pretty cool. The restaurant is overall large with lots of seats and a good size bar portion if anyone just wants to chill there. Our server was pretty amazing! He was great with conversation and very attentive. Each staff member that we interacted with were super nice and made sure we were taken care of. For the menu, they have a good selection of choices. They even have a reasonable happy hour menu which has great selections. For food, I ordered the salmon, rice and asparagus which I so appreciated that it was even an option on the menu. A few people with me chose the burger which was a large portion and delicious. This is a great place for any occasion. I highly recommend.“
“33 Taps is really a sports bar, and I don't drink and I hate sports, but we go there anyway. The burgers, fries and other items are worth it.The place is super cute with tables everywhere, they also have a lot of outdoor tables with shade. We always eat in. It is not as loud as you might think, actually it is pretty quiet.The place is kept very clean and the service is fast and very friendly. There is nothing we don't like about 33 Taps.We have had all their burger types and they can make it the way you want. For me there is nothing worse than a well done burger. Make mine bloody and add the cheese. Their salads and bowls are also great. We love the Caesar grilled chicken breast, avocado, black beans, cilantro rice, peppers & onions, romaine, pico de gallo, pickled onion, parmesan, house made croutons, caesar dressing. The Wedge Cobb is also yummy with Iceberg lettuce, applewood bacon, avocado, hard boiled egg, cherry tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles, pickled onions, and ranch dressing. I don't care for ranch and they are happy to give me the Caesar dressing instead.They also have great nachos. The menu is not huge. It is a bar menu. But it tastes like fine dinning burgers to me and don't forget their fries.“
“As part of a family date day we stopped by the Morrison on our way back from Griffith Observatory. As usual, it didn't disappoint. It was still happy hour which was indeed a plus.WILLIAM was our server. He was very nice and friendly. He checked on us numerous times. Enough that we knew were taken of but not too much that he interfered with our lunch.I ordered 1903 lagger and my wife ordered the "Spring Fling". Her drink wasn't loaded but I could definitely taste the alcohol. Drinks were tasty and paired well with the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and turkey burger. We swapped the regular fries with sweet potato fries. We didn't know it when he ordered but they were garlic fries and let me tell you they were... Pretty good! My wife had to leave her regular fries to steal my sweet potatoes.My daughter had the kids meal burger sliders on Hawaiian bread. The serving of fries was NOT kid size. She was over the moon... She loves fries.We ordered dessert, cookies and ice cream. My daughter thought she was in heaven. I didn't partake bc I had had too many garlic fries but they both seemed to enjoy them.Needless to say we'll be back again sometime soon.In the meantime - if you're looking for a yummy meal in a cool ambiance, look no further and stop by the Morrison (no, I was not in any way compensated for this review!)Oh and parking is not the best (small parking lot) but easy to find parking in the street. “Wurstkuche offers a selection of meats and there's also vegetarian options as well. I tried the vegan meat and it was pretty good! Loved the sauces and toppings that they offer and their fries are delicious and thick. I also ordered a belgian beer called Fruli and it tastes like straight strawberry juice--right up my alley! There's plenty of seating and it has a chill vibe to it.“

“Phenomenal! Just had lunch with family and food was great! Had the Messhall burger and hot damn! Cooked medium, sauce is delicious, pickles sweet, grilled onions, bun soaked up flavor with cheddar. One of the best I've ever had. Wife had breakfast sandwich and kids shared the "standard" and that was great! The standard came with great bread, perfectly cooked eggs, and a nice side of fruit. Service was super friendly and timely. Prices are very modest for the quality you get. Parking is valet and tight. Will definitely come again!“

As someone who has dealt with VB personally at my business, I award the patience of this establishment for continuing to let her in over and over again. “MY FAVORITE LA BAR!!! My review is loooong overdue as I've been coming here for years. I've moved further South on Ventura but I still manage to come to what I feel is my home in bar form. I'm a woman who loves mixology and good bartending and most bars are extremely male centric. TLP is great for women and men. It wouldn't surprise me that many women love this bar. You will hear everyone mention "the feel" of the bar and it's because they seem to consistently hire AMAZING BAR AND WAIT STAFF. Kudos to management for keeping such excellent consistency. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME..I come to the bar I sit at the bar and get an INCREDIBLE convo from the bartenders. They always serve me the most fantastic drinks and make me feel like a FUGGIN QUEEN. I love them so much for this. They manage people well and that's hard to come by. Even if I've had a bad day they seem to always say the thing that lifts my spirits -- it's wild. Therapy in a bar almost. lol Keep up the good work guys! See you again soon.“

