This was my first time trying Holy Cow; and I was pleasantly surprised! Excellent food...the ribs, pulled pork, greens, and oh the bread! I had a garlic roll and cornbread. Delicious!

Great BBQ. Great Pulled Pork, Brisket, Baby Back Ribs. I didn't care for the Potato Salad but chili was good. Friendly servers.

I was excited to try Holy Cow bbq but was incredibly dissapointed. Finding parking was easy and the inside of the restaurant was very clean. I chose the sampler bbq which is 1 pound of meat, 2 sides and 4 rolls ($53). I chose 1/2 brisket and 1/2 Tri tip, mashed taters and beans. I liked the beans and the potato was delicious. I am giving this place a low score because the meats came out cold, chewy and didn't have much flavor. Luckily service was great and they took it back and grilled it.

My husband and I love this place! We try something new every time and it's always amazing. Love the ribs and chicken and corn bread!

Taste and quality of food is great, esp ribs and tritip. Prices are on the high side, like $6 for one piece of cornbread and $20 for the one-meat meal where your protein portion seems as light as two ounces. The wings are the best value. Orders are always completed quickly and on time.

I love this place. Being from Texas, this is some of the best barbecue I have had since moving to LA and the people who are working there are so nice-- really makes me feel southern hospitality here on the West Coast! I usually order a brisket sandwich and mac 'n' cheese. While some other places claim to have Texas bbq, this place does not and yet tastes more like Texas bbq than most of the others I have tried. Thank you for making such great food and all of your staff for being so nice; in the fast and stressful pace of LA with demanding people it can be hard but this place has the sweetest workers and makes it such a pleasure to come dine here! Good food and your workers are the best, they definitely deserve tonnes of praise!

Went here for the first time ;ast Monday. Thought I would get there in time for happy hour but I missed it. I think it's 5pm-7pm?. My server was very attentive and friendly. I sat at the bar and had a pint of ice cold IPAs. They have a moderate selection of IPAs. The manager was very friendly and offered me some fresh pork skins right out of the oven???. That was delicious.. Great atmosphere and clean business. Try this place out if you are in the neighborhood.

I had been looking for a good fried chicken, and theirs is the best I've found. This definitely isn't KFC. It actually has flavor. Typical California hybrid service. Order at the counter and sit down. I usually get non alcoholic beer, and theirs is a little weird. Slight citrus notes in the flavor. Not off-putting, but unexpected. Wife has fried chicken salad. Altogether a positive experience. We'll be back.

Our favorite BBQ spot - hands down!! It is apparent that Paul and his family have worked hard to cook their bbq with passion and intricacy. Every single time my partner and I are here, we are welcomed with a kind smile and recommendations for what we should order. Their meals have satisfied our cravings every time. Their chicken is juicy and I still wonder to this day how they cook it to perfection! Also, they have a variety of sauces to choose from, which complement the different meats. To top it off, they have mini pies with delicious flavors including banana cream, key lime, orchard apple, peaches, and more! They've been around for more than 10 years and the interior still looks brand new! Thank you so much Holy Cow BBQ, keep up the fantastic work! See you next time!

Ambiance: it's one of the best bbq places in the area, spacious dining hall inside, full bar service Service: you order through the counter and grab a number tag, then they will bring food to your table, servers were very friendly and refilled water adequately Food & Drink: variety choices of bbq meat, combo, burgers, sandos, and salad Santa Maria Tri-Tip - **** tender texture with smoky flavors, recommend Baby Backs - *** a bit dry Beef Ribs - **** only available over weekend while supplies last, chewy and flavorful, recommend Garlic Roll - **** tasty, recommend Mac & Cheese - **** creamy, recommend Lemonade - *** light taste Price: moderate portions and reasonable prices, about $25 per person

I only ordered through an app, so I can't speak to the restaurant itself. My potatoes with bacon, scallions, cheese, and ranch was really good, as were the onion straws. The baby back ribs were excellent as well in both flavor and texture. The only item that needed improvement were the rolls- they were tough and a little dry on the inside- making me think the dough was overworked or just needs some tweaking. Really great food overall, and I would love to try some of the burgers and pulled pork items in the future, as they look really yummy!

Brisket getting too close to beef jerky...After not having been in too long, I went with a couple of friends last week and had a 2 meat combo, brisket and pulled pork. Decent, not great, $24 and only 1 side (had the same combo from the BBQ place a block north recently and it was definitely more moist and 2 sides). The brisket was OK, the pulled pork was good but not great. I tried a baby back rib from my friend, on the dry side. Tonight I went with my family and had the 2 meat plate, this time with brisket and baby back ribs and beans. The brisket seemed like it'd been sitting for hours, it was extremely dry, I was only able to eat 1 of the 3 slices even with the BBQ sauce on the table. The ribs were dry, as well, imagining they were sitting for hours as well. Disappointing to say the least, esp since each of those meat choices is an additional $1 above the $24 plate.

Their food had been better in the past, these past two visits really show a decline.

was hoping for a little bit more for the price point.....food was just average at best.......very very saucy and overall service was poor...probably won't be back anytime soon

Especially Love their ribs, tri-tip, garlic rolls, coleslaw, chili, & key lime pie. The Brisket, Mac&Cheese & kettle beans are also good to's for us.
