The spinach empanadas is filled to the brim with spinach. The eggplant empanadas is filled with a delicious eggplant salad. DELICIOUS!! Their chicken Milanesa tastes exactly like my mom used to make it. The best I had in LA. & it’s complimented perfectly by the fresh roll & just the right amount of mustard. So many pastries. & everything is freshly made & baked. & the prices! It’s like the pandemic never happened. Not only is the young lady super friendly & knowledgeable. But so are the other customers who were also given me great recommendations. Good food attracts happy, friendly .

Had the beef, ham and cheese empanadas, and an italian sandwich. Sandwich was good, fresh made, bread wasn't dry. Beef empanada was absolutely delicious, ham and cheese empanada was good but the dough was a bit dry on the corners.Get yourself the sugar alfajores, the dulce de leche is out of this world!

Gran Casino Bakery & Cafe ReviewYesterday, my party and I arrived at Gran Casino Bakery & Cafe around 7:35 PM. We were promptly seated and handed menus. However, at 7:40 PM, our server returned and asked for the menus back. Apparently, the kitchen staff had already started cleaning up, even though the restaurant closes at 8:00 PM.This lack of communication was disappointing. If they weren’t prepared to serve us, they should have informed us when we first arrived. Waiting until we were ready to order was inconsiderate.I hope this review helps other potential customers be aware of the subpar service at this establishment.

This is a really great cafe with lots of options and authentic food from South America. The staff are super friendly and the vibe is laid back. I’m from out of town but a lot of the locals were raving about the empanadas from here. Now I’ve been grabbing breakfast every day of the week and have no regrets

I found the place on Google maps and sought only to go, have a cup of coffee, journal, and enjoy the day. What I experienced was deeply disappointing and demoralizing treatment from my server (I think it was Manuel). I didn’t notice the café was Argentinian—if I had looked I probably would have avoided it because I’ve been to Argentina and I know how racist they are toward black people; but i didn’t notice and went anyway, and I was blindsided by how egregious and painful my service was.I was not greeted, then when i found someone to speak to I was asked “what, is there not open seats out there?”, when I responded I wasn’t aware that it was an open seating style, I was then pointed to a seat that was out of view from the street. I asked to sit at a different spot in the sun and given a smug and passive aggressive “okay”. I was then spoken to flippantly like it was the biggest chore in the world to get me a cup of coffee, I was rushed to order, I wasn’t served water, and I kept having to get up and ask for a refill while this same server was warm and accommodating toward other guests. Another server (I will protect their identity) confirmed that they saw the mistreatment and agreed that it was race-based discrimination. What was supposed to be a quick pit stop for me turned into an ugly experience that I have to spend a day or two shaking off for no good reason other than some guy I don’t know decided he didn’t want to treat me like a human being.Absolutely terrible.

Probably the best happy hour menu in Culver City. The beef taco is $10. This is not your regular pan fried beef, it is proper char grilled Argentine style bits in the taco. It is so good! The sangria and malbec are $3.5The garlic fries $3.5The empanada $3.5. The chicken empanada taste the best. The beef empanada was just average.Do not forget to douse your empanada with the chimichuri sauce. Soooo good!

Grand Casino’s take-out bakery’s pastries and empanadas are always so totally delicious. Their front patio is the perfect spot to enjoy your coffee and treat in the mornings. Been coming here for a few years and the quality of their food and service has always been excellent. Also- they play lovely music. :)

Manny was the most attentive and helpful server. He recommended the platillo for two, and it did not disappoint! The meat was so tender and flavorful. He also brought over empanadas and they were so good we even took some to go. Overall, it was such a great experience. Thank you so much!

We were looking for a breakfast burrito in culver, and came across the cutest Argentinian bakery. The customer service was impeccable, she gave us some cookies for our wait. While we really we were happy to wait. Everything is made with love and tasted amazing, The empanadas were pretty good too, definitely make sure to stop by.

Very homie Argentina restaurant! I almost past it due to the low key decoration and name ?. And now I’ve been here three times! The restaurant offers set meal for two people that included meat and vegetables. Meat was well cooked! Beef, chicken and pork ribs, all juicy. The restaurant also comes with a fantastic (maybe Argentinian?) bakery section.