“Stopped in for a couple of happy hour drinks and apps. The outdoor patio seating was nice. The atmosphere was great. The drinks were pretty good, but more on the sweet side.We had the fries and wings, both of which were pretty good.The service was ok, but both the bartender and our server seemed very annoyed of everyone. Maybe just a bad day.“
“This had all the makings of a great burger, but unfortunately it fell down on one of the most important pillars--execution! Specifically, the meat was not well prepared. I'm not sure if I came on an off day, but the quality was lacking; some bites were too dry; some bites were not seasoned well. It's like whatever beef mixture they were using reached the bottom of the barrel and was not fresh. Also, I ordered the patty rare, and it was served medium-well. Ordinarily, I wouldn't make a big fuss about this sort of thing, but they are clearly going for the "elevated" burger experience at a premium $17 price point, and at those levels they really need to deliver flawlessly, every time. I also felt that the burger was a bit on the small side. I could fit the entire sandwich in one hand. The rest of the composition was actually quite good. I tried their signature "Stout," which comes with blue cheese, Gruyère, bacon, grilled onions, tomatoes, and a horseradish sauce. Each element complements the others really well, without any one becoming overwhelming. Flavor wise, it's all there. I just wish the patty pulled its own weight! I also tried the loaded fries, which were delicious. Specifically, whatever cheese they use melts perfectly over fresh, hot, crispy fries, and had a consistency that was not too runny and not too thick. The Goldilocks of melted cheese! These were also pricey at $9 though, and the portion was also on the small side. Overall, I'm glad that I tried what is allegedly one of the "best burgers in LA," but I won't be running back.“
“My group had a great time there on a very rainy day, which added to the atmosphere. The food was so delicious and there was a lot of it. We did afternoon tea. We were originally seated (crowded into) in the tearoom. There were 3 other large parties there and the noise was horrible. We finally asked to be moved to a table outside this room. Once that happened, we could enjoy the experience and actually carry on a conversation. There were many choices of delicious tea. I definitely would go back, but not on a crowded Saturday.Vegetarian options: We were given the option of a vegetarian tray, which I chose. Delicious.“
“One of the best Korean places I’ve been to. I loved their Pork Belly and Baby octopus dish. It had tons of bean sprouts which seemed a bit odd at first, but completed the dish. Everything was perfectly seasoned. A little sweet and salty but not too much of each. Very big portions and great side dishes.“
“Wow what an amazing brunch experience today! 1) Atmosphere: Nice and chill vibes for a Sunday brunch. 2) Service: Amazing. Our waiter, Steven, took such good care of us! He was super friendly, made great recommendations, and did not let the mimosas run low. (if you show up for Sunday brunch, ask for Steven!) 3) Food: Bottomless mimosas for $24 is a great deal, especially on this side of town. Speciality drinks were good too. I enjoyed my chicken and waffles. They weren't stingy on the chicken like almost ALL the restaurants in LA and the waffle was a nice side and delicious. It was plenty of food for me...we all got to go boxes. I'll definitely be retuning here with a larger group of friends. Highly recommend!“
“Came here for dinner with the boyfriend & pup. It was a chilly night and we were seated on the patio bc the dog was with us, but the heaters kept us perfectly warm (I'm always cold & was concerned about that ). The food is southern comfort, but not so heavy. I had the chicken pot pie. It was creamy but also kind of light, and had plenty of chicken & veggies to fill me up! My partner went with the chicken fried chicken. He ate it all and was very satisfied! Good for brunch or dinner with family, friends & pups :)“

They touted the best burger, which I almost did and would have been amazing but instead I went with the "if anyone puts this one on the menu it's going to be good" and went with the Grilled Artichoke ;-) OMG it was fawesome! “Super friendly service here! The lady running the bar and register was chatty and fun and friendly. I tried their spicy vegan sausage and I liked that it was something they made in house. They have a few vegan hot dogs and you can choose your toppings. Tasted really good. Also got a yummy pretzel. I really recommend the chipotle aioli. Small parking lot available.“
“First off, this place is so cute!! Very nice setup, my boyfriend and I were introduced to it by our friend who is pictured below with the mimosas (I hope he doesn't hate me for posting this haha but he just shows how happy this place will make you!!) Second, bottomless mimosas??? Yes please!! This is such a fun place to do bottomless mimosas, the servers were so nice. We originally wanted to sit in the sun but then we got too hot and they were so okay moving us and they were so conversational and nice, it was amazing. And last but not least, the food! So so good. I absolutely see why my friend loves this place. I will definitely be back when I visit LA again.“

