We moved to the area recently and are very happy to have found this FANTASTIC restaurant. We love it! We have been there 4 times now and it is consistently delicious. Each new dish we've tried has been perfect and their Tarte Tatin dessert is so good! The apples are perfectly caramelized, which is not an easy thing to accomplish. The fresh mint and fruit garnish was hand-picked to perfection! We look forward to a future dinner experience there!

Excellent sushi, odd patio, and great service! The sashimi was spectacular! The shochu cocktails were bright and fresh! We would definitely come back!

This is a horrible sushi place!! Girlfriend got food poisoning from fish. I should've known from walking into the place when it wasn't crowded at night on a weekend not to go here. They can make a good crab roll, but the toro was disgusting. The baked crab roll was the worst I've had, and the rest of it not very good. The appetizer free little bowl they give you in the beginning is disgusting, everyone should be fired there. This place does not belong in Culver City. We need a good restaurant. I would recomend spending your money at a better place or at least one that won’t make you sick!!

K-Zo Sushi is owned and operated by Kei and Yuki. Kei, formerly head chef of renowned Sushi Roku in Santa Monica, is classically trained in the Tokyo style. Kei is also a Cordon Bleu chef. Order the kaiseki (chef's choice) for an unforgettable experience of dishes traditional and unique. The sake and wine list are equally amazing. Kanpai Keizo-san and Yuki-chan!

I went there for a business dinner and the food was pretty good. I had been here once before many years ago and I feel the food has remained the same. The food quality was pretty good I can't say it is the best I have had. I had the Lobster roll, Dragon Roll and a few other things. Food taste I feel could be more flavor full in my opinion. The service was very good. The ambience I feel like it is getting bit old and needs some TLC. Three seems to be an Oder as you enter and things just are starting to look aged. This is my rating is like a 3.74 for Food3 for Ambience4.5 for Service

I don’t know what happened here but the cuts of fish were very bad this visit. Maybe I am uncultured but I almost threw up in my mouth eating the Toro because it was so stringy. Also most of the other sushi was torch cooked, which is suspicious in my opinion. It’s not like the food was bad bad, but for 500$ I expect better.

We recently went there for the 1st time. I thought the food was really good and the restaurant pretty. I had various sushi, and my friend had the seafood salad and fried crab. It was expensive, but satisfying. I was not crazy about the caterpillar roll, but the other sushi was good.

My favorite sushi place! The quality of the sushi is outstanding! The service is polite and attentive. Be sure to try the halibut and the red snapper. It's the best in the city! Even better than Nobu!

I'm pretty confused why this place has such good reviews. I went here with 3 friends, all who really love sushi and none of us were a fan... a bit disappointing. Service was great, but food was not at all.

Amazing! We had beet and goat cheese salad, sunomo, ceviche, sea bass, no-rice shrimp tempura roll, eel & avo roll, albacore sushi, salmon skin hand roll, and nigiri sake. Next time I will stick to No rolls as I feel they specialize in sashimi type dishes. The fish is SO fresh! Highly recommend. With tip for 2 people was $176. Parking is behind restaurant in parking structure. Parking is validated.

I live in the Bay Area, and there are only a few Japanese restaurants where I live that are on a level with this place. Don’t miss out while you’re in the west LA or Culver City area: this restaurant is truly exceptional. I ordered a variety of sushi and sashimi appetizers and they were all fabulously prepared, with impeccable care and fresh ingredients.

Firstly this place is tucked in a gem of a location in Culver City, next to a Trader Joe's and near lots of boutiques, restaurants, and shops. There are lots of fish and nonfish options at this restaurant. We ordered the calamari which was so nicely breaded, very light and crispy. The sushi was fresh and flavorful. The ribeye teriyaki was very soft and smooth to eat! It was unlike other steak I've tried. I'd compare it to what we'd imagine "boiled" steak tasted like LOL. The portions seemed small at first but we were pleasantly surprised by how full we felt after eating! Each entree comes with a salad and miso soup making for a perfect combo meal. The overall service was on point! Our table was always clear of finished plates and our glasses always filled with water. They were super nice and attentive. They also validate parking if you park in the structure right next to the Trader Joe's. The first hour is free and the next 2 hours are free with validation.