“Work right across from here so this place is one of my go-tos for lunch. Never actually sat down and ate inside even though the energy is always feels good. I've gotten just fries from this place about 4-5 times. There's a reason i've gotten it 4-5 times. They're crispy, always fresh and well seasoned. They also give you three sauces: spicy mayo, garlic aioli, and honey mustard. All are amazing and my favorite is mixing all the sauces and putting them on top of the fries. I've also orders the mozzarella sticks and the classic burger, no cheese, lettuce tomato and pickles. The mozzarella sticks are big and the cheese stretch is perfect. For the burger I didn't care much for the bun but the taste of the burger was amazing. I always come back and will always come back.“

“Always a great choice when you're in Studio City. A tavern feel indeed from the second you step in. Wood covers floor to ceiling all washed in a warm light. The seats at the bar are usually taken up, but it's because it just has a feel good, neighborhood hang vibe. Menus are all over the walls, listing food, a decently sized beer list, and some wine/cocktails. It might take a minute to get your order in; it's "order at the bar only", so be patient with the bartenders as they juggle their multiple job assignments. We always seem to order from the small plates menu, just so we get a little bit of everything. Fried chicken sliders, chorizo sliders, Brussels sprouts, and pork belly skewers are our regular go-to's. Grab a table inside or post up outside on the "patio"; the empty lot next to the building has been converted to an open air hang, complete with picnic tables, heaters if it's cold, lots of hanging greenery, and even an Air Stream trailer (where you can order drinks depending on the season). Find street parking or valet for $10.“

“Honestly this is the best time in town to relax, have a drink and a bite to eat. Everything about this place is class. They make great strong drinks and the food is better than you would expect. Not to mention their happy hour is definitely the best in the area and available from 3-6 m-f. I love their Smash burger and brisket tacos. Their wings and pies are good too. I liked the nostalgic decor in the bathrooms and old magazine style cut outs laminated on the bar tables. Great energy and the people are really nice too. They make a really good espresso martini. “We didn't order any food, so this review is for drinks service, and vibes. On our way from the Petersen Automotive to Pijja Palace, we had some time to kill and so found Jay's Bar on Yelp. The four of us arrived a little after 4:00 on a Thursday, found street parking (rather than the tiny lot), and pulled up to find two other patrons and who we think is the owner doing some business on her computer at a table. Erich was very friendly but not imposing. The happy hour deal of Kirin and gyoza sounded good, but we were on the way to dinner and decided not to. My brother ordered the Big Bad Baptist (on draft!!! I haven't seen it in forever!), my sister-in-law enjoyed her Brooks Dry Cider, Jim G. had a Space Dust on draft and I enjoyed the Yuzu You cocktail, which was a nice mix of shishito-infused gin, yuzu liqueur, lime, and cracked pepper (there's also a bit of simple, which I asked Erich to omit). There was some nice music playing and a rousing tennis match on one tv (at least according to Erich and the two other patrons) and on the other, the end of a Godzilla movie and then an episode of The Sopranos. I imagine at night when this place is packed, the vibe is a bit different, but it was great for our purposes. We are way far away in the northwest SFV, so this isn't a place we'll drive all the way here for, but if we're in the area, we'd definitely stop in again.“
“Love this place but today I had the wings and was very upset.Wings were barely warm tasted like they were not fresh. Buffalo sauce was almost tasteless. Like I said I love this places food but the wings were not on par with all the other food I have gotten there.“

I very much enjoyed their pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich and pastrami french fries. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. I couldn't be happier with my first visit and with about a year and a half left before graduating, I'm probably going to spend a lot of time and money at this place.I live in USC grad student housing and this restaurant is, by far, the most convenient place to eat in the area. It's just a few blocks from my apartment. It's certainly worth the trip.“

“Came for a happy hour. They have some cocktails on happy hour menu. Can order from bar and there is table service. Food is good for bar food: we shared fries tenders pizza and nachos. The ambiance is dark and comfortable with soft lighting and plush seating available. It can get loud with games. Parking is available in a paid lot but the machines weren't working the day I was there. Street parking is also available (read the signs) and there's also metered street parking.“

This place has had staff turnover and sometimes they’re down to 2 people to make the food and serve the drinks; nonetheless, CK and the staff work hard to ensure everyone’s happy and their order is taken.“
